That's how little I know about Rallying

Can't RWD cars compete against AWD in WRC any more?
-
I would seriously consider lapping them up if I wasn't trying to save up to get my car fixed.....though I've never heard of HSD before, they a big brand?

As some of you may know, I'll be up in Macclesfield at the RRG Toyota dealership getting my car serviced on Friday 12th September. Since I am up in the area and I know there are a few people up in the North West on here who are interested in meeting up, I thought I'd post up a separate thread to see who else would be interested in joining us for a mini meet around the Macclesfield area? I'm due in to get my car serviced around 11am and I'll be there for a couple of hours (not saying people have to meet up at 11 as it'll be just me waiting around RRG until it's done), we could meet up somewhere, maybe grab a spot of late lunch somewhere and then possibly have a cruise around Lauren's Triangle? If those who are interested in meeting up please put your name down just so people have an idea of who's turning up and any other ideas or suggestion are most welcome.

Hey, I offer to give you some money for it! But I appreciate you spending your bloody money on us

It was still good Rob

Lol, Keith, Faith probably didn't want to embarrass Rob with his extreme chargrilled burgers and chicken wings

Awesome stuff, where did you get the master cylinder brace from?

Dunlop Sport Maxx RT Tyre's 235/40/18
Keethos replied to will300's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
It doesn't make a difference if they are wheels or tyres as the max size remains the same no? Your guna need the whole boot and rear seat space to fit all 4 though.... -

You guna be able to fit all 4 wheels and all your other stuff in the car? Can you fit 4 x 18" wheels in the car? -
Awesome stuff Keith! Would like to know what this "offer" was that he made to make these parts miraculously appear

A massive thanks to Mark and the Abbey team for having us for the morning and for Dyno'ing my car as well as checking my wheel alignment. My front passenger wheel was slightly out as the camber was +0.5˚ out where as the drivers side had a -1.0˚ camber. They then made some minor adjustments to the toe's too to make sure they matched. This has reassured me even more to know the crash didn't cause any major mechanical issues. Same with the Dyno run, I got the same figures as I did a while back at Tuning Development. Another massive thanks to Rob and his folks for their hospitality and for hosting the club BBQ. It was an awesome laugh with some awesome even if slightly carbonised food. Last but not least, thanks to those who attended for their company in a most amusing evening and shame on you lot who didn't turn up in the end, you really missed out! Keith, glad you made it home safely and come on guys, what's this gossip you speak of?

Welcome to the club and congrats on the purchase! Any plans for the car? Trackdays? Car shows? Mods?

Thanks to Mas (hashiriya) from HKS who nominated me to take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, I've seen a couple of vids of this Ice Bucket malarkey, mainly failed attempts though so didn't really know what it was all about. I had a quick Google, saw what this was really all about and set of to take on the challenge but also to donate to an ALS charity group, here's my vid: I've donated to the alsa.org charity group and I've also nominated Rob (rob275) along with 2 other friends so I expect your video to be on here Rob within 24 hours! I'm sure Mas will be on at some point and he can post up his vid of his challenge.

Yes, as Rob said, I have the resontated cobra catback system but I've also had the 2nd CAT deleted, however, even though I've had the 2nd CAT removed which typically increase the volume of the systems, my last trackday was at Cadwell Park and I'm sure I got 89db which I was really surprised about....I thought it might have been a lil higher.....though it might be on drive bys rather than static tests at around 5500rpm.

Keethos replied to Keethos's topic in Social Meets
Ah right, no worries Keith! -
Jeeeeeebus.....nabbed this off a mate the other night, thought I'd have a quick blast on it last night and boom......4 hours lost waiting for it to download and install 10 sets of updates (each being anywhere between 30mb and 2.5gb), only for the game to then boot up and more installs......but the game seems alright.....just wished I had a proper steering wheel to play it with

Macclesfield Mini Meet - Friday 12th September 2014
Keethos replied to Keethos's topic in Social Meets
Sorry to hear that Jay, hope it doesn't prolong the wait too much longer for you. My service is actually the Friday after JAE, Special K Keith was going to pop up next Wednesday then drive down to JAE the next day i.e. Thursday. I was just enquiring if this was still happening with his VVTI issue coming to surface. I'll be heading down LANDAN on Friday for Rob's BBQ....you still coming to that?
