Check out my original thread for more details http://gt86.org.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/1413-Mobius-Dashcam---1080p-@-30fps---Cheap-Yet-Excellent

If you want something cheaper, more discreet then I would recommend a mobius action cam, it doesn't have all the fancy GPS, built in wifi or even a built in screen but it produces great quality footage @ 720p & 1080p and is the perfect fit and forget dash cam. On costs about £50 for the camera, mount, extra long cable and a 32gb memory card (all purchased separately through ebay).

Awesome stuff Dan, I graduated back in 2008 I think (it's been so long now [emoji14]) so don't know a Dominic Lines. Looking forward to seeing which mods you get!

An official welcome to the club! You guna let slip what mods you're after or are you guna suprised us? How do you go abouts claiming diminution in value of the car? Wish I took part in our formula student at Huddersfield Uni but it was only for students doing their masters degree and I decided I couldn't be arsed to do a masters there. Which uni did you go to?

Welcome to the club, not much to add really to what others have said but I'm very suprised that their site only mentions 3 colours when there are definielty more...maybe they're just not available at the moment due to low numbers? The steering wheels have not buttons so no additional functions, the cruise control is on a stalk on the base of the wheel, the question is if there are any connections for you to connect a steering wheel with controls on.

Congrats and welcome to the club. What was wrong with the TVR? They're one of those cars that I'd like to own at some point in my life. What spec you getting and any plans for the car at all? Mods, trackdays, shows etc?

Wow, I can't believe Keith is doing so much/spending so much time with someone in another country that he's only spoken to a couple of times on a forum, I love this club!

Tein Streetflex - installation and spring rate question
Keethos replied to 86alex's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
That's quiet pricey, a pair of springs for the HSD's are only £30/40......would the Teins need re-valving if he drops spring rate? -

Tein Streetflex - installation and spring rate question
Keethos replied to 86alex's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
People are only changing them as they believe 7/7 might be too stiff for them but you ultimately need to test it out and see yourself if you think they're too stiff or not. I'm running 9/7 on my HSD's and I'd definitely say they're stiff but not unbariable for me coming from a Clio Cup. The only real downside that I'm worried about is if the suspension is too stiff, the car might become a bit skittish when travelling over rough surfaces and you don't want that when cornering hard. I've yet to experience this but I've yet to truly push the car around a track since I've had them fitted. I may consider getting softer springs at some point but that will mean taking them off swapping the springs out which ultimately means losing my current setup so they'd need a full geo alignment and adjustment again so not in a rush to do that, plus I might need them re-valving which probably won't be cheap so will see. I'm a complete noob with the mechanical side of cars but I managed to swap the rears out by myself but it did take a couple of hours, the fronts I failed on purely because I couldn't undo the drop link bolts which had seized on and because it was getting late, gave up as I didn't have anything to help get them of with like penetrating fluid and wire brush etc. Your not toooo far from RRG so I'm sure they'd sort you out, plus they've fitted a couple now I think (I know they will do soon anyways) and that includes the EDFC wiring. Not only that but they've got the fancy Hunter Wheel Alignment kit which means they can setup your suspension no probs. -
more people selling up....why the sale? Could you specify a rough price rather than just asking for offers, saves you from getting silly offers.

I understood oil surge, just couldn't picture how this stops it, but after looking over at the owners side where Mark (I think it was) posted up a pic of the instructions, then it clicked how this thing works, for some reason I was picturing narrowing the area of oil or stopping it from moving to the sides too much but I've realised that it keeps the oil down.
-
Don't actually know anyone who's had their maps but they do a lot with starlets etc, they've developed a turbocharger and their own exhaust system and they have a rolling road. They're a nice bunch of Lads but can't really comment on their work.
-
Well that's what I thought as well Jay, that a supercharger for low down gain and Turbo for the top end but I'm sure I've heard and read that it's the other way round for the Sprintex and Avo as I believe the Avo turbo is considered as a small turbo? Is that right?
-
So these are to help minimise oil surge, not necessarily eliminate oil surge is that correct? How exactly does it work Mark? How much would you charge to fit Mark?
