Congrats and welcome to the club. What plans have you got for the car? Mods? Trackdays? Car Shows?
-
Oooooo those look good, BBS?
-
So what do I win? [emoji16] The slotted holes made it look like a speaker hence reversing sensor.
-
Welcome to the club, could it be to your reversing sensors?
-
Welcome to the club, most people on here run 17" wheels, some 18" and only a couple of 16". Don't think it makes much difference on the diameter of the wheel besides the price of them and possibly availability. The only advantage of going 16" is possibly going narrower which can help but with handling in snow but I wouldn't about it.

ark grip for resonated milltek or uel?
Keethos replied to Dan7954's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
I'm pretty sure the Ark hangs pretty low, I've driven behind and seen his car parked up before and have always though it hung low so you might struggle Deacon. Sorry Dan. -
There's a thread somewhere with discussions of tyres, I'm currently using a mix of Yoko v105 and Conti 5's (because the rears wore so quickly, changed to the Yoko's but just on the front and put the remaining Conti's on the rear). Trying to get another pair of Yoko's but there's a shortage at the moment so can't comment on who good they are all round but I've heard good things. Otherwise, the Michelin Pilot Sports seem quite popular. Don't know how good they are first hand or how they wear.

Welcome to the club Chris and nice list of mods there. Don't really know much about the TWS' but if they are lighter than the stock 17's even at 18" then bonus, but unless you spend silly money, you'd normally struggle to get massive savings there. To be fair, with the mods you got on there so far, doubt you'd notice much difference but I could be wrong. What proper advice I could give you though is that even though the Conti's are really good in the dry and especially in the wet, I have found mine wore really quickly on the rears, mine only lasted about 7 months which was less than 10,000 miles I believe, it's been a while so can't remember exactly but they really didn't last that long at all on the rears, though the fronts still had plenty of tread on them and this was on stock size while some performance mods but still NA.

Next Car Game Mini Meet - Southam Midlands - 30th Aug
Keethos replied to Keethos's topic in Social Meets
Awesome pics Steeps, I've been really lazy with taking pics recently. Was a rather nice lil turnout to be fair, some interesting motors there, a rather nice white Celiac TRD there. My mate who part organised this will be organising a proper show in the near future over at Rockingham again, yes the same fella who organised Carnival but it was literally just him that time, everyone else involved just made a hash of everything so he was left putting out fires and organising everything. This time he's for a better group of mates to help organise this Next Car Game group so will keep everyone posted about when that is. -
Hey all, A friend of mine is trying to start up his own car event call the Next Car Game and he's starting the ball rolling with a mini meet on Sunday 30th Aug (it's an evening meet around 7pm onwards). The meet will take place at Tesco's in Southam (he's making this as legit as possible so has permission from Tesco's as well as notifying the authorities etc) and there's already 183 people who have said that they are going so far, fair enough a fair amount probably won't turn up but should still be a decent turn out. More details available here on the Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/events/1476730772637458/1485424241768111/ This should be a good lil meet for us 86/BRZ Midlanders to attend and meet up. Since there's the event at Curborough the next day (bank holiday Monday), thought this would nice for those staying near by to keep themselves entertained during the evening before. Let me know who's interested.

Welcome to the club, looking foward to what you've done on the 3rd.
-
Lol in what way would people think that it was a Vauxhall?
-
Congrats! Looks very nice. Probably a bit challenging but any chance of some pics where you can see the actual wheels more clearly?
-
How fast were you going and didn't that put a lot of stress all the way down the exhaust system? Are all the other brackets etc ok further down the exhaust system ok?
-
Wow, you actually going to do anything to the fuel tank in that state?
-
Good work, currently playing at lot of Destiny too but I'm on PS4, not actually got round to getting an Xbone yet Might have to get my ass in gear for Forza.
-
Agree with Smudge, suprised they would offer such a random deal, wonder how much the OEMs are compared to full coilovers but good work!
-
Yeah but to be fair, that fell was just being stupid, pushing the car way too hard too soon, even after strict instructions from the Mrs not to go on track with it as it's was due to be sold for a deposit for their house.
-
Quite a few people have had a bit of weeping back there, I've not actually checked on mine to be fair but I know Deacon has had it for example I believe.
-
Yeah, kudos to Jeff for organising this and thanks to Lauren for letting me ride along on your last run, shame it dried up a bit but it was still fun still with some slidie action going on. Also great to meet some new faces, hope to see Kev and Dan at some other meets in the near future.
