Same to you Mike and Nick! Hopefully see you boys around in the new year sometime! -
Drives really nicely on old school big tyres...

Doesn't look too bad, need some massive rally style mid guards instead though [emoji14] -
No sadly not, though the game teases you with the idea of it. See, I really like the Aimgain one (the Lexus looking one) the most....except for the stupid extended exhaust tips....for some reason those are fixed in the game and doesn't allow you to change them with that kit on

Managed to get a code for NFS off a friend as I was keen to see what you could do to the 86/BRZ in this game. Overall it's a very nice looking game but I'm not overly convinced on the handling, it's supposed to be really easy to drift and stuff which it often is but a lot of the time it falls over big time when it stops you from steering as it tries to straighten you up when you come out of a drift, but you still need to steer away from face planting a wall. With the mods and customisation tools within NFS, I thought I'd make a lil video to show the journey of my 86 from brand new stock, to crash, to continued mods, to repair, more mods and what I could potentially do with her.....or even what I should have done as they have some awesome body kits in the game that I was seriously considering when repairing my car. It's just such a shame that there's no day cycle to get better lighting in the game, the only decent lighting is within the garage but then the car's always repaired when it's in there.....and I need to tell my crash story Here's reference to the look I was after

There's been various talks about brakes in this club and I don't recall anyone really mentioning anythings about making any decisions based on the weight saving from going aftermarket. I can't remember if I mentioned that I know I've saved some weight as the box I gave RRG with the K Sport 330mm front BBK was a lot light than the same box filled with the stock front brakes in but never actually measured the weight of them. But it was never important for me, just a nice bonus. I think the general concensus on here is that the stock calipers are pretty good but the pads could be better and the only reason to go BBK is either for show (which is primarily why I got them) or for lots of track use. So people on here have gone FI while staying stock calipers but just getting some better pads and discs.

An official welcome to the club is in order then! WELCOME!!!!

Nope, wished ours did and have only ever seen them on the FR-S, didn't know the Korean market had them too.

Congrats dude, nice to see you held out for a good one!

LOL, for a second I thought all the.......and then the "you know" was referring to adjusting something a lil more sensitive

It'll all be about how well you set off and changing gears at the right time as quickly as possible etc so I can see there's ways to improve....but why....no idea, it's not something I'd want to do all day but would give it a go as a laugh. As for Nascar, I wouldn't say this was like it, I don't follow Nascar but I can appreciate the finer details of racing around in a circle, the speeds, slip streaming, the rubbing (oooeeer) etc....ok I admit, not the most entertaining to watch but I'm sure it's a hell of an experience.

Awesome stuff dude, now get out there and drive it some more [emoji12]

I'm booked too......can't believe they've upped the price

Would love to join in but if it's the Easter weekend (i.e. Friday 25th till the 27th) then I won't be able to make it, stag do in Hamburg but if it's the start of the following week, it would be great for me as I'll be half way there.

Welcome to the club and nice find!

Looks awesome mate and very nice pics!

Cool, let us know if this needs reopening for whatever reason.

The RA Motorsport one was always interesting but definielty not my choice of colour....to....candy/glittery like. As for the red one, do like the red but the carbon fibre bits just don't work, namely the doors and the front fenders, it only works if you design some decals to go with it or paint them.

Nooooooo, you know my thoughts Jeff, but can't argue about the investment side, my brother in laws father in law (if that makes sense) has an old school Porsche (can't actually remember which) brought it for about £13k 5 or 6 years ago and is now worth £35k or something along those lines....but still....don't do it! You won't be able to enjoy it, sprint it, track it like you do the 86, and maybe not hold its value as much if you do?

Unexpected things you Disike about the GT86
Keethos replied to remal's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
I probably need some hydrophobic products on my rear window cos they don't clear that quickly for me, fair enough you may not need to see behind you while you are stationary but the other day I was moving slowly (not fast enough to for the water to run off) and I also had rain on my side mirrors too so either way, couldn't really see behind me, even with the heaters on. Not really moaning about it but it's still not great. There's no need to rant about people wanting rear wipers though, there are those who feel more comfortable when driving if they can get clear vision all round, and if rear wipers can offer them that then great. There will always be a situation where every single one of us would use them if they were there but I agree, that may only be a small percentage of the time. -
Lol, sorry Lauren, only just read your message, thanks for the offer but got there in the end, the weather was terrible! Looks like a good turnout, sorry again boys.

Lol, you didn't make it as well? I was absolutely shattered this morning so decided to stay in bed instead as I've got a nice long drive up to Blackburn shortly
