Here's some pics of the diffuser fitted. Difficult to get a clear shot of it. Now I have to do something about that big arch gap and the tyres sitting too far into the centre of the car. Was thinking about some new alloys at some point...

GT86 Cobra 4-1 Un-Equal Length De-Cat Manifold
Cerastes replied to Gareth H-DEV's topic in Horsham Developments
Cobra do a manifold now? The picture looks like it has a small cat on it? -
Fitted the diffuser with the help from dad. Required a lot of modifications as it was a Chinese copy, had no holes drilled into it and no screws. I would have got a pic but it's started raining. I will try to get one or two tomorrow. Time to think about handling now...
-
Nice. Probably a silly question but when you fit a supercharger doesn't the manifold get changed too? As I thought the manifold was a "limiting" factor; so surely fitting a supercharger and changing manifold would give you a better performance boost? If so, that would make the exhaust note change slightly? As Paul said, Q300 is a good catback for a better exhaust note but not being overly loud. It was the one I was planning to get until I came across a 2nd hand Avo; which I love.

Spotted - Black GT86 with aftermarket exhaust - Chinnor
Cerastes posted a topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
Just thought I would put it out there in case they were a member of the forum. Was about 18:20 today in Chinnor; Oxfordshire. Sounded a bit like a Cobra exhaust -
And you have the Tein A's @Lauren? Well looks like I am getting the Eibach lowering springs second hand. But not sure if I should just get coilovers now
-
Sorry, @Ade and @Church you're both saying you need to change other parts if you just get lowering springs? am I reading that right? Or do you mean beneficial to change/upgrade those parts?
-
I think we need a poll on what coilovers everyone has. I was tempted by Meister R's then I saw another thread about Flex A's which despite being horrible to look at, look like they perform well.

Little security/safety feature. Bought the Mobius dashcam as I saw someone else with it on the forum, thought it looked quite discreet and it got some good reviews on quality. When it arrived, I realised it didn't come with a mount or a long enough cable (my thought for ordering at 1am and not reading things). It just come with a small USB cable, about 10cm long. Ordered a mount. In the mean time I tested the camera out, unfortunately I could not get my PC to recognise it. I tried all USB ports, different USB cables, restarting pc, turned pc off etc etc. Then while looking for ideas on how to fix it and FAQ's I came across the NextBase 402G (£20 more than Mobius; £15 if you include the mount and probably by the time you purchase a long enough cable it would be about the same). Decided to send back the Mobius and mount that I ordered (next day pick up by Hermes; although it wasn't next day ). Before I sent it away, I thought I would try connecting it to my brothers laptop and it worked straight away; so probably my PC. However the Next Base has a lot more features. Next Base has all the cables, the mounts, plug and play, just as good picture quality, GPS, motion detection, and other useful features like if it detects a sharp movement (ie someone crashes into you) it will save the video. Not sure if the mobius had that. Software seemed quite useful too, shows speed, location on a google map, average speed, etc. I think the speed can be stamped on to videos too, but I turned that off NextBase was really easy to set up thanks to the screen (although I didn't really want a screen as it makes it larger) but it helped a lot with setting up. The issue is the size of it, I want it to be discreet as I will have to remember to take it with me/hide it in the glovebox. All that writing on it too, *sigh* I really don't want all that writing on it, again discreet is the key. So if I do forget to take camera with me/hide away it will stand out to people. Also the screen stays on while driving; although I have been told it can be turned off but haven't found the option for that.

More comfortable than the stock springs? I always thought coilovers were harder as they are aimed at semi racing/semi road or full racing.- 36 replies

The black and red gearknob is wrong, I'm sure reverse is up and left, not down and right; correct me if I am wrong as I may be getting it confused with company vans.

Nice good read, I read it all... test me go on I have the same air con controls on mine I also put a bit of Carbon fibre effect above them where the hazard light button is. I thought about the Gauge rings too; tempted on them. Agree on Fensport too, wonderful service. Keep us updated on the Meister R's, I'm really tempted by them even though I don't track the car (yet... however the £800 or so is a lot for me).- 36 replies

I heard the Meister R ones are very good. There was an article on them on a forum, in fact might have been this forum?
-
Looks good, have you tinted your back windows?
-
Ditto. But not just yet, need to save a bit
-
-
That was quick
-
Aww so tempting. I'm meant to be saving
-
Aww wish I had known. Ordered few days ago from same place, should be with me soon.
-
Like the tints.. another thing to add to my list
-
Agreed. I went all the way to Scotland for mine, then drove it back to London.
