Awesome stuff, well I've heeded your advice and brought insurance, especially since I'll be sharing the car with a friend who's never need on a track day before.

Who here's been around Cadwell Park on a track day before? Anyone know how technical the track is and if there are any easy obstacles to hit? I've been invited to a Javelin Open Pit Trackday there next weekend and just trying to gauge weather I should get insurance or not.....I know always better safe than sorry but if it's quite an open track with not a lot to hit, then I'm willing to take a chance. Yeah, I was surprised at how quickly they arrived considering the site was saying anywhere between 2-6 weeks or something silly like that, but mine arrived within a week. Let us know what you think Dave!

Steve, I don't think it was anything in particular that caused Rob to start this thread, he often posts up mini rants about things but never really truly has an issue with any of it (you should see some of his facebook rants ). True, not divulging information is not classed as lying, again, to my understanding, actually lying to peoples faces about who they are and what they've done or flat out saying that they haven't done something when they have is what Rob's ranting at which I totally agree with, why lie about it. If they want to be private about it no probs, just say so, say that you'd rather not have your mods mentioned online, just like people who don't want their Regs being posted online in photo's.

Yeah, I heard it was supposed to snow bad tonight/this weekend but nothing yet.......we'll see...you can never tell....the question is....will the government get the place gritted in time or have they already ran out / stored most of it away?

Hey all, I've got a wedding to attend in Toulouse at the start of August and I plan on driving down there, anyone done a similar route that they'd suggest taking or know of any amazing roads I need to take? I've got a 2 weeks off, the wedding is right in the middle of this time off (so Saturday 2nd August) so from 28th July, I need to get there for the 1st August at the latest. And then after the wedding (so either the Sunday 3rd or Monday 4th, I'm free to wonder somewhere else before needing to be back by Saturday 9th or Sunday 10th at the latest, any suggestions on where would be a good place to visit that I could still make it back in time? Where's that place with the old race track that is now just abandoned/derelict public road? I take it you only pay tolls on motorways.....so just stick with normal roads right? Any other hits and tips regarding my trip and anyone else keen?

Finally got round to calling Demon Tweeks and they supplied Nigel Greensall, the rent a car fella who wiped the floor of everyone at the TSS Blyton round last year, a set of Ferodo DS2500 for about £270.62 for both front and back. Nigel think that they're that great that he's on his 2nd set already. Anyone know if there's a way to search for these brakes without having to search for GT86 or BRZ's? Do these cars share the same type of pads as any other vehicle? I'm actually in need of some brake pads myself.

Wow, this trip is guna be mega miles.....I'm planning on heading down from Warwick all the way down to Toulouse, most probably avoiding as much motorway as possible but still need to find a decent route. I've got about 5 days to head there so will probably just head straight down, but come the Sunday, a mate will be flying out to Toulouse where I'll pick him up and that's where the real journey begins. Yeah my local dealer told me about this last year some time and again the other week but nothing seems to be official yet so doubt you'll find any details yet until their good and ready.....but who knows how long that might be.

Again, awesome stuff Jay.....how easy is it to manually turn off the PC or say switch it to turn on and off with the car? I'm thinking the only time I want the PC up and running ready is only when on track.....other times, I can wait I'm sure. How would this always on feature affect playing music? Does that mean now you have to manually play and pause before you turn the car off or something?

LOL, yeah yeah Rob, we all know who you're directing this to really But I agree.....what are they honestly trying to achieve? Maybe they don't want anyone else copying what they've done.....which isn't guna stop them unless they've built it themselves........maybe same reason they don't want people to see what their reg is......stop people from thinking about their car and thinking it might be worth more than someone else's......maybe they want to burn people of the lights who think that they might be running stock when in fact they're not......either way......pointless in my opinion!!!
