How easy was it to get the seats off? Any chance of comparing drivers seat to passenger seats? I've always though about seeing if I could raise the passenger seat somehow as usually, the rear passenger struggle with foot room more than anything else....usually feels like you sit lower down as a passenger. Have had thoughts of getting a LHD drivers seat from Europe so the passenger could have height adjustability too.

Another BRZ Front Fender Side Fin Group Buy from Japex
Keethos posted a topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Hey everyone, apologies for not setting this up earlier as I know some of you were wanting these at one point but I've been so busy with work and stuff that it completely slipped my mind. To make things easy, I'll be sorting this group buy just like I did previously in the sense that I will be ordering the parts to be sent to me and then I will either have them delivered to you or if you can wait, we can sort it out so they can be collected at a meet of some sort. Again, I'll give this group buy about a month to give people plenty of time to consider and join the group buy if they wish. I did query this with Nathan from Japex back in August for a batch of 5 to 10 sets and he said it would be about £110 per set. Obviously I will be querying this again with him when I get an idea of how many people want in on this. Either way, please do take into consideration that if you want the part to the delivered then I'll add that to your cost as well as any extra charges we might get through from customs (luckily last time I didn't have to pay anything for customs so lets hope the same happens this time round ) Just like before, I will message those who are interested the payment details closer to the cut off date which, if there's no objections, will make it the end of Feb (i.e. Sat Feb 28th) so it gives people time to see this thread and to get more interests. The colours as per his auction site are as follows: · Tornado Grey/ Dark Grey Metallic/ Asphalt (61K) · Storm Black/ Crystal Black Silica/ Raven (D4S) · Mount Fuji Red/ Lighting Red/ Firestorm (C7P) · Thunder Silver Metallic/ Sterling Silver Metallic/ Argento (D6S) · Sonic Blue/ Galaxy Blue Silica/ Ultramarine (E8H) · Pegasus White/ Satin White Pearl/ Whiteout (37J) So those of you who are interested, please add your name to my list, add what colour you'd want from the list above and state if you wish for it to be "Delivered" or to "Collect" at the next possible meet: 01 - Zen - Black - Delivered 02 - sxocpaul - Black - Delivered 03 - ourphil - White - Collect 04 - Arekkz - Red - Delivered 05 - 86alex - Black - Collect 06 - Tweedbean - White - Collect 07 - Captain G - White - Delivered -

Congrats and welcome to the club. You'll find the car will be more eager with more miles, that plus it's now your car so your willing to give it some without a sales guy sat next to you holding you back. Got any plans for the car? Mods? Track days?

Not necessarily a full step by step but he said he'll take photos for me during the process.

The day has finally come, I've finally dropped my car off to get it fixed and ultimately transform into something epically awesome! CAN'T WAIT! Had to drop it off early as I don't have time to drop it off any other time so work won't actually start till next week, and sadly it'll be about 3 weeks the wait is guna kill me! It has been too long but it was also kinda fun driving around in this state, the faces and looks was amusing, and the amount of people talking about my car all over the country was impressive, my boss over heard some people chatting about a battered 86 while at a scanning event, turns out they were from Bentley and it was my car they were talking about, I've even had a stalker hunt me down on Facebook after seeing my car parked up somewhere. But the car will come back looking epic, there are lots of extra bits going on so the car will be completely transformed, but I'll leave some of that as a surprise! But for the time being, I'm currently driving around in a Hyundai i10 which has so far made me a lil car sick....and I was driving

Awesome stuff mate, congrats! Liking the Aero Kit on the white car!

Good meeting you too dude, if you don't get a chance to visit your dealer before Fensport, just as Dave to have a look for you, they're great like that.

Awesome stuff dude, glad you're already enjoying her. Hopefully we can meet up breifly tomorrow! Sadly there is no option to show remaining miles but you can have what gear you're in along with a lil up arrow to tell you when to echo change up as well as change when the red light and beep comes on to change up at the limit. As for relocating the USB, simplest way is to have the cable trailing to the glove box or towards to the arm rest area, if you get the OEM arm rest, there's a groove that allows cables to trail through it (but obviously you still get a cable trailing across gear stick and heated switch location). Since you're going to be cutting holes out of the centre console, I've seen people thread USB cables into the centre console and then into either the glove box or arm rest area again.

Does your settings start allow the car to squat backwards when you launch off the line or does it still stiffen up because of the G meter?
-
Congrats and welcome to the club. And other plans for your car at all?

Seriously can't wait but starting to get stressed out with having to juggle so much at the moment, mega busy with work meant not having time to really concentrate on this and getting everything ready so this whole fender fiasco really isn't helping things as I don't have much time to sort anything else out instead and not only that, the company is on the verge of releasing a new version of our software which means no time off, but then I've got 2 stag dos abroad to go to which both take place over a long bank holiday weekends, I feel like there's no time to breath. And all this is making me make last minute decisions which isn't a great idea when I'm spending so much money on repairs and stuff [emoji44] I just can't wait till this is all over.

Yes mate, my wheels were slightly damaged from the crash so thought I'd get them refurbed from a company over in Redditch, he did me a favour and charged me £240 for the job but he's closing shop soon and deciding to do something else instead. I was surprised how different they look when all black as you don't really notice the extra spokes around the back because the shiny spokes really get in your face, now that they're all black they look like completely different wheels. Sadly my back up plans have gone down the pan too this morning, I was thinking maybe going all out and getting the Seibon Wide Fenders with Vents, but it seems that there aren't any in the UK so I'll have to wait 2-3 weeks for them to be shipped in which would be too late. So I'm taking a chance on my initial guy who will customise a set of fenders for me, what I'll have to do is get my body shop guy to source a single fender just in case the fender guy doesn't come through with the customised ones. If he doesn't then at least I can still get the car done, I won't be pleased as I really wanted some vents down the sides.....just means it'll have to be a future project but it means spending more money If he does, great, just means I'll have to sell the spare fender on ebay Fingers crossed it all goes to plan!

18x8 is quite common for those staying NA but in terms of weight, that will depend on the wheel you buy, some can be lighter than the current stock 17 but most probably will be heavier.
