Keethos replied to ourphil's topic in Wanted GT86 / BRZ Cars and Parts
Yeah, I've checked out their website and they have a fair few other things on there such as the TRD body kit and the Rocket Bunny Kit too. -
PLEASE TELL ME YOU'VE GOT THIS ON VIDEO!!!!!

LOL, I put that down to purely not wanting to damage Faith's car but not giving it enough push......that plus it had been so long since I last did it

Wanted: A pair of standard GT86 wing side trims

Phil, I have some white ones too if you need, but I have lost one or two of the lil plastic clips but I'm sure you can re-use some of the ones off yours. I would advise that you get some double sided foam tap as these are both stuck down and held in place by plastic clips. When removing these parts, the double sided foam tape often gets damaged and removed so you'll need some new stuff to keep it held on. I might be getting another group buy on at some point Smudge off Nathan from Japex, last time I brought 9 pairs for about £100 each and they were shipped over from Japan. I know some people missed out on that and there are new people joining who might be interested....I've not checked mine in detail after my crash so don't know if I can salvage mine or if I should get a new pair.....at the same time, I've seen these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-GT86-Subaru-BRZ-Fender-Garnish-with-Side-Indicator-Marker-LED-Light-/291171899967?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item43cb329a3f which light up -

Another one bites the dust Sorry to see that dude! I just might have to Dave as there isn't any white ones appearing which would save me a fair few penies as the paint is the major expense, that's why I've been holding out on getting white parts rather than just getting any old colour or brand new. There is a blue and black bumper on ebay at the moment but they've got minor damage (either dent or a crack but repairable). As for the bonnet nothing out there and not so cheap, about £320 plus VAT unpainted brand new. Luckily Chris is sorting me out with his

Awesome stuff Mark! I'd like to put my name down for both please!

Is that just for the check or does it include adjustments etc?
-
Glad I could help!

How much Rob? I should have really had this checked by now but not gotten round to it, hate to think how my alignment is after the crash

The new Sweeny made a thing about the Focus ST....well top gear did anyways But besides the Fast & Furious cars, the only real film with the stars being the cars is by far the James Bond films as Mas mentioned! Films like the first Bourne did have a big car chase with the old Mini but I wouldn't class that as a star per say, it's not something that was specifically cast for the film, more like something that was suitable for that particular chase (in my opinion, I could be completely wrong). Not many films put that extra effort into finding the write car for the film now days or make a big deal out of it.

There's getting more popular around my area though

- By the side indicator, along the inner wheel arch liner, use a Philips screw driver to remove the plastic twist push rivet - Once removed, stick a thin screw driver through the push rivet's hole and then push the screw driver away from you so you pop the side indicator out towards you (give it some, it will pop out) - Pull out the rest of the indicator (there are 3 metal clips holding the indicator in, the top one pops out when you pry it out with the screw driver, the other two are towards to the bottom of the indicator unit which you just pull out from) - Twist the indicator unit to remove the plastic housing for the light - Pull out the bulb that's connected to the plastic stalk (note, if you wish to re-use the bulb, try not to touch it with dirty fingers, grip it with something clean that you can then put away without getting any dirt or grease on it) - Push in the new bulb (again, holding the bulb with something clean so you don't get any dirt or grease on it) (in Faith's case, the new indicator housing has LED's so you don't plug a bulb back in, just the connectors for the LEDS) - Slide the indicator plastic housing back over the bulb (or connector in Faith's case) and twist to lock back in position - Push the stalk back into the bumper hole area and then fit the bottom 2 metal clips into position and then push the last top metal clip into position until it clicks (Note that the indicators that Faith brought didn't fit/lock into position very well as the metal clips are slightly different shape so it might take a fair bit of fettling to get it into position) - Push the in the plastic twist push rivet and then twist it to screw it in

I could do the 2nd but would prefer 9th and 10th.

Chris - is there a reason why your image of the CF Fuse cover is moulded in the middle where as Dave's is just flat? Is there a reason why it's not flat?
-
The wing, skirts and front lip I don't mind, it's the little wheel arch extenders or garnish whatever you wanna call them, they just seem a lil pointless and cheapens the look.

I'd love to see Lauren go round, I'm sure she'd get a pretty swift time!

The question is, do you get the same issues being digital as digital TV in the sense that if you don't have full signal, the audio will just keep on cutting out on you? Where as with analogue, it'll just go a lil fuzzy but at least you can still listen to the music and what not.

Another blow to my journey, as some of you might have heard, Fensport has been tasked to make another GT86R but for a customer for road use, which meant that potentially a spare bumper would be available.....buuuut nope, the customer want's to keep his as a spare
