Congrats and welcome to the club! Head unit is a doddle to fit and same with a camera if you have one that connects to your heard unit (the boot trim should have an outline where you can cut out for a camera to be fitted, the most difficult be was threading the cable through the rubber flex pipe from the boot lid into the boot area. As for the condensation, not seen the front like fog up but the rears are common because they are over tightened and the gasket gets squashed and doesn't seal properly because of it, not sure if this applies to your front DRLs though.

I test drove the 1.5l version with Will and didn't think it was all that, definitely not as pin point as the 86 (more roll, less feel through the steering wheel, ran out of steam quickly and etc.) but it was fun to drive around with the top down

That is shocking, dare I say it but plaster this all over social media and see if they'll do anything then, I heard stories of people complaining on social media then getting resolved rather quickly.

Yeah, there's a lot of panic regarding these new laws but they're not really new, they've just adjusted the penalties, the question is if they are able to enforce them more. Luckily with Waze, once you set your destination, there's very little interaction, most commands have a timed default. One of the key features is reporting accidents, traffic etc. which again can all be done by voice too so no really need to worry personally (note, you can start voice command by waving your hand past the light sensor next to your ear piece so again, no touching of the phone).

ha jebus, Lauren's guna love you at JAE

Looking forward to it, I sit kinda in-between Lauren and Jordan, there were things in the previous series that weren't great and others that were, the Top Gear extras were the best bits and they were typically without Evans. The thing is, Evans did a lot to ruin the show without him being seen if that makes sense, when he was on screen he was pretty poor (bar the Ferrari piece) but even off screen, you could tell that he was causing issues for the other guys and ruining the whole chemistry bit which seems to be the big factor in producing a good show. Didn't really mind the whole off roading part of the reasonably priced car bit but it was pretty pointless and made the times irrelevant....really looking forward to the celebs in the 86 though! As for the Grand Tour, again a mixed bag, plenty wrong with it but at the same time, with the bigger budget and less restrictions, it was nice to see what those three idiots could get up to which can be funny but I do find that they try a lil too hard and failing miserably.

Nice, did they come that colour or did you paint them?

Is the smearing of pad compound visible? When I was at Oulton, I started to get a little bit of judder through the pedal at the start of a session, but as the session continued, the who car started to judder. Then after a cooling down, back on track and repeats, started off light and got progressively aggressive. Once the track started to dry out, I was on the brakes a bit harder which meant a lot less juddering...to the point that I could tell if it was the same juddering or just normal vibrations at that point.....any ideas?

I always have my Halfords Pro Toolbox in the boot along with an electric pump and tyre pressure gauge so naturally they go with me to the track. Not only that but within the boot is the usual standard Jack, Toe Hook (important for track) etc. If there are no garages or spare cars to store your things with, a pop-up tent is very useful thing to bring as it'll keep your things dry if it rains. Obviously remove any loose items from the car, dash cams must be securely fixed (suction mounts aren't secure enough, they'd need a cable tie around them and attached to the rear view mirror or something), cover up your body (i.e. long sleeves, long trousers etc.), suitable footwear and obviously helmet if you have one. Other bits and bobs are a bonus but you may find other people will rock up with bits and bobs and people are usually nice to enough to help others out where need be!

Welcome to the club! Done much to the car or with the car at all? Sent from my EDI-AL10 using Tapatalk

Sadly I haven't found anywhere decent, Morris were asking for about £300 per round a year or two back which is about double what they charge for track day cover. But they do have a no claims bonus like scheme. Sent from my EDI-AL10 using Tapatalk

They both look alright, at which point, whichever method would be easier? Not a fan of the 3rd one though. Sent from my EDI-AL10 using Tapatalk

Mike has included in my map 3 a dulled down throttle response which makes it a lot less on and off so it is do able, but I'm trying to train myself and get used to a more sensitive throttle to better ones heavy foot

LOL, yeah there was a bit of a steep learning curve but I found it very satisfying when you finally get used to your character and start to really think about how you should fight your enemy etc. Also found the Dominion to work really well, very intense and never felt too one sided, always very very close, even though it's a simple game mode of holding control points for the longest time, but if the other team captures a control point, you actually lose points so you can usually bring it back if you play the mode properly.

Also worth noting that Litchfield don't seem overly keen on working on our platforms anymore since they have a garage full of Beemers and GTRs to work on. I've heard lots more bad stories by disgruntled Litchfield customers than happy customers. But there's plenty of other FI options out there. Wasn't GPRM offering the Rotrex SC or was it a Vortex SC???
