Happy Birthday - Captain Duff & Delayed BRZ
Keethos replied to rob275's topic in Non GT86/BRZ General Chat
Bit late but happy birthday yall! -
You can't really go wrong with either the K&N air filter or even the HKS air filter which is virtually the same I believe (I'm sure the main tuning companies here i.e. Fensport, Abbey Motorsport and Tuning Development can supply these filters for about £30odd). When we were down at Abbey Motorsport for a dyno day, we saw one car absolute stock get roughly a 6hp increase from simply dropping in a HKS air filter and that made quite a few of us buy one too. It was one of my very first mods and very easy to install. Though I have no idea about the Pipercross and the Cosworth ones but I'm sure there was an article somewhere that tested a variety of them.....or was that just the whole intake that they tested....can't remember sorry.

I know it's a bit Alan Partridge, but...

They look nice Will! Nah Keith, I don't actually like wearing shades while driving, for some weird reason they make me drowsy. -
I was actually thinking exactly the same thing about having a gold Cobra decal!

Nice, I got a pair of leather gloves for my birthday one year which were a fair bit more expensive (it was from a proper old gentleman's store) but I wear them almost everyday when it's cold (do wished more cars had heated steering wheels). Not quite the drivers gloves with the cut outs and stuff but they do have a red kinda silk inner lining....more like murdering gloves But they grip the steering wheel with little slippage within the gloves.......and they look and feel the part.....especially with my suit & big black over coat on with a shaved head.......Hitman style -
Welcome along Chris, glad you can join us and loving the beast of a car you've put together! Looking forward to seeing it on the 11th!

Or in Lauren's case where it's unpainted so if she's going white, she'll have to make sure it matches properly cos of the pearl.
-
Awesome stuff Jay, looks nice...you guna keep them gold? Or you guna add some other gold bits to your car to bling her up?
-
Wish I could have made this, but I was too busy helping my brother fit his new kitchen. Faith....what's going on with your pics....they're sooooo small and fuzzy......or were you drunk again Did anyone have a go in Chris' beast?
-
No way.....I hope he pulls through, never really followed F1 but everyone knows Schumi was a legend nonetheless and always seemed to be a sound and friendly fella on TV.
-
Ouch, not good Lauren, hopefully it won't be too expensive to sort out. I managed to curb my front drivers side wheel....2 scratches around the outer rim about an inch in length each....and this was on my drive way
-
Ooooooooo.....I'd be very interested to see these in red with your red volks!!!
-
I most likely won't be able to make this, I've got to help my brother fit his bloomin kitchen!

HUNTER HawkEye Elite TD Wheel aligner
Keethos replied to Mark@Abbey M/S's topic in Abbey Motorsports
That looks like some pretty cool piece of kit with a lot of cool features.....bet that was a pretty penny. How exactly do the wheel pods attached to the wheel? I could see the hub caps on the wheels in the vid properly flex as he clapped the pods in position. -

LOL, awesome stuff....the traction control light was going mental.....was gear and revs was it doing that in? -
Hmmm....I read from a couple of sources that they cancelling the show and weren't renewing it for another season.....either, the last season still felt rushed and wasn't that great so savour seasons 5 and 6 while you still can Also, those who are looking for something new to watch and are into their superheroes, definitely recommend Arrow which is from the makers of SmallVille.....I blitzed through about 30 odd episodes (a season and a half) within a week.....courtesy of being away on business with lonely nights in a hotel with a relatively decent TV that I could hook my laptop upto

I spend a fair bit of time watching american TV so thought I'd share some of the ones I'm currently watching and a brief description:Dexter - Absolutely Awesome! Even more so that Yvonne Strahovski in the later series. Dexter is a blood splat analyst for the Miami Police who has urges to kill, but by following a "code" he only targets criminals.Breaking Bad - Awesome! Chemistry teacher who gets cancer and in order to pay for treatment, decides to use his chemistry knowledge to make meth and ultimately becomes a make shift drug dealer.Suits - Bloody Awesome! Funny and snappy banter law firm series revolving around a young lad who has an eidetic memory and uses it to pass the bar test for people but ultimately becomes a lawyer, though he's passed the bar many times, he doesn't actually have a law degree.Burn Notice - Awesome! A burnt spy (disavowed by the U.S. government) who tries to find out why he was burnt ends up doing jobs for people who are in trouble. Kinda robin hood/oceans 11 style jobs with descriptive monologue of how spy's do things.Homeland - Due to return on 29th September. Pretty Good! A Marine finally returns home after being a captive in Iraq for 8 years, only to be suspected of being a terrorist by a single Intelligence Officer. Very "24" feel to it but just not as much action (24 was an awesome series too by the way)I've got a load of other programs that I watch but all have finished and won't be starting up again till later this year.Discuss....................
