Unexpected things you Disike about the GT86
Keethos replied to remal's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Not while you're stationary it doesn't. Don't know if this counts but not happy that the Americans get the same pull cord in the boot to lower the rear seats from the boot, would have come in handy at times. Then again it might be trouble some if my victims knew about it [emoji16] -
Cool, I'll close this then but if it needs reopening or anything, just let us know.

So people aiming to get there for 9am then?

Unexpected things you Disike about the GT86

When we say smooth, are we talking joltie sometimes when setting off? As if you suddenly gave it a lil too much gas, jolt forwards which make your foot give a bit more gas again and jolt again? -
This a normal track day rather than a sprint? Think I'll get my name down
-
But probably good enough to let Mark know roughly how far out his might be.....that's the point of this exercise isn't it?
-
Wow, I had no idea that you were making so many of your own bits, even more awesome work!

I could be wrong in this but I don't think Lauren's opinion is against the build of cars etc, all petrol heads can appreciate the effort and passion of building a car themselves, what she might be querying more specifically is why a Yaris and I'm kind of the same. Don't get me wrong, love what you're doing Pitman but with the amount of money you're spending, I personally would have brought another 86 to do all this to. Fair enough I can understand having something different/unique or maybe because you already have an 86 and wanted something different but I love the 86 so much that I'd love to have 2, one mega race car build and one fancy show street car build.....but alas that's just a dream as I can't afford any of this

Sounds like a good laugh, I'm up for it

Congrats and welcome to the club! Glad you are enjoying the car after coming from a Lotus. Will you be doing any track days? We've actually joined the Lotus on Track boys on some of their events this year and hope to do the same next year which is always fun and not as busy as a typical track day, plus it's cheaper too. As for the primacys, you might be surprised on how long they'll last, proper hard wearing, I've witnessed Lauren spend a whole afternoon drifting her car around Anglesey and had lost hardly any tread....though I have heard some people wearing them down quite quickly which is surprising.

Nice lil meet today, sorry to cut it short. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, absolute bargain, can't believe I've never had a Toby Carvery breakfast before, shame it was so early and so cold....need more sleep [emoji42]

Awesome work Lauren, glad you enjoyed yourself, looking forward to seeing the footage. Were you driving yourself between stages or were you driven around with the camera crew etc?
-
Awesome stuff Dave, hope to see it in action soon!

[emoji47] so are you going to keep it or are you trading it in? -
I might be able to make this now as I won't already be up north but do need to head up to Blackburn afterwards.

We've been the last 2 or 3 times I think, starting to get a bit same old same old but it's always nice meeting up with fellow club members and pouring over nice motors, I'm sure we can organise something.

Thanks Google [emoji14]

To be fair, the rear of the Fiat is nicer than the MX5 though, really not a fan of the MX5's rear
-
What about the Abarth version?
-
Lol, I was about to say it looked a bit dodge like, but not in a good way, much prefer the MX5 front but I really like the Abarth, both front and rear look awesome! Amy specs?
-
Awesome, another fellow Mildander, welcome to the club! There's a meet this Saturday if you are interested. Check out the social meets section.

Awesome stuff Lauren, looking forward to it

Lol, how is that strategic, this is probably more strategic, I'm adding the first 8 guesses together and averaging them so 320.4 whp [emoji14]
