Don't forget brand new tyres will need running in so they might not be as grippy to begin with.....that plus hasn't it been a bit wet recently anyways? It's always going to be a bit more playful in the wet.

Congrats and welcome to the club officially!

Congrats and welcome to the club, glad you went with your heart and not with your head, never worry about what others think about your car, it's what you think that matters the most......but it is a bonus when others do like it I suppose.....so FYI, good choice, looks good!!!

Hmmmm....am I the only one who thinks this just doesn't work? Don't get me wrong, watched and loved Initial D, think this is cool and everything but I just don't think it works with the GT86, the lines just don't work.

Where on earth did you find that Deacon? That to me looks like an internal document not meant for public viewing, good find!

It's usually the way things are daidaiiro, games are $50 in the US and £50 in the UK (typically), the FRS was $25,000 in the US where as the UK was £25,000

Aren't the Valenti's LED's? Mine are working fine I think.....is it just to make them flash as the same pace or they just flat out don't work?

Does anyone know "Kaz" personally?
Keethos replied to CGR Automotive's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Sadly only met the fella once, sorry. -
I personally gave up on looking for a light weight wheel, there's not enough information out there regarding weights and hardly any company out there will bother weighing them and hardly of the manufactures bother specifying them either. Looking for a light weight wheel also severely limited my wheels choices as they either look meh and not very interesting while only being a little bit lighter or they look awesome, are light but cost a bomb. If you are looking for Rays/Gramlights/Volks then check out coorsport as they are the main UK distributors of Rays but you can also contact Fensport, Abbey Motorsports, Tarmac Sportz and probably even Amber Performance as they can source all sorts too. The alternative would be to contact someone in Japan and have them ship stuff over for you such as Japex or 86WORX etc.

Toyota UK - Tada San Meet 24/06/16

Awesome pics Will....still gutted I couldn't make this.....and someone rub salt in the wound and give me a step by step on what happened down there? -
I'm going to have to disagree with Lauren and say don't worry about the weight of the wheels, I'm assuming you won't be chasing 10ths off lap times etc so I wouldn't worry about the weight of the wheel, it should be a bonus if they are lighter, not a major consideration. I tried to find nice light weight wheels specifically for track use and I wasted a lot of time, it severely reduced my choice of wheels. They were either relatively light but not very interesting look wise or they look really nice and were light weight but were mega expensive. As for fitment, what people have suggested is fine, to hopefully clear up some of the confusion, the offset is from the centre of the wheel to the mating face of the wheel hub, so if your wheel is 8 inches wide, the centre line is 4 inches in (i.e. down the middle of the wheel) which means when the stock wheels are +48mm further out from the centre of the wheel, the wheel sits further into the arches, if you get a wheel with a +30mm offset, this means that the distance between the centre line of the wheel and the wheel hub has reduced which would mean then the wheel should sit further out: Hope this helps. As mentioned, the http://frsproject.com/ website is great to check this out and play with the wheel info to visually see roughly how the wheel would sit.

Why would a relay be needed?

BLACK GT86 FOR SALE **AIR LIFT PERFORMANCE**
Keethos replied to Eddyf93's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Cars
Ah fairy scruff, well best of luck with the sale and hope you enough your Ford, the RS does seem like a very good car but I've heard the wait on either one of those cars is a long while. -
Yes like Tareim said, don't trust the stock levels on the site, best contact direct because they probably already have some in stock but not updated the website or even if they are out, they would order some in for you.

I thought Fensport sells them? Didn't Ian get his from Fensport?

Hopeful future BRZ owner, need some advice
Keethos replied to Ben halliwell's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Welcome to the club Ben and impressed that you're planning that far ahead for an 86! I learnt to drive late in life (23 I think) and drove around in a Ford KA for a year before taking full advantage of the scrappage scheme and scrapping and pretty battered old Fiesta for a brand new Clio 200. That was a big step up but it wasn't light years (we're not 1000hp at your feet and a lil too much gas equals instant spin outs and death) so you'll be fine, you'll just need to be careful on the primacys in the wet and in cold weather being RWD. I then went from the Clio to the 86 which in my mind was a side step going from FWD to RWD for the first time was more about the fun of driving a RWD car (similar weight and power). As for prices, I'm sure the BRZ will be the same as the 86, even though they're rare, they're not as rare anymore as when they first came out, toyota had an agreement that every 10 86's there'll only be 1 BRZ (I think that was the number), but that doesn't apply anymore and more BRZ's have been appearing over the past year or so. Best of luck with the saving!
