While I was training a company in Pickering, North Yorkshire, I had to venture 13 miles to find the nearest Shell garage for petrol one day after work....and while I was there, thought Scarborough was only a lil further on and since I had nothing to do, decided to wonder over there to just have a quick look and to take some quick pics.......then just went back to my B&B in Pickering.....as you do God knows how many years it's been but I've only ever visited Scarborough once before and that was when I was a lil kid.....didn't recognise anything there I know I could have ventured upwards into the Yorkshire Moors for some nice roads but I enjoyed the drive to and from Scarborough through country roads that kept on going from 60 to 40 back to 60 again continuously.......but then you had the bloody fools who would just do 50 everywhere but that did mean I ended up doing a lot of over taking

Random Pics in Scarborough

Cheers dude! Though not that different as I instigated a group buy of about 9 sets so there's a few of us with them now. As for the light weight pulleys, I'm afraid I can't say for certain how they feel as I've only got the 2 smaller pulleys installed as the crank pulley bolt wouldn't come off so I've been waiting for Mike @ Tuning Development to get a replacement bolt in but we've been too busy to get this sorted. So so far, I could say it feels a lil more free revving but that might just be a placebo. -
LOL BOOM SMASHED IT!!! Awesome!

Oooooo Man Vs Food!!! Who dares burns!!! I want this recorded on video and uploaded or it didn't happen
-
LOL good man, I'll hold you to that I should have my black roof and front lip wrapped by then after a full detail and hopefully my new alloys
-
that sounds like too much effort But I'll see what I can do....at somepoint
-
Yeah, that's what I do but even then, it sometimes gets tangled or twisted some hows.....the quick release ones would have been nice but I've read that they're not as safe as the double D straps.

I'm loving my headtec helmet, it is a lil on the cheap side as you can see some of the finish around edges aren't great and the paint chipped off ever so easily when I tried to screw on the visor (which is a really cheap piece of plastic that didn't fit correctly to begin with and again very poor finish but it looks alright and fits very well for me.....the double D strap is a bit of a ballache sometime (especially with gloves on) but it does the job.

@Rob - why on earth wouldn't you want one? I probably wouldn't get one as I doubt I'd afford it but I'd still want one....assuming like Lauren it stays as close to the concept. I'm sure performance wise it's guna be awesome! @Lauren - why didn't you like the Supra? I would have loved a Supra but not a stock one, it doesn't look all that stock but there are some really awesome body kits.

Looks like there's guna be a facelift to the GT86, nothing major it seems, new wheels and rubber, slightly different dampers and other small bits and bobs, but nothing major. http://www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=29785&utm_source=2014-4-10&utm_medium=email&utm_content=html&utm_campaign=newsletter

I don't know, kinda prefer them over the stock ones now though
-
I still need to get some stickers ordered for my helmet too.....you got a decent company to source the club stickers from yet Rob? I need some contacts
-
Awesome, yeah, I still prefer the Valenti ones over all others
-
How many miles do you reckon you'll need to bed in a new set of pads?
-
I had it done by my dealer late last year and it did stop, but now it's back.
-
Also, do we know if the chirping has anything to do with the VVTi at all? My chirping is back again
-

Nilfisk C120 6-6 PCA X-Tra Pressure Washer and Patio Cleaner Set
Keethos replied to GT86-Ian's topic in Cleaning & Detailing
I would be all over this if I could ever be arsed to wash my car -
And the OEM doesn't have a swiveling hook end (ooo-er )
-
I don't know what I was so worried about, just checked my front and rear pads down the drivers side and they've still got 2-3mm on them....probably guna keep them on till a week before BHP, then I'll stick on the new Stoptechs.
-
Yeah, let us know dude as Adrian from Fensport has warned me of cheaper ones where the pin through the swivel point can be a bit on the small side which work fine when pulled straight back but if they're being pulled at an angle, they can easily twist and shear off
-
Awesome stuff Forge, it's always satisfying customising the car by yourself, looking forward to the end result!
