Not that I can think of, just the cranks case cover I believe but I could be wrong.

Not too sure if there'll be any problems having the left and right the wrong way round but in terms of rotating the top mounts so the camber adjustment is perfectly horizontal isn't 100% necessary, mine were deliberately installed at an angle to allow a bit of caster and camber adjustment. Obviously if you don't really want any caster adjustment then have them horizontal like others have mentioned above so you are purely adjusting the camber only.

Sorry to hear this dude, it's definitely something I'd fight. Like you said, it should have been a very easy/straightforward job. Did they explain why they were taking so long? I would have kicked off earlier if they had taken that long for no reason. Which garage was this exactly?

I'm on the case. ...assuming we're allowed them.

I believe Kev's issue is due to the face that the front wheels don't move while the rears are continously spinning, this makes the car think there's something wrong with the traction control or something hence why the errors appear but like Kev mentioned, after a short drive it realises there's nothing wrong and goes off. I'm assuming the OP didn't do the same thing but if it was the same issue l, maybe it was a glitch of some sort.

Sorry to hear this but it's a first that I've heard of such a problem and to be fair, doesn't matter which car company it is, there will always be problems, wouldn't instantly tarnish Japanese cars altogether though.

Lol, it's all good, plenty of banter about within the club.

Next Car Game Mini Meet - Southam Midlands - 30th Aug
Keethos replied to Keethos's topic in Social Meets
No probs dude! -
Thanks Chris, and sorry about that, I only read through most of it, missed out the small print, but surely something that can be pretty important for most of our enthusiasts is information regarding mods, shouldn't something like that be mentioned in the main body of text rather than just in the small print?

No word yet Mike but if need be, I can sort you out with some feed from my folks takeaway if you wish. FYI, the time has been moved forward an hour so 6pm start. -
There's a Macies down the road, fancy meeting up there for breakfast? What time we need to be there?
-
Cheers dude, I've seen the knee bits removed but never managed to do it since I couldn't get the bloomin push start panel out.

Unexpected things you like about the GT86
Keethos replied to Nicebiscuit's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Suprised how little adjustment yet perfect the seating position is. Do agree with everything you've mentioned, especially the bottle holder in the door. -
Welcome to the club Nick, just a quick question, is Chris Knotts mod friendly? And limitations etc?
-
Just a note, the Rally event at Oulton Park is actually just on their skid/lower friction circuit I believe, not actually off road Rallying, no idea about Brands though.

So anyone else fancy meeting up at this? Think Faith has said she was going on the Facebook page but on here yet. -
Yeah, it was the Megane R26 which even had plastic windows. What about this Jordan? I've been contemplating getting these, my body was built for the stock seats but my I'm always holding leaning on the sides of the centre console and inner door when cornering: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-86-GT86-TRD-Center-Console-Knee-Pad-Door-Knee-Pad-set-PADS-RHD-only-/171280065824?hash=item27e1166520 Also, I had to look up Submarining and I'm sure what I read isn't what Lauren meant....something along the lines of motor boating but in the nether regions [emoji38] What I think Lauren meant was that 5 or 6 point harness will prevent you from sliding under the harness.

Android Auto DAB head unit - Pioneer AVIC-F70DAB?
Keethos replied to Quickclicknick's topic in ICE/Electrical
I vaguely remember reading that the head units are DAB ready but like you said, needs the DAB module which I believe has a separate aerial rather than using the car's current aerial but I could be wrong. -
Special K was mentioning at Rob's BBQ that we should do a club Euro trip and plan it so everyone can join in while being able to split off at any point (for those who can't get enough time off work for example), while trying to meet up with more of our European members, maybe even try, possibly even getting Toyota involved and get sponsorship or something....but I think Keith's main plan was to end up in Malta to meet up with iddrew again to try and at least double to population of 86/BRZ's there [emoji16]

I'm hoping now that I've got my car sorted, I can now start to save for a big Euro trip since I missed my chance last year. I was supposed to drive down to the south of France for a wedding, then pick up mate to venture over to Switzerland, Germany and then back home again. But alas the fateful Lydden event happened and was not able to do my trip so will be silly keen to do it next year assuming I've saved up enough money.

That maybe true in your case but not in mine, almost a whole degree out which meant I needed camber bushes and same could apply to the OP as well. He'll just have to get them fitted and setup to see if he needs more camber or not.
-
You'll only need camber bolts if you want more camber or to equalise the setup, as you can see from knightryder's setup, his wasn't even and to be fair, neither were mine but mine was worse, my rears were -0.57deg Left and -1.55deg Right so when I had my coilovers fitted, I had to get some camber bolts and bushes to even them out and to push them as far as I could which was only -1.75deg on one side so had to make the other side match which could have gone further. I'm not the only one who's experienced this, Kristov I believe also had odd camber and couldn't get one side further than a certain amount of camber where as the other side could go further. Luckily I got mine setup at Fensport who could also supply the bits while I was there if need be.

Don't knock it till you try it, you never know!

I'd love to give rallying a go in general but I'd LOVE to do it in an 86. Could it be that the electric steering system isn't up to scratch from all the abuse of off road unlike drifters on smooth tarmac? Did the Evos, Scoobies, Quattros etc come from rally cars? I thought you could only make it a rally car if they were a production car or something?
