Awesome stuff Will! Anyone staying the night before? -
I've had all my badges painted black along with the boot so you can sometimes see the badges, sometimes you can't, best of both worlds. Plasti dip is a good option Mr Biscuit, it's easy to apply and peals off if you don't like it.

That's them, RA Motorsports

Tuning Development are up north in Warrington who can do exhausts and remaps etc but they've been rather quiet lately. Who's the tuning company in Scotland area with the candy purple 86 that was at autosport show and whom are a supplier of the Cosworth stuff?

Welcome to the club James and congrats on the purchase. As for getting work done by Litchfield, you'll find that the biggest issue is actually getting hold of them or to actually get them to do the work, I've heard a few people having had problems either getting hold of them or them just not interested in doing the work for whatever reason. It does seem like they have plenty of big money projects working on GTR's and BMW's that they don't need or have the time for less expensive cars like the 86/BRZ. They've even sold their demo car and I've not seen them get another to show off what they can do or to even develop their stuff further, unlike Fensport or Abbey Motorsport who are constantly developing, tweaking and improving what they can out of the 86/BRZ. But if you are determined to go the Litchfield route, I've heard their handling pack is pretty good and you can't go wrong with a K&N Air filter (but you can't go wrong with other filters like HKS etc either). What I would be worried about is the performance pack: A ) You'll have a Milltek exhaust which some have experience cracks already, we even have Lauren who's on her 2nd (or was it 3rd?) set. Fair enough they may have sold quite a few and only a handful of people (I believe) have experienced this problem, but if you get them to fit a flex pipe, it might prevent this from happening altogether. B ) I've seen and heard of people who'd have their performance pack fitted and produced either less power or hardly any gains compared to some of those who are stock. I believe Litchfield blamed it on bad fuel and need to get the car remapped again but who knows, what are the chances of 2 (I believe) getting their car dyno'd on the same dyno (though on different dates) which both produced either less or hardly any gains compared to someone who was completely stock bar a drop in air filter? I'd personally went else where, even though Litchfield would have been closer, I still travelled 2 hours to Abbey for my Cobra exhaust and 2 hours to Fensport for my remap etc. Either way, please keep us updated with what you decide.

Yeah, ah well, it's all good, once I eventually get new wheels, I'll see if it needs lowering anymore.
-
And here's me thinking that I was 30mm lower, turns out I'm 25mm at the front and only 20mm at the back [emoji44]

Just a thought, your boss didn't supply an i8 on Friday for a photo shoot did he?

Welcome to the Club! Glad another local can join us midlanders, Will300 and I were actually in Stratford today trying to avoid hitting people as we searched for the Shell garage. Looking forward to seeing you list of mods etc.!

I thought it was just the extra bits in the boot but it still looked a hell of a lot lower than mine and I'm 30mm, you going to keep it that low?

Reverse Camera Plug and Play Kit - £75
Keethos replied to GT86Jay's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Dude, please don't leave over this bad experience, there's still plenty of us who enjoy your company and your input in the community. Now I can understand those who don't know Jay to assume the worse and that he's trying to pull the wool over your eyes but I've known Jay for a couple of years now and he is a real genuine sound guy who is always willing to help those out. As he has mentioned before, he went out of his way to help make some camera kits for the community to use since for some strange reason Toyota still refuse to fit one from factory. These few suddenly blew way out of hand for him so it's not suprising some have gone missing or some bad communication developed. I can understand the frustration this may cause you, especially when you aren't being told what's going on but like Jay has mentioned, besides being banned and not being able to respond, you must understand how dismotivating being hownded and verbally abused can make someone what to just shut themselves away and not want to visit these forums anymore. I've definielty seen how Jay hasn't been as proactive on the forum as of late, and I'm sure it's partially down to this issue as well as other persoanl/family issues. All I ask is for those still waiting to be just a little more patient and persistent with trying to contact and regain communications with Jay to sort out your cameras.- 145 replies

Depends on how much camber etc you want for your setup, as stock, my rears were -0.5deg & -1.5deg camber but when I fitted my coilovers, I also got some camber bolts to get these two evened out to -1.75deg with the help of SuperPro camber bushes.....I think that what was the maximum I could adjust one side to so the bushes only offered me about 1.25deg adjustment roughly. So now I'm running -2deg Front, -1.75deg Rear, Tow - 0deg Front, -1.5deg Rear with a bit of positive castor at the fronts courtesy of Fensport.

The only fight I can think of is with a bird that came out of no where and hit the top of my windscreen and just bounced up and disappeared, didn't get a cloud of feathers or anything so hopefully it just boosted the bird upwards for its continued flight. However my mate did tell me a quite detailed story of what he witnessed one time. Out in the courty lanes, a rabbit on the road as you'd expect and both lanes of traffic actually stopped to let the rabbit pass. In one direction a couple of cars back was my mate, and in the opposite direction was a big 4x4. The rabbit was in front of the 4x4 and was hopping along as normal but all of a sudden stopped, sadly the 4x4 driver could not see where the rabbit was. Assuming the rabbit had just carried on hopping, he slowly crept forwards...only to very slowly crush the rabbit under its wheel as the bugger just happened to stop right under the drivers wheel. My mate being a car back witnessed the rabbit slowly pop and splatter across the floor [emoji37]

This sounds EPIC Keith, can't wait to see it in action and glad that you are back on the road in her rather than your tonkatoy.

I'm afraid that this forum can't handle png files, try saving the image out as either a jpeg or bmp format. Then when you add a reply to a thread, click on the "More Reply Options", click on the "Choose Files..." button next to the paper clip then click on "Add to Post" on the right along the same line as the preview of the image that you have just uploaded (right next to the red "Delete" option). -
Nice, I'll lock this for you. Let us know if you need it reopening at all.

Yes, do let us know how you get on dude, shame to see you leave but we still wish you all the best with your choice. Shame you aren't going V8 but we've all heard good things about the eco boost engines but I do agree that it's not a true mustang without a V8....and suprised you aren't going yellow either [emoji12] As for the whole poor man's Porsche malarkey, what a load of thosh, as James has already mentioned, plenty of reasons why someone would want a Cayman or Boxter over a 911.
