No pics of my setup....mainly because it looks like a bomb site....that plus I'm running a 8-9 year old PC which I think I need to upgrade: Display: Samsung 8 Series Plasma PS51D8000 3D TV CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 - 2.4GHz overclocked to 3.2GHz Heatsink: Scythe Ninja-PLUS Rev B Mobo: ASUS P5K-E/WIFI-AP AiLifestyle Series P35 GPX: NVidia MSI GTX 560 Ti Case: Coolermaster COSMOS RC-1000 PSU: Coolermaster 1000W RealPower Modular RAM: Corsair 6GB DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2 CL 5(5-5-5-12) HDD: Samsung 500GB 840 SSD + various other hard drives Input: Logitech diNovo Keyboard + R.A.T 9 Mouse All this on a big glass dining table in a smallish bedroom (that's right, a big dining table that I brought when I was at uni and thought I'd use it as a normal table ) and an office chair that I acquired from my old work placement company.....actually carried it home from work which meant sitting on it while I was on the train and then carrying it through town.....even had the ticket lady ask me what was wrong with their seats

I've updated the title for this so people can see easily where and when it is now that there are some interests.....I can't believe it's just down the road from me and I can't make it because of the CAT course

I'm not a watch collector in any shape or form but as an engineer, I definitely respect the detail and complexity of them, came across this video that I saw and thought of this thread so thought I'd share it: There's more vids of this on their channel.

Pleased that you had a good time here mate, real shame I couldn't make it but I'll try my best for next time.

I thought it was you, yes mate, was visiting some friends this weekend. Your car was looking good too mate, I was surprised how low you were even when driving, I thought maybe you'd be that low while stationary but would raise the car while driving.
-
Nice, did drive past you today near Bradford?
-
Awesome mate, can't wait to see it in the flesh!

Please tell me this is not true [emoji22] -
Congrats! The green gunk is protection while the car is travelling over seas, some have cleaned them off, some haven't.

I'm with daidaiiro on this, I often don't feel like the car needs any more and I enjoy rev'ing it but every so often I do feel like it needs just a lil bit extra. I've briefly driven most of what's currently out there at the moment, Avo, TD, Sprintex and HKS, not driven or been in a Cosworth, Harrop or Vortex yet but so far from what I can remember, they didn't feel overly different from each other, there were minor differences like when the power would kick in etc but I'd personally need a lot longer period of time to really feel the differences between these systems (which is a big ask) and I'm sure I would get used to the way any of the systems would deliver the power or feel quite easily so I'm very much stuck on not being able to choose which system.

Congrats and welcome to the club. Any plans for the car? Mods? Trackdays? Car Shows? There are a couple of threads about the 2nd gear issue and some people have had luck with adjustments and oil changes but can't remember exactly the details but would also recommend the positive shift mount that Lauren mentioned. @KevinA - I've not noticed any extra noise but you can feel a lil extra vibration through the gear stick if you tend to leave your hand on it while driving.

Congrats and welcome to the club! Hope you can join us on some events/shows this year....or maybe even the odd trackday if you're keen for that type of stuff.

Something that has always been on the lower end of my mod list as I agree it is pretty weak and pathetic.

Have you thought about Hydro Dipping? I've just had all my interior panels done, I paid £90 for a company to do it, but you can get the DIY kits online. I have, but not really looked into it yet. That's pretty cheap, I'm sure I heard someone getting quoted around £300odd for all the interior bits.

Yeah, I've been using a heat gun, it would stay down for a couple of days but then it would eventually start lifting up in the internal corners, even with a similar length wrapped around the back too.
