Welcome to the club and congrats on the purchase, best of luck with the wait though

I've corrected that for you James

Just another quick update, the washer bottle seems to be holding fine so big thanks to Gary at RRG for sealing that bad boy up. Started to send out e-mails to breakers via breakeryard.com and 1stchoice.co.uk with a list of parts that I'm looking for initially, this being the bonnet, the front bumper, the front bumper under-tray, front passenger side wing/fender, front passenger side wing/wheel arch liner, the passenger side door and the front passenger side xenon headlamp. I'm sure there will be other parts I'll need but I think these are the main/big items I'll be needing so far that I can just bolt on myself.

Hmmmmmm......don't know if I should attend this or not.....no one really wants to see battered metal on such a beautiful car.....though my sister does want me to drop something off in Shrewsbury for her so it's in that general direction.....but then again screw her cos the weather looks pants.....how many people are actually going from here?

Let us know how you get on Jay, plus I want a full write-up / how to thread and you James

Welcome to the club and you're definitely in safe hands at RRG, I travel 100 odd miles there whenever I need anything doing to my car because I trust those guys and I know I'll be well looked after. Sadly I have no idea about how well the GT86 will work with disabled drivers but if you wouldn't mind, please do keep us posted, it'll be interesting to hear what options there are.

Hmmmm....still looking forward to seeing these in the flesh but that pic just makes it look like the back of a lego car

I was really hoping this would be a chance for a trackday in their GT86 like they did at the very beginning, but it seems that this is a win a track day for your GT86

Thanks guys, I've seen websites like 1stchoice.co.uk and breakeryard.com where you fill in a list of parts you need and then they get sent to a load of breakers who will then respond to say if they have any or not so will be filling in some of those at some point, might check out silverlake too.

Best of luck with the wait! It's guna drag and you'll be crawling up the walls soon enough But it'll be worth it!

Thanks guys and good shout Jay, do quite like those but they aren't HID which is a real shame!

BHP Performance Show - 5th May 2014
Keethos replied to will300's topic in Meets/Show & Shine - Pictures & Videos
Here's my BHP video that I finally put together which includes part where I swerve in-between an elephant to save a baby child that's in the middle of the track which caused me to spin out and hit the Titanic! Followed by pictures that I took starting with my favourite: That's me standing on a metal railing on a pretty steep hill....surprised luck didn't kick me down it like it kicked me into the tyre wall -
Thanks Alec, that's good to know....but I don't think the family will appreciate the rumblings of my snoring....though hopefully that will be changing shortly, hopefully it's be the sound Darth Vader instead

How do you download videos off Youtube? -

If I've already added videos to my account, is there a way to mirror the vid on the clubs channel without having to re-upload the videos again? -
Wow, that's pretty bad, question is do you plan on keeping the car long long term as the way I see it, if there were issues because of this, then you'll prob won't experience them till later in the engines life but I'm also no expert. The suggestion of an extended engine warranty is a good shout for piece of mind.

Welcome to the club Peter and congrats on the purchase as well as getting it Turbo'd by Fensport, you're in good hands there!
-
No way If I had known I may have stuck around down south a day longer for this....shown Splerb some real issues
-
Dude, that looks awesome! But can't believe the damage from it falling over Did you paint your towing eye too and did you get a new cap or just drilled a hole through the original?
-
Again, that's not to say that they're crap when cold, just not as good as when warm, if you want to try them out, feel free to jump in mine!
-
I've just recently put on my Stoptech pads and kinda agree with Forge, they don't feel all that when cold but it gets there but they're still bedding in and the true test is on track, see how they cope this Monday. Adrian suggested the TRD pads or the Ferodo pads if you're willing to spend the cash, then the Stoptech which as you said are cheaper.
