Bumper grill, headlight surround & indicator / fog surround
Keethos replied to GT86Jay's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
[emoji22] Sorry to hear that dude, would have had a spare fog light surround but I've already given it to someone else. Hope you get this sorted soon! -
Welcome to the club Bert and a nice list of mods thus far.....pics please [emoji16]

Congrats! -
Congrats....glad to see that even after 3 years that your still back in another 86!

Agree with everyone's comments.....though who else felt really awkward when Matt and Evans were telling Eddie that he had to press the offroad button and that he wasn't allowed to drive anymore.....old people really shouldn't be allowed to drive.....on that subject I had to swerve and almost clipped a kerb because an old man on a motorbike was filtering stationary traffic on a fast courtesy lane....while in the middle of the opposite side of the road....i.e. in the middle of on coming traffic

Yeah, the fronts beat me too, managed to fit the rears no problem but struggled with the fronts so ended up driving around a bit with just stock fronts and unaligned rears.

Congrats and welcome to the club!

No worries Stevo

Awesome stuff Keith, please let us know how you get on with her once you've spent some more time with her!

FYI, Will and myself will be heading over to the Toby Carvery in Binley (Brinklow Rd, Coventry CV3 2DS) for 9am for some unlimited breakfast before heading over to MotoFest for around 10:30ish. If anyone wants to join us, feel free!

Ah no worries dude!

I would have loved to join you as I had a blast last time around wales but sadly I'm off up to Scotland to do something similar (North Coast 500 route) that weekend. What nav software are you using? I've used a program called Route Converter which uses Google maps to plan with (though not necessarily as user friendly) and then I can export that route out as a .trp file which Co-Pilot can read. It can read in the KML and KMZ files (though no idea what it'll look like) so you can then tweak and export them back out as the relevant format you need for your nav (there is a relatively large list but no idea if your nav is supported).

Usually shortly after, though sometimes I've had to go a lil longer to find a Shell garage (most miles with the light on was about 40 I think). I tend to do short dual carriage way runs everyday with the odd motorway journey here and there, otherwise it's town driving....plus heavy foot and impatience equals less miles

Wow 460 miles is impressive, I average 250 and the most I've ever got was 350.

FYI I've adjust the title, hope you don't mind Max! Can I get a show of how many people are interested in attending this weekend? Namely on the Saturday because I might be able to sort people out with parking very close to the action. This is the agenda for the day, not sure what time people want to turn up but here's the list: 10.35 - 11.10 Classic Cars 11.10 - 11.25 Rover BRM Parade Laps 11.30 - 12.15 Motorbikes 12.15 - 12.45 Trucks 12.45 - 13.45 Cars 13.50 - 14.25 Classic Cars 14.25 - 14.40 Rover BRM Parade Laps 14.45 - 14.30 Motorbikes 15.30 - 16.00 Trucks 16.00 - 16.50 Cars 17.00 - 18.00 Parade laps to close event If I can get a list of people and times they plan on arriving but more importantly what time they'd think of leaving (so I can let people out of the car park), I can PM people of the details closer to the date: 1) Keethos 2) Mike 3) Maxwellphillips 4) Kieranidus 5) Will300 ) Deacon??? ) STEVO9000???

Thanks Ade, will keep that in mind.

It's surprising the responses on the Ferodo's, I've heard good things up until now. I have a couple of used sets which I'll try and before buying anything new.

Newbee from Newcastle - current VXR owner soon to be GT86 owner
Keethos replied to KellyStark's topic in Newbies
Congrats and best of luck with the wait, I'm sure you'll be itching to pick her up. I'd recommend exhaust system with your remap, the stock is very quiet. Drop in air filter and positive shift mount for a couple of cheap mods that are well worth it (air filter can net you a couple of BHP and the shift mount will give you a nice gear change feel). Oh and an OEM arm rest!!! -
Pretty much what others have said, format was same and boring, Evans' voice was annoying especially when he's screaming, thought the rallycross was a nice change, not enough news/actual car info and the celebs bit was a bit weak. I usually don't mind the celeb bits when they actually talk a bit more, tell more stories etc but this week was a bit weak. The actual cars this week were pretty cool (Dodge, Corvette and Nomad....not the Reliant, Jeep or Land Rover) but I enjoyed the Extra Gear more than the actual show, a lot more informative and enjoyable. Will continue to watch for the cars but I do hope it improves....and I can't believe they put Harris on the back seat on the webisodes rather than on TV, let's hope that changes.

That's the idea, stick some ferodo pads on.
-
Congrats and welcome to the club! Any plans for the car? Mods, trackdays, shows etc?
-
Good plan Kev but I don't have the skills or the cojones. It's just strange as I don't remember experiencing the pressure drop on the pedal but then again the calipers were seizing/sticking for a long while. Thanks all for your inputs, I'm guna try some other pads maybe before my next track day but might stick with them for the next TSS since I shouldn't experience any fade on short sprints I hope.

Awesome morning....even though I was sleep deprived, it was great to meet up, chat with new and old faces but especially loved the breakfast. ...considering I didn't have any tea the night before. I was planning on heading straight home to sleep but I ended up staying out all day washing Will's MX5 and mine which definitely needed a bug clense (Thanks Will)

I honestly have no idea, the first set came with the kit and the ones I've put in now were given to me so probably again came with them. But doesn't brake fade equal less stopping power? As the brakes only loss progression and required more pedal travel but still stopped well.

Fronts are K Sport BBK I believe and the rears are stock size Stoptech
