I've still not heard anything on mine; last time I contacted them was end of last year if I remember correctly and they said they would send a letter when it's ready to be recalled.

I don't think they are specific to year. I believe even the new models use the same size, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes it's a known issue I have been told. I had over 100 emails on one item lol. I have noticed other issues on the forum though.

I'm getting emails about this one every 15mins now. 22 emails... Nope 23 now, just seen another come in.

I think we all know what it looks like now, there have been so many leaked photos etc. I'm just interested in what the prices would be, but I suspect £50k+. This should be in non GT/BRZ section though.

What do people classify as "unnecessary"? I think Dashcam is very important with lunatics on the road. I think the only other thing is my phone is sometimes on charge when on long journeys... But all these are turned off or not connected when the car is not running.

Is that classified as a "recall" for Subaru to fix free of charge? (I'm too lazy to read all that). If so, I wonder if Toyota is doing the same?

Congratulations Kev. Looking forward to the sprint series calendar next year. As I'm really keen to at least attend 1 or 2 next year. It's difficult with my job as I work Saturdays and some can be a long drive away. Also doesn't help that my job insist that I book my annual leave nearly a year and a half ahead, I already have all my dates booked for next year but no one knows the dates for sprint yet.

@The Minion Toyota refused to replace my battery few months ago, saying it was "good". Well it would be "good" after driving 12 miles to get to them. So you're lucky they replaced it.

It turns a little bit, but then feels like nothing happens and if you keep trying to turn eventually it will turn. It is very odd though.

@Chess010 Yes I tried clockwise and anti clockwise until my fingers started hurting. Even tried with pliers but then worried it might snap after reading Rob's post. @Church yes will try WD40. Will try tomorrow as it's so dark now. I will try to wiggle it slightly as Chess has suggested. Fingers crossed. Thanks.

Didn't read my post then? I can't get in the car to open bonnet to charge the battery. Tried the key numerous times, even with pliers gripping the key as it's so difficult/uncomfortable to hold. Also worried about it snapping like others have had happen to them. Why is it difficult to open the door.

I can't get in mine at all. The battery in car is completely dead. No flashing red light in car. Tried key in door, turning left and right does nothing. Look a right idiot, can't even get in a car. Any ideas?

I have just called my local Toyota dealer, and mine is due for the recall . However, they are waiting from Toyota to find out what parts are needed etc. They will be in touch, so will wait to hear from them. I can only assume they will want the car for 1 week to carry out the work.

Aww shame you have to sell too. Loads of people selling. I hardly use mine too but I don't want to go through the hassle of selling it. Very surprised we buy any car offered as much as that! They normally offer a lot less than what a dealer would offer and they offer very little as it is.

I've never polished glass before, didn't think you could. I just use Glass cleaner to clean glass. Only thing that I polish is paintwork.

Where are you based as postage would cost a bit I believe. I have no idea but a quick search on ebay you can buy them for £45.

I may have mine spare. If I can be bothered to find them in the loft.
