Since I cut my own hair....does that make me an 86 hairdresser?
-
Looks nice Lauren, would changing your suspension for coilovers and adjusting the wheel alignment help stop the wheel from rubbing?

Well we can meet up before hand for some food if you wish, then pop on over for a gander/meet/chat, then if you are tired, you could leave early. -

Yeah, to my understanding is when they organise proper big events, there will be games/competitions etc at the event but I'm not 100% sure, still early days for them. -
Rob's right, they will fit fine, the light are different but they are the same around the outside edge, just the innards and inner edge with the bumper I believe that is different.

Edelbrock SC kit Fa20 powered by Eaton 1320 TVS

Is this system cheaper than the Cosworth system? -
Again, they are good grip etc but maybe I've been letting the back end out a lil too much [emoji12]

RRG Maccs seem to get the V105's fine I think, like Jamie, I'll be having another pair on next month. Just to add my 2 pence on the Conti's, they're a great but they wear pretty quick on the rears, mine lasted about 7 months (just shy of 10k miles I think it was).

Sadly I'm with Sam, I too would want a nice loud whine if I was to go Supercharged, even though this kit looks nice....the question would be could I change the red bits for yellow? -
Congrats and Welcome to the club!

Congrats and welcome to the club.

The bonnet hinges would sit in front of the vents but there'll be space around it for the air to travel around. Would it not be easier to cut if you to actually take the wings off?
-
Welcome to the club Tom and it was good chatting to you at Japfest!

https://youtu.be/BLtw2z_mZ6w This seems to compliment Deacon's comments, the MX5 is fun and great flowing (and sadly quicker) than the 86/BRZ but the 86/BRZ still feels a lot more precise etc.

Probably along the M6 then A14 I think, so can swing by on the way back.... you actually guna be home by then? If not, I'll just post them through your letter box mate!

No probs but "When will I see yoooou aaaagain?"

I'm with you Dan, the front grill is a lil off to me, maybe a lil too oval....but I reckon I could rock that kit as I'm not that far off already

I still have a big bag full after buying a load off ebay (couldn't just get a couple). My dealer promised to get some for me but couldn't in the end which was ridiculous, something as simple and cheap as plastic push pins should be readily available or easy to get hold of for a customer who's buying a brand new car off them....

The red 86's are none metallic and are just a solid red so the innards are a similar red where as all the other cars are metallic or pearl but the innards are only sprayed in the base colour, no pearl, metallic or even clear coat. But anyhoooo, congrats and the new blue does look good, looking forward to seeing it in the flesh!!!

Thanks cos it's just covered in bits of plastic

Isn't hydro dipping a form of paint anyways which requires sanding, prep'ing, dipping and then lacquering which means you couldn't really revert back to stock?

GT86 Turbo Kit & BRZ Turbo Kit from Tuning Developments
Keethos replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
As Lauren said, nice to see you back on the forum Mike and shame we missed you last Japfest as we saw your car but not yourselves, hopefully see you this Sunday at Japfest 2. Looking forward to having a go in this bad boy, interested in how it feels and sounds......am I right in assuming that since it has an external waste gate, the car can have a nice loud dump valve? -
Lol, great minds think alike. Unless you've got a mod friendly dealership, I'd take it to Mark at Abbey since you've got the Sprintex on there.
