Another BRZ Front Fender Side Fin Group Buy from Japex
Keethos replied to Keethos's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Hey sorry again for the delay, took a couple of day for Nathan to respond and was hoping he would get back to me again before I posted something here. He can still sort out a group buy for us 5 and for a pretty good £105 per pair to be delivered to one address (i.e. to myself), and then we can sort out collection or delivery. If you are wanting delivery, I will add on the cost to get them posted and also note that there might be an extra charge for customs, again, I was lucky enough to not have to pay it last time but I can't guarantee it will happen again. So can people who are interested please let me know if you are still interested and I'll get these ordered relatively soon ish! -
But how much of this is down to switching from winter tyres to stretched summer tyres?
-
The primacys aren't too bad on track, obviously not the most grippy tyres but once they get hot, they stay pretty consistance. The primacys are proper tough stuff, Lauren has spent a whole afternoon drifting her car around with hardly any tyre wear.

Congrats and welcome to the club, any plans for any mods?
-
I know some people in the past has wrapped their cars in a protective clear vinyl. Don't know how they are doing now though.
-
Yeah, I'm hoping one upside to my crash is better paint.
-
Yup, ignoring the one side of my car, I have a deep chip on the edge between the roof and windscreen which started to rust as well as other chips here and there (even got a chip/crack on the windscreen ) but that's partly due to the poor roads and soft paint. I'm sure we're all suffering.
-
So they're just normal Valenti's but with a sequential indicator?
-
If I'm looking at the correct set, the revo valenti's don't look massively different to me. Love the buddy club ones, my only problem with them is they don't really go with the lights at the front.
-
I'm hoping so but I might not have my 86 by then so will have to let you know, but if I do, I'd love to take you up on that offer!
-
Nice, they look fairly stretched. How do they feel as I'll probably be sticking with Continental again.
-
So you've got 235/40R18 Contis on your 18x9.5 rims? Got any pictures?
-
255? But from your pics, they look like they're still slightly stretched! So is 235 too stretched then? Would 245 be in the limit?
-
Well yes, as I mentioned in my original message, I see where you're cons are but that's if you stretch them too much, I'm interested to know where that boundary is and what other benefits or con's once I find that medium.
-
Thanks for the input peeps! So besides the fear of something coming off, snapping, sheering etc, are there any other cons to using spacers?
-
Wow, that sucks balls dude, I hope they do you right and sort you out with one sharpish! Keep us posted!
-
Congrats and welcome to the club. I look forward to seeing how your mods turnout.
-
Awesome stuff, glad you finally got this sorted and can fully enjoy the car!
-
Exciting stuff!

Maybe a long shot but with your cars manual, you should have a separate sheet specific to the cars alarm system. You should have a code of some sort to reset the alarm system maybe using the keypad in the glove box.....complete guess as I didn't actually read mine so not sure what's on that piece of paper.

Evening All! After a pretty successful meet at the DC6 diner the other week, I've was approached by the manager to see if we were interested in hosting a big meet or event there during the summer sometime. Behind the diner, there is a big field with several aeroplanes and aircraft hangers that is part of their Aircraft Museum. The manager would like us to use this area to have an event or something, charging people admission to not only view their aircrafts but our cars too. So besides food on a plane, the other aeroplanes would be out and available for people to wonder into, they could have jets and stuff out too. There could potentially even be pay and ride in small aircrafts and even flybys etc. These are all just ideas on potentially what we could do there besides having our cars on display. Because it's kind of up in the air at the moment (pun intended [emoji14]), the manager says that he's open to suggestions on what else we could do there. Weather we try are make it a big GT86 & BRZ thing only, or perhaps a club thing and get other clubs involved. So the point of this thread is to gauge the number interests as well as ideas on what else we could do there. Some have already shown interests in seeing if we could have access to the airstrip for some drag races or something (doubt we'd be able to do much more without some real support on safety, planning etc.). We can compile ideas here and I can then forward them on to Tony the manager.

I'm pretty sure they are regularly available from any of our venders, Fensport, Abbey Motorspots (where I got mine from), Tuning Development etc.
-
FYI, there's a Subway, Harvesters, MacDonalds and probably other stuff there at Star City, right by the cinema. 1. Will300 2. Keethos 3. 4.
-
Oooooooo, will you be the first Cosworth Supercharge 86 then?
-
They said they improved it so it wouldn't happen again didn't they? Did they fit another old one or something?
