Just cleaned mine and thought I would check. Car hasn't even done 17000 miles yet, mine is '63 plate so my warranty has run out? rusty1 rusty2 rusty3
-
Mine is quite similar except I fed the cable in through the back of the glove box, then you don't have the wires coming in through the side/front and therefore not visible. Again, you won't need to remove the glove box/panels, cables fit through the massive gaps in it lol
-
I can't see it What is it?
-
I didn't even remove my panels, just tucked the cable in. Didn't remove anything, fed the cable in through a gap in the glove box when it's open and checked if the gap is still there at the back when it's closed and it is so the cable doesn't get squashed. Unfortunately I can't take a pic as I have removed the cable as it needs to be repaired. Dashcam came unstuck from the glass and snapped the cable connector.

Yea I don't think you can get worse tyres than the primacys ... well unless you buy some cheap unknown brand -

Did I hear that right? he can't get the back end out? And a blind spot with the passengers wing mirror. The Americans jump in... It's needs more power, it can handle it. It needs more power -
Welcome, and gratz on getting a GT86 with mods already done. I'm just trying to see what it has done to it from looking at the pics, different exhaust, valenti lights and what appears to be a blackened (is that a word) front spoiler with Fensport written on it and different alloys Very nice. Edit: oh oh and the BRZ side fenders.

Sorry also missed this. Bit of a hectic weekend/week. Payment sent.

I think it's right at the front, where the rubber sill is. Where you would reach under to undo the bonnet latch.

TTR's part out thread (Coilovers, UEL, Gear stick)
Cerastes replied to TTR's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
so true. -
Welcome. Wouldn't it have been easier to just buy a GT86 aero? You would have got better alloys and tyres too.
-
I'm getting those, one day. I just can't commit to spending that much all in one go. Unless I can find a bargain.
-
I think it depends when that was, as prices have gone up everywhere now I believe.
-
Which windows you having tinted? as mine was £120 for the 3 rear windows. I think £549 is about the same as others. Fensport website is saying £528 and that's without dyno runs.

Exciting stuff I don't think many have tried Horsham Developments, let us know how you get on. They did some work on my brothers 350Z, no complaints from him. Although little confused with your Monday and Wednesday plan, you're going to fix the exhaust on Monday and then get Cobra to fix the exhaust on Wednesday? or am I reading that wrong?

Matt Black badges added (finally); has been a real struggle getting hold of a cheapish set. I had a go at Plastidipping the front before, it didn't go very well; it ended up all furry. Tried to order a set of front and back badges through ebay but the ebay website kept saying the payment could not be accepted so I contacted the seller on Ebay to find out why it wouldn't go through; they sent a suspect looking email back. So thought I would try to order another "cheapish" set off amazon. Ordered them from a trader on Amazon, they were were meant to arrive within about a month, they never came and then the delivery dates got changed when they didn't arrive... After just over a month I put a claim into Amazon as the seller/trader never contacted me back; Amazon accepted my claim and refunded me my £££'s back to my account, I believe the seller has now been taken off Amazon although the same badges are still on the amazon website but from loads of different traders so be warned. Tried ordering the ebay badges again just to see if it would work this time as I was getting desperate. This time it went through with the same seller I contacted months ago and I was ready to start getting emails typed up to ebay help etc just in case they didn't arrive, but they did. Not sure what to do with the GT86 badge though, either remove it completely or have another go at plastidipping that.

Pictures don't work.

HKS OBD Link for FA20 - Oil temp, diagnosis etc
Cerastes replied to Lucas's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
I was really interested in this until I saw the price. I was expecting a third of that price, sorry but as far as I know it's just an obd cable and an app. -
Might be interested too, says couple hrs drive for me so it's doable. Only issue is it's on a Saturday and I work most Saturdays.

I kind of wished I had a dyno before putting stuff on just to see what it was before. I guess at the time I wasn't fussed about the power; I'm still not but just would have been nice to know I guess.
-
Nice write up. Decent gains on dyno. Did you have the TD EL before though? So just a change on the catback? One thing I would like to know on my car, the sort of power it's making. Although I suspect a lot less than most on here. Wish I was closer to the TD guys.

Oh I would suggest doing a chip that isn't that visible to get some practice in, hence why I did my wheel arch before I will attempt the front and roof chips.
