Change of plans for me I'm afraid, I can't make this now Sorry......dropping like flies now....
-
Let us know how you get on, hopefully it is just the stick that is the cause!
-
Bumping this, what's the consensus people? Are we still up for this or has this deflated, dried up and died a horrible and slow death?
-
True but it would definitely speed up the transfer time between PC and the USB stick whenever you need to add more tunes to the mix.
-
Oooooo that's nice....and USB 3.0 I've got a similar small one but an older 32gb Sandisk Cruizer Fit which is only USB 2.0.

I've not heard anyone report having jumpy/choppy music, is it skipping bits or is it freezing bits? Like Rob asked, what make and size are the sticks?
-

Nice install dude! Does this rattle happen all the time or just when the bass is kicking? Have you tried applying the door lock? Mine seems to rattle just only when the bass is kicking and when I apply the door lock, you can hear the rattle either stops or has been heavily reduced. I've not got round to it yet but mine seems to be rattling due to the door lock cable vibrating against something. Or it could be something else entirely....

Does this help at all Rob? https://tapatalk.com/activate_tapatalk.php?plugin=ipb Do we look into tapatalk to get a plug in for iPBoard or do we look into IPBoard for a tapatalk plug in? Tapatalk is just an app for your mobile to view forum ain't it?

Well I'm up for a trip round the Evo triangle. This way I can visited a friend in Bradford Friday/Saturday then meet up with Lauren, Alec, Rich etc and convoy over. Has Will plotted a route? With a decent food/watering hole?

The price at the moment might seem a lil high but you're paying for a proven and tested combo of parts that are guaranteed to function perfectly together (i.e. paying for a reduced risk factor), you're more likely to get less variance like I got with the Resonated and None Resonated Cobra exhaust system. It's pretty much the same as buying a pre-built PC from say Alienware or some other company that builds and overclocks PC's over someone buying their own bits and overclocking them themselves. You pay for the convenience of someone else putting a kit together and testing it to say that it works 100% rather than having to read through millions of reviews for so many different parts and then putting together the bits that you want which might just be something that someone else hasn't done before, which means you're the first to have that combo and won't know how reliable or what performance gain you've achieved. And like mentioned, if this was to be approved by the OEM's then again, you're paying for that reduced risk factor. But at the same time, you are paying for the name, not only the Cosworth brand by the Nameless brand who make the exhaust system and whoever else was involved. The problem for these systems is that there are quite a number of us who have already started our modding process and have already covered most of these items so they won't be suitable for us, you pretty much have to buy their stuff and their stuff only (well for the time being anyways until they finally break the kits up which they might or might not do yet). That and I'm not a big fan of the noise their exhaust system made. And lastly the idea of flashing an off the shelf map rather than having a custom map that has been mapped to your car specifically, we all know each car from the factory varies slightly which a custom map can cater for, a pre-made off the shelf map just won't be as good.

Awesome stuff you two! Congrats on what you've managed to achieve anyways....even if you did sneak in a holiday

I won't be tiring, I could run the sim's all day! It won't be as intense/draining as real track time!
-
LOL, awesome stuff Rich and the team!
-
I'm keen for whatever dude! Would be nice to have more people etc, come peeps....where are all the gamers out there? Where's Arekkz on this??? I'm sure he'll be keen!

I won't be though

Awesome stuff Ian, but I don't recall the connectors being a PITA, I managed to take off both door cards completely without any issues......maybe I was just lucky. Days like these that I wished I had a massive garage that I could work in out of the pouring rain etc. My work place used to have a open bay/workshop that people could drive a car into to tinker out of the rain but another company has officially taken the space to setup a show room for all their POS display units and stuff Luckily, if I really needed somewhere to work, I've only just realised that this place is also in Coventry - http://www.rampandwrench.co.uk/main/cars - the video on the site is the section from Fifth Gear where Jonny talks about self servicing your car.
