  1. Nice find.....kind cheap....but probably for a reason, doesn't actually mention the resolution of the video, just the camera. I've actually found my dash cam and its on order now (got to wait a while as it's coming from China.....kinda why I've not posted anything up yet), check out the review for it within the ebay page: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151071891306?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I've ordered a sticky mount rather than a suction mount, 3m long USB cable, 12V-5V to USB adaptor and then 2 x 32gb Micro SD cards (rather than get a single 64gb one, this way I can use one card for track days and the other can stay in there for normal road use.

    Starting issue

I've had it only two or three times since I've had mine and one of the times was my own fault for lifting off the clutch too early, when you tried to start it again, it would take a while to start up....don't know if that has anything to do with it....could be that there's too much fuel in the system, could be waiting for some sort of sequence to finish which might have been interrupted?

    Happy Birthday

    Happy Birthday!
  9. It's up to you mate, I've got most of the payment through from others as I wanted to make sure I had enough to cover the full payment which I have now so if you want, you can wait till they arrive or whatever. I'll forward you my details anyways later and you can decide.
  10. Great news everyone, payment has been made and Nathan has kindly only charged us £100 for each set, even though there is 9 of us rather than 10 (good man Rob for stepping in at the last minute). The only thing left is how much the import duty will be so will let you all know once they arrive in the UK!

    GT6 Anybody?

http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=29389 Cool vid....though not too sure about his choice in steering wheel....the Thrustmaster T500RS is pretty expensive and not all that great. The force feedback is borderline too powerful/over aggressive (reckon it could break a small childs arms if the kid was stupid enough to put his arm through the steering wheel while the force feedback was on full load like during the boot up sequence). The pedals are nice and solid, plus handy how you can flip them upside down to be like normal pedal that hang down rather than stick up but there's no sense of feel or resistance from them at all unlike the Fanatech pedals that have more substance and will vibrate to simulate ABS which author Dale seems to want!
  12. It does look nice....would have been epic if it was white leather instead of the red

Top Gear back on this weekend

Got to say, I quite enjoyed last nights episode. The 4C around Italy (not so much the quad but cool bit of kit), the P1 around Belgium, beautiful cars around beautiful countries. I'd love to see them do a sprint through the mountains of Japan in an 86 or something similar to what they did with the GTR!
  14. OK, e-mail has now been sent, list on the first page has been updated, I'll let you all know how much he can do them for as there's 9 of us now, again, there will be a lil bit more after import tax so final figures won't be till the items arrive.
  15. Great stuff rob....so what did the organisers think to Keith's and your GT86's?
  16. LOL, good man! No one else then? What happened to my tenth Mark?
  17. No more takers then? I was meant to nudge this the other day but forgot. I'm guna e-mail Nathan tonight (lets say midnight) for the final price for 8 people so anyone's still interested has 6 hours to make up their minds and put their names down!
  18. LOL, looking forward to seeing this

They are rather chunky wheels....what kind of weight were you expecting Lauren?

    De Badging

Either method should be fine but you may find the water helps lube the floss and allows you to kinda saw away more easily. It is just the letters you want removing right....not the actual Toyota Badge right? As that has 2 pins to located it so because removing that!
