Yeah, but Jay, you've heard mine and I'm sure you agreed that yours was never as loud, the fact that you past a 102dba noise test a couple of days after you had yours fitted and the fact that I failed a 105dba test miserably with an astonishing 108dba a couple of months after having mine fitted is just mind boggling, especially when both you and I have virtually the same setup. Mine did quieten down a little but still not enough to pass the noise checks on track and I'm sure if I added more and more miles to it, it would have quieten down a bit more, but I doubt it would have still gotten to a level where I could get on track with some of the more strict noise levels. I'm just glad to see that it's not just me that's heard your system, was convinced that that was what we wanted volume and noise wise and went a head and ignored Mark's warnings of the non-res system being too loud as we thought we knew what we were getting. Sadly Cobra are adamant that nothing has changed since Jay's system was installed and are all made off the same jig, though when I had my system first fitted, some of the pipes that were brought out were of the wrong length, turned out that if you take out the pipes from the same box then it's fine, they connect and fit the car, but if you were to accidentally mix the pipes up, you could end up with a system that wouldn't fit your car as it was either too long or too short, so there are differences, be it jigs or just the actual workers making them slightly differently to one another. I'll put my name down initially Amazing Crow but I currently have a res system installed from Mark so I might have to take this up with him rather than directly from Cobra but Mark's in talks with Cobra anyway so add my name just to add more ammo to the situation. I know Deacon also isn't happy with his non-res system so hopefully he'll be on shortly to add his 2 pence.

I don't know anyone off the top of my head with an auto and Milltek system. But for what it's worth, lots of people have told me that the overpipe isn't worth it on an N/A and makes almost no difference, so might be worth just keeping the original pipe and installing the rest of the Milltek system.

What exactly does the subframe inserts consist of and have people just gone for the whiteline ones or some other brand?

Yeah, the Motor Museum has plenty of space and hosts a lot of meets there...as long as we don't clash with another club or event there.

This sounds friggin awesome Lauren, so jealous of you and Mark right not....wish I had the money to do all that!

So what's a CARB tune? I'm sure it's not overly complicated, they say it's just a bolt on kit, but I don't know if I'd trust myself on such a potentially risky job that if I mess up, could mean major issues for the engine etc.

What's the relationship between Innovate and Sprintex? Who created the system and what's the different between the 2? How much does Abbey charge for the same kit without installation? Are you saving much? I definitely wouldn't trust myself to fit something as major as a supercharger to the engine without someone holding my hands along the way.

Awesome Lauren, the only way I could describe the Whiteline Positive Shift Mount is that it made the gear changes more....well....positive, just like it says it does but I like your "snickety snick" description I could be tempted by the steering wheel too, even if it doesn't come in white instead of red I've still got the red bits on the seats and stitches. @steveoexige - what does the subframe inserts involve and what changes do you feel?

Any ideas who long I should leave my car for after driving it before I should tackle swapping brakes? I.e. how long do people reckon it'll take for them to cool down enough to touch with rubber gloves?

Yeah, I reckon the blue looks better, though I do like the lighter green....but still not as good as the blue in my opinion....definitely not the darker green though!

I thought that too Dave but mine are quite deep so can't be dirt/grit being caught, can't imagine it being a stone or what not as it would just get pushed out (plus I've got multiple lines within a couple of mm of each other) and I'm sure I'm still hearing a slight screech as it winds up. Also, I'm pretty sure that there's some sort of roller or track that the window follows there as you just about feel it when the window is down and when it's wet, it leave a clear streak/strip there. I'll take some pics tomorrow morning.

Lol, great stuff, awesome pics guys, I was too lazy and too busy helping people with my own tools fitting side fenders and reversing cameras to actually take any photos, but I knew you lot would be on the ball! Can't thank Adrian, Tony, Tim and Dave enough for organising this and for their hospitality, we need to do this again soon! Such an awesome day and a very entertaining evening.....though I fear Adrian's little man might be asking mum and dad some rather awkward questions regard what grandad Keith was singing the other night.....Adrian was loving it so much he forgot to ear muff the poor boy Faith, it was a pleasure being involved in creating such a masterpiece, such a work of art your car....I'll be sure to bring a sharpy to sign your car next time I see it Great to see new faces too as well as the usual lot, always a pleasure. Mike, I saw you turn off.....I was wondering where you wondering off to and Lauren, I wasn't too sure why you were turning off but I turned off shortly after anyways! Big thanks to Pitman too as he was generous to let drive his car again.....such an awesome beast....and the power.....wish I had the bloody money
