Most of have stuck with the oem stuff and Chris from Cheap Toyota Parts do it fairly cheap. Others have gone a lil more fancy but can't remember what exactly they've jumped onto.
-
LOL, awesome stuff, so did the pilot actually have a drive around in your 86? What did he think?
-
Yeah, I've not even played the previous COD yet (the one based in the future), played and completed all the previous on veteran (bar world at war which I gave up on right at the end because it got way too difficult in a seriously cheap way....where enemies would just bombard you with grenades none stop), but I've been slacking so not brought the previous or latest COD yet, I will do eventually but def won't be playing online.....can't be doing with it anymore, BattleField4 online maybe as I really enjoyed BF3 but I'm waiting till I get next gen next year sometime!

Sorry, when I say valve, I meant the high pressure fuel pump.....it still haves valves on it doesn't it?
-
I was shocked to see a red TRD parked up....even more shocked that it was yours Mark.....had no ideas that you had that on the cards! That the same custom quad exhaust that riceburner was offering?

LOL, I'd love to know how to search for one of these, these silly pin connectors, I've heard it was difficult enough finding ones for the head unit which you'd think are more common, but to try and find this connector for the aerial....no idea....don't even know if it's a common connection or not.

Hey, There was a topic regarding this cheap shark fin aerial (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190907491383?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649) before the update but sadly that was lost into the depths of oblivion. Anyways...I decided to get one myself and after a long struggle of finding the right time and getting the bloody original aerial off (couldn't figure how to disconnect it as there's little room to work with the roof lining not offering much room), but once I did, I stuck the aerial into position first to see how it'll look and to my disappointment, the bloody thing doesn't sit right: You can see there's a gaping hole, even if I pushed down, it would not close the gap and I could see it pushing the roof in slightly, so I didn't even bother to try and screw the part down as I'm pretty certain it wouldn't make a difference. So to those who've had this installed, did you have this issue? Did you seal it with something or did yours sit flush no problem? Thanks!

I thought you had to go with the lowest dipstick reading as the dipstick ends up at a slight angle, so the higher reading isn't that correct no? Again, I'm pretty sure they are related as I no longer have either noise after my dealer swapped in a new valve, and you can just about tell that they're the same type of noise and same rhythm, just a slightly different tone.

Yeah, that's bull about not releasing the Xbox in more countries at launch.....but this is pretty cool.....sadly, I've never really been very good or had the patients to do this in the previous Forza.....that and I won't be getting a Xbone any time soon!!!

Hey all, I know some of you's have had a pretty impressive car history and I know for certain than Will and maybe one or two others have owned an Evo before. I've got a mate who's got a Focus RS who had ordered a new Megane RS 265 but is getting messed around with delays and what not and now is thinking of getting something else instead. Hence the Evo question. Can anyone with experience shed some light, advice and experience of owning an Evo, what to look out for, review etc. I believe he's looking at an Evo X but if it's advised against for whatever reason I'll be sure to tell him. The Focus was actually his achievable dream car, but now that he's had it, he's already wanting something else. This lad can't keep a car longer than 6 months....he originally had a Peugeot 205 for many many years, but then out the blue he got himself a MX5 I think, but then shortly after he went onto a Fiat Punto Abarth, then shortly after a Fiat 500 (don't ask), then shortly after again a Megane RS 230 F1 edition I think, then shortly after again the Focus RS....though surprisingly he's had the Focus for about a year now I think (though I may have missed one or two out). Already tried to convince him to get a BRZ but he needs a more practical car where he can fit people in the back....even though he doesn't really drive people about and is always wanting me to drive when I visit Every lil helps.....thanks!

I did double check, drove all the way home from Mark's place and waited 20mins before re-checking and again, it was mega low for me, I do need to check again now that it's been a couple of weeks.
-
For me, if the car is guna have a big wing like that, it needs a big body kit and some POWAAAAAAA too
-
He's been converted!!!!

Hmmmm.....that looks a lil out of place now Jeff....you need to bling the rest of the engine bay now Maybe do what Jay did and anodise the struts the same colour or a red intake pipe or box or something?
-
Yeah, I could do the soldering, or even just crimp them......but I don't really fancy cutting up the oem aerial.....even though what I could do is crimp the oem aerial as well so I could always still reconnect the original aerial if I wanted to go back.....but I'm just being lazy

Keethos replied to faith's topic in Social Meets
I can sympathize Rob, I seem to be hemorrhaging the past several months, I'm continuously using more money than I earn And the main reason is the amount of petrol I burn through I think.....all these bloody meets.....it's guna be the death of me this club is Then again, these mods aren't helping -
Dunno, but I was really shocked, I had my car serviced at the end of June, gave them the oil which they used up and 3 months later when I got my exhaust fitted, one of Mark's fellas check my oil at it was at minimum mark I had the car for about 9 months and it used hardly a drop, then after a service, only 3 months later and I was at bare minimum........should we be worried?

I agree, PC performance will always be better than consoles but they definitely can't win the so call "console war". PC's have always been more powerful yet there are hardly any amazingly powerful games for it, only some decent PC versions of the main stream games. So it often doesn't really matter how powerful your PC was, you didn't have any decent games that would utilise that power as there were just poor PC ports. That trend is slowly changing in favour of PC's, there are now more and more dedicated PC versions which look and perform better but there will still be quite a few console only games.

Yeah, couple of months back I spoke to my local Subaru dealer (Balsall Common) and he told me that they were teaming up with Cosworth to do some tuning and stuff for customers, might have something to do with this.
-
Arh.....thought he was guna drift around that lil island
-
Oooooo noooooo, starts off well....even though it looks a lil Volvoie at the front.....but the rest just goes to sheeeeet! They have to stick with the concept look!
-
Hmmmmm......really don't think they should have used that paint scheme on the BRZ, it looks terrible in both a graphical sense and general looks sense. I know it's still early days but I hope that next gen graphics gets better than that for the Xbox, it doesn't actually look all that next gen to me. Do you know much about this scaling up to 1080p rather than it being native Alex?
-
Looks good so far and if it stays true to the concept, I'm on board! Love the look of the concept, especially the blue and green highlights!
-
Awesome write up Keith, wish you carried on describing the rest of the turns/track :-D Glad you had a great time and like others have said, incident free and more importantly your confidence! Looking forward to seeing your pics etc!

Glad to see you on here again Jeff! And I was mega surprised to see you at Russ' getting your car washed before this meet....which made mine look miles dirtier that it already is And like I've said before, love those wheels!
