That's a shame, well I'll aim to get there for about 12 anyways as I've got to speak to Rich anyways.
-
Awesome, I'm down for that!
-
Yes, apologies for not getting involved with your conversation but like Rob said, we were all shattered from the day before and the early mornings but welcome to the club and I'm sure we'll all get to meet up and chat at some point.
-
What time are you planning to be at RRG this Friday? I'll be popping in briefly to chat to Rich about a couple of things.
-
Lol, I was wondering why Keith had a picture of a white 86

Good stuff, sorry to see you go but if you need this reopening, just let us know. -
Possibly Keith, tempted by Cadwell, loved my trackday at Cadwell. Unable to post up the pics directly on here at the moment, will post them up properly but here's a link to the pics through Facebook - https://m.facebook.com/keith.tsang.9/albums/10153497396902018/?refid=17&_ft_&__tn__=C

After almost a year since that fateful day that I hurt my poor baby, my car was finally booked in for it's long overdue repairs. The car was dropped off back in March 31st to a small garage with a lonely old man working his socks off call A.J.Artus in Birmingham around the corner from Star City. So after my lil design moment in seeing how a black boot would look as well as the whole fiasco with the retard fabricator who thought front fender vents should face fowards, I had to change some of the plans/designs and ended up going full carbon fibre bonnet and fenders. Sadly because of that, the work dragged on a lot longer than anticipated (and hiked up the price big time ....wouldn't have been a problem if I was able to get the OEM fenders with the vents facing the right bloody way!!!). I thought the Seibon stuff were supposed to be pretty good stuff but they were a serious pig to fit and even worse, had lots of pin holes and rough edges in the laquer which needed sorting out in order to get them painted properly. Another problem that occurred was that I was going to stick on a subtle body kit too but it required a lot of fettling and probably bonding to the car, and since I wasn't sure if I would like the design, I decided against it and didn't bother with it in the end, so something else will go in it's place but no time soon I'm afraid. I popped in as often as I could, this meant almost every other weekend and any days off I had as April and May were full of the odd days off with 2 long stag do weekends as well as being stupidly busy at work. So I needed as much rest as I could but could never truly rest with all this going on at once, never mind the worry of the car and all the problems that came up because of it But I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel, the car will be picked up finally tomorrow morning (fingers crossed) and then I'll be heading straight down to meet Lauren at GPRM, then Rob at some dude's garage in Chiseldon, then down to the Premier Inn in Chippenham ready for Japfest at Castle Combe on the Saturday and then over to the Supercar Seign at Leeds Castle on the Sunday.....a very very busy weekend again!!! Pics of the colour change will be posted tomorrow night so stay tuned!!!

Just a note Lauren, the stoptechs also generate a fair bit of dust (a lot more than OEM) but no squeaking at all yet.

LOL, yes it is but I'll let Rich introduce himself, but know that you'll be in good hands with RRG Macclesfield, I travel 2 hours from the Midlands just to get my car serviced by them.

Welcome to the club, shame you weren't around earlier as I would have been able to show you a white GT86 (all be it just one side of it [emoji12], the other side wouldn't have done the car justice), but now the car is almost repaired but to a complete different colour. I'm sure though that there are other white ones about, white and orange are probably the most common colours about.

Welcome to the club and hope you have a good look around. The car is a hoot to drive too, the best word to describe the car is balanced, the handling is superbly well balanced, it's quicker than most cars on the road but not as fast in a straight line compared some of the hot hatches out there and at the same time it's not overly expensive to run, pretty decent mpg (obviously not the point of the car but every little helps), tax and insurance is also pretty average. Even the practicality is also balanced, not as much space as modern hatches but more practical than most other sports cars. Get yourself a test drive, most have loved their test drives but I've got to be honest, my test drive was pretty average but the car has rapidly grown on me and absolutely love the car. The car is great as stock but at the same time, there's so much you could do to modify the car to suit your needs and style too.

No worries, to be fair, he didn't mention it to me either. I think it was Jay and Steve who told me to pump the pedal to resolve it. I don't recall it being mega obvious but I started to stall the car when setting off and realised the dead zone. But hopefully it has been fixed on the Ecutek side.

[emoji33] what is that beast? You can't just post up a pic and not give us some more details!- 88 replies

Remember to give the gas pedal a couple of full pumps as you'll have a bit of a dead zone to begin with. Enjoy!

Lol, I thought as much but to be fair, I still don't fully understand twitter either.....needless to say I use neither of these things, just Facebook......I feel old [emoji58]

Can anyone explain the point of Instagram?

How would you compare the two Mark? How different does the HKS feel and perform compared to the Sprintex?- 88 replies

Do it mate, you feel the difference and does exactly what it says, makes the gear shifts feel more positive when you slot them into gear, definielty worth it.

Congrats and welcome to the club!
