    JDM STICKERS

LOL, it's all good fun, awesome stuff dude! No idea that you changed vehicle though, I originally test drove the Auto first but I was always adamant on getting a manual! There are times that an auto with flapply paddles come into their own, i.e. full auto for lots of traffic and flappy paddles for smooth gear changes on track, but the rest of the time, i.e. normal to spirited driving, manual gears all the way for a more involving drive in my opinion! How much was your Cusco tow hook anyways and where from? I'm interested in getting a pair to save me having to take the stock one on and off every time I go on track.

Awesome stuff Lauren, how much more needs doing besides a mega clean?
  3. I still can't decide if I like them or not.....interested in seeing them in the flesh Rob! Still prefer the Valenti ones but I do sometimes think it doesn't work with the front GT86 lights style wise.

The gearbox bush doesn't really solve any issues, it just enhances the feel of the gear stick slotting into position in a more positive fashion, but you'll have to really give it some to really notice the difference, normal driving or while stationary won't really feel any different.

    I Saw a GT-86 or BRZ Today........

Yeah, there's a couple more now around my area....but not managed to chat to any of them....one of them even parks in the same work car park.....should really talk to him.....but it seems more and more people are getting the car but who just aren't interested in other fellow owners, no love for a community never mind visiting forums about the car!

    RRG on Saturday

Think I'll aim to get up to RRG for about 9ish, hang around for a bit before heading over to Tuning Development if I can, then Demon Tweeks (or straight there if Mike can't sort me out). Then another nice long drive over to Grantham ready for TSS the next day.....it's guna be a loooooooooong day.....satnav reckons 9 hours to cover 270 miles if I avoid the motorways

    Changing discs and pads

Opinions people, I've just quickly checked one of my pads and this is how much I've got left on one of them, should I change them before my sprint this weekend? There's about 2/3 mm left: Just when I thought the rain would stop for the evening....it goes and starts to bloody rain again....so I quickly took a pic and put everything back together again....if they need changing, I'll try and get it done tomorrow after work as long as it STOPS BLOODY RAINING!!! Really wish I had a big garage

    RRG on Saturday

I may swing by, I'm heading over to Wrexham to Demon Tweeks to pick up a pair of racing gloves, I'm hoping I'll hear back from Mike from Tuning Development to see if he's got the crank bolt in yet so I can get my last pulley swapped over so I'll be around, may pop in to say hello!

For those with Cobra non-resonated systems

Rob, I didn't say that Cobra said they weren't interchangeable, it's just something that I saw where some of the pipes were different lengths when taken out of different supply boxes, for example I've seen different length tail pipes and different length pipes from the back box that connects to the tail pipes as well as the non-res pipe that comes in 2 parts I believe, two sets would equal the same overall length but if you were to swap the same ends over then you could end up with a system that is shorter and another that is longer. Again, all this was observed from when I had my system installed, not being told by Cobra or anyone, just to make things clear.

For those with Cobra non-resonated systems

Hi Mark, please don't take this the wrong way but it's irrelevant the fact that you warned us that the non-res system was too loud, as you mentioned in your post, you felt that it was too loud but how you feel about a system is irrelevant compared to those of us who have actually heard a non-res system first hand and was pretty much sold on exactly what we heard i.e. Jay's system which has been on numerous Cobra stands and car meets.
