Hello and Welcome! To most people, what's going on on the other forum wouldn't be classed as a club and the owner don't seem to be interested in taking the forum much further where as we plan on establishing a proper club and more importantly a none profitable organisation (unlike the owner Dan off the other forum who sets up lots of forums to make a profit off). It's still early days here but plan on making more of an effort to make a proper club presence at shows etc.

SK54ADK's 1st Birthday party in Macclesfield this Saturday August 10th

Yay Alec's back, where have you been old friend. Happy Birthday to your ride! -
What an awesome turnout today, I'm sure there were only 7 or 8 names down but we had a whopping 11 cars turn up and even more surprising was that there were 3 BRZ's!!! And in different colours!!! 1xWRX Blue, 1xBlack and 1xSliver!!! And of course, I'm pretty sure it was the main attraction...me of course , only joking, Pitman's TTTTTTTTTurbo!!! And it was GLORIOUS!!! First off, it was great meeting new faces and it was great meeting old faces too. Plus I've got to say, real happy with the weather as it was nice and sunny all day while we were out (though it did storm it down early morning). I'd also like to thank Pitman ever so much as he was a mega brave man to actually let me drive it.....and it was EPIC!!! So much pull when it kicks in from 2.5-3k rpm onwards and I've got to say, I love the sound of the car, even with the stock tips, changing up the rest of the exhaust makes it sound so deep and burbley, and then the roar of the engine and the turbo....can't wait to checkout what other changes you'll make, especially with the new exhaust! Also, had an awesome time with Pitman's son who passenger'd with me while we got lost but comfortably made it back in one piece I've got to be honest, I'd probably wouldn't go as high powered as that, you rip through the gears quite quickly that I fear it maybe too much of a handful for myself and loses the need to work the car when driving enthusiastically down country lanes but I'd love to take it on track and push a car with that much power around. And lastly, here are some pics:I've also got a 14mb gif that I created with my phone that I can't upload, any ideas where I could up load it to to post on here or even how to go abouts compressing it to upload onto here?

Lauren you devil you, those roads look EPIC!!! So Jealous! Would love to tackle them roads.....touch wood, lets hope that these roads will be clear for you as I've been told that a lot of these beautiful roads are never this empty and are often choka blocked with buses, cyclists, caravans etc.FYI your last pic isn't showing properly, just just "Image by: Brodyaga.com" in a white box.

Hmmmmm.....nothing to write home about.....plus doesn't Subaru now offer 5 year warranty as well? And isn't the road tax on an auto slightly cheaper rather than more expensive?
-
Nice write-up Lauren.....so not convinced you to fork out £100 odd (it is a £100 odd right?) for some door pieces?
-
Sounds like a right plan! Also Lauren, what alloys was the orange 86 rocking?
-
Good write up Lauren and could be keen for this! Love it when other people plan a holiday and I just tag along :32 (18):

Welcome! Quite a few people have opted just for a new air filter (HKS which is what I've got and K&N seem the most popular, can't go wrong for just over £30) rather than a complete new intake as the stock seems pretty good air flow wise, swapping out the air filter lets it breath a lil better, slight increase in sound and the car feels a lil more eager (but that could just be a placebo).

This is what you can do in a 750hp FR-S/GT86/BRZ (probably :32 (18) http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=YD7OBAO8k2s

Looks awesome there Lauren. Would love to do a GT86 trip over that way! So why drive the AE over and not the GT? No other GT's there?
