    Automatic Headlights

I wouldn't worry Zen, it won't seem like you're flashing the person in front as the when the lights do come on, even when your back out in bright light, there is a delay before they turn off again which I assume is to prevent them from blowing when you continuously driver through flickers sunlight due to trees and what not so as a result, doesn't make it seem like your flashing anyone. The sensitivity can be adjusted but they need to be taken to a dealer to do as I believe they have to plug into the car to tweak the setting on a computer or something.
  4. can't see the thread Pitman Can someone post some details for me please? Thanks Deacon but I believe my rear bumper is fine, I've spent a while scouring ebay for parts with no luck yet, but have seen a couple things that I could have done with that have been old a couple of months back. I've even added an alert for whenever a door, bumper, fender or headlight is added which I've never done before.

Cobra cat back non res db readings

While already having a drop in air filter (where we witnessed roughly 6bhp increase), I had the dyno'd at Tuning Development and I got 192bhp I think, after the exhaust (non rest with cat delete) and an ecu remap by Adrian @ Fensport, I visited Tuning Development again and did another run where I got 204bhp (I think) so roughly another 12bhp, no idea what I was running when completely stock so no idea technically my increase with the 3 major mods on.
  6. Thanks dude, but what I've seen so far, pimping it is working out to be more expensive that trying to piece it back together Yeah, so far, the LF-Sport is the only one that I really like the look of but the rear is designed for quad exhausts and it's guna be pricey But I agree Lauren, going Carbon Fibre bonnet is pointless weight wise, I've lifted a stock bonnet on it's own before and it's pretty light, going carbon fibre would only be a look for me and a slightly cheaper option to going brand new OEM but luckily Chris is sorting me out with his.
  7. Not yet, waiting for the quote from Rich to come in so I know what it is that I'll be needing first.

Cobra cat back non res db readings

Stephen, mine was de-catted non res and it was even louder, I was setting off car alarms in the vicinity, I dread to think how loud cold starts were but once warmed, at around 5500rpm, I was getting around 108db, now that I've got a resonated pipe (while still de-catted), when warm I'm getting around 89db.

    My Mazda6 pain

Ouch, OEM pads and discs for the 86 aren't cheap either compared to some after market sets
  11. That's true to a certain degree Steve but if I was looking at going Carbon Fibre, which you'd think isn't going to be cheap, but in fact is cheaper than OEM, for example, bonnet plus paint is about £800odd where as you can get a carbon fibre bonnet for as little as £600. But for the front bumpers off these kits, chances are that they're unpainted so by the time you get them painted, then you'll be looking at a lil more than OEM. And I agree, some of these bumpers won't look right on their own, I'd need to get the sides and possibly even the rear which is big money. The annoying thing is that there has been 2-3 white bumpers that have been sold over the last couple of months now on ebay so just missed them.....just got to wait until another one pops up or I find one in a breakers somewhere. But if I was guna go all out, I'd probably consider these Todoroki Front Fenders rather than the rocket bunny ones, not a big fan of the rivet look and the half cut arches, this one closes the arches off and makes it look more complete:
  12. Thats correct, Adrian is keeping his bonnet and bumper just in case. Not a big fan of the Tom's as its a lil froggy like and the C-west mouth is a bit on the big side with nothing major for me to show off, same with the blitz but the revolution is a good shout if it's a whole bumper that is.

    Fensport GT86R 2014 Upgrades :)

Absolutely awesome Adrian! Love the new look!
  14. @ Lauren - Yeah, that's my logic too. @ Spec - Thanks for the suggestion Keith, my cousin down the road has a spare car that I could run around in (an i10 or his Colt) and I lil sister will be returning to a local wine company where she can borrow their transit van for when I need big parts picking up, like Chris' bonnet which he is kind enough to sell me (Thanks Chris!!!) Some more help guys, these angel eye lights, I've e-mail the guys selling them on ebay weather I could retro fit the HID lights to this angel eye unit and all he could say is "This headlight is using H7 halogen bulb. If your HID is H7 HID, you can install yours to this set headlight." Any ideas if the HID bulb is a H7 fitments and even if retro fitting this would work/possible? Also, and ideas where to look for aftermarket bumpers? So far I've only seen lips and partial bumpers that require the original bumper to attached to

    Countdown is on!

Sorry to hear this dude! But like Rob said, if they don't notice, then that's that, my dealer assessed part-ex and he didn't spot one or two little things, and not heard anything about it since. How bad is the scratch?
  16. Keethos

    Probably very simple...

That's correct Twigman, there is also 2 cables across the door car that connects to the door release and the safety lock that needs unhooking (I think it's 2 cables or it might just be the 1) as well as another wiring loom towards the rear/bottom of the door card that connects to the inside door light.
  17. That's what I think too Lauren but you know insurance companies, any excuse to get out of paying. So we pretty much saying that the insurance companies will return the car back to this current state right? Thanks Fusion, as you can see from the vid, I over took someone which mean I was going to fast for the next corner, so after I was on the brakes, I turned in and the car just understeered and it just kept on going off the track onto the grass and then into the tyre wall. Sadly I can't say that I'll look back at the crash and laugh about it but at least I can look back at the video and laugh at the video for how ironic (is that the right word to use here?) the Happy song is and that I managed to fit the full song in right before the final bump, then another great song by Pharrell that suited the situation afterwards....and yeah, he rage comic image just finishes it off

Awesome stuff Z, how you liking it and what you come from car wise?

    OEM Primacy Tyres x 2

Will is currently using his again since his new alloys had to go back and the weather has picked up, he couldn't stay on the winters so he's using the stock tyres again until he gets a new set of alloys.
  20. Keethos

    Probably very simple...

Rob is correct, start to pull up from the underside of the door handle bit as at the top of the trim actually hooks upwards so you do need to hinge it outwards from the bottom. To remove the the door trim card itself, you need to remove the plastic pop rivet at the front and remove the 3 (I think) screws, 2 in the door handle after you remove the door hand trim and 1 where the door leaver is (behind a plastic cover cap). Then get your fingers under the door along the bottom and simply pry up and outwards all the way round. Once the door card is hinged outwards from the bottom, you can lift / unhook the top of the door car from the window sill.
  21. LOL, no not at all Twigman, knowing me, if I tried to pull a stunt like that, I'll bite me in the ass at some point, either seriously injuring myself in the process or not getting covered insurance wise or something. It's more the fact that it's my daily drive, yes it drives fine but if I'm guna have problems with insurance, then maybe I shouldn't be driving it and should get another run around until it's fixed....but as the plan is to take my time fixing it....I don't know if I can do without driving my baby for that long
  22. A question to those in the know how of insurance companies, if I was to genuinely have a road accident now, what would my situation be like? Am I covered for the whole car, am I only covered to the state it's in now or am I not covered at all? Any ideas people?
  23. No not yet Lauren but I heard on face book that most of the stuff I need they've butchered to make new parts with, but I'll swing by theirs at some point to see what they have available. I've messaged Adrian too but not heard back from them yet.
