Can't fault what everyone else has said thus far, hope you get them all sorted. I've on the very rare occasion have had a stuttery start and even more so if you stall or mess up the start up process (lift off the clutch too soon a couple of times) but it's never truly failed to start in over 3 years, and I'm still on the old car battery. If the beep you get is just the one or two then it's the battery if it's a continous beep until you close the door again, it's because there's a rubber spring switch on the door pillar near your seat belt that isn't pressed in while you turn the car off, no idea why it should beep but it does if the door is open while you turn the car off.

Whats is the driven by limit at Bedford?
-
Does look nice, wonder if it'll do better than the RCF.
-
Yeah, it's normal, though my rears are taking a lil longer to clear than I remember....mind you they need a proper clean and sealing to be fair.

I do sometimes wish that I didn't just go the JBL route, it's convinent especially for someone who hasn't a clue about in car audio but I'm sure I would have enjoyed fitting all the bits etc, but I would need someone to tell me what I'd need....ah well....there's always next time [emoji14]

You already know this but I'm in the same boat, though I've got a Berk HFC which according to Jay, won't pass an MOT test when you have a catless manigold, unless you get the car really really hot just before the test Are there many manifold with HFC in them?

But to be fair Will, you don't seem to sleep either way, unless you've got your own pillow and toilet roll [emoji13]

Well I've got a new machine now which is a lot quieter and more powerful.....I'll record my self and see if I still make a racket
-
Thanks for the offer dude but before I accept, I give you fair warning that I wear a sleeping mask to sleep in case you think I'm into kinky Bane/Darth Vader stuff....and it makes a bit of noise so if you're a light sleeper, I'm probably not the best person to share with, if you're fine with all that then I'd happily accept you're offer.

Welcome to the club and look forward to meeting you at Bedford!

Is she trying to kill me... Tracking and tyres
Keethos replied to Bail's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
I've never had winter tyres before but I'd imagine they have a fair amount of rubber on them which as nerdstrike has mentioned could be giving you that weird wobbly twitchy feeling unless you fully load them when cornering hard. I had a bit of this when I had some fresh new conti's put on but wouldn't say it ever felt out of hand or like the car wanted to spin out all of a sudden. -
Anyone with a spare room or should I just book my own?
-
Can you even get 5.1 music? I was under the impression that only games and movies have 5.1/7.1
-
Glad you got it sorted Lauren, I take it there's no real harm to the engine when it couldn't pick up any fuel?

GT86 Turbo Kit & BRZ Turbo Kit from Tuning Developments

Cool no worries Mike, I was thinking about popping in but I thought Wrexham was a lil closer as I'm there for a couple of days next week. -
Unexpected things you Disike about the GT86
Keethos replied to remal's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
That's not the headlight leveler, it's the interior brightness light, dims or brightens the dash lights etc. The headlight levels itself using a rod and the rear control arm -
Hmmmmm, that's a nice list......I'm wanting to get a new steering wheel for the car as well but looking to get it re-trimmed....and maybe some other interior bits in alcantara....but been soooooo lazy this xmas that I've not even looked into it yet.....I've pretty much just hibernated this holiday period......

Very nice, can't wait to have another go! -
Welcome to the club, hope your search brings you a goodun. Don't worry about what Lauren said regarding cold gears, that issue only really occurs on manuals, since you are looking at Autos, I don't believe there to be any gear box issues on the Autos unless you wanted a serious amount of power added to the car. Check in wet weather for the rear lights getting condensation in them and once warm, listen for loud cricket noises, these issues are all covered under warranty and I believe there to be a bulletin for them. Any plans for mods? Car Shows? Trackdays?

I was close to getting one of these but decided to get a mobius action cam instead, interested to see how the footage comes out like, what resolutions, frame rates and other setting does that have?

Unexpected things you Disike about the GT86
Keethos replied to remal's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Is that because you accidentally twisted the light switch or are you saying the lights actually cut out? -
Amber have done a lot with the Ford's, they've done a lot with the Fiesta's and Focus' so intrigued to know what they'll do with the Stang. My mate who had a Focus RS had a boat load of things done to his RS by the Amber lot.
