tap-to-turn was what I did it for, 4 flashes with a flick of the stalk, my 10 year old van has this the going home lights are nice too. The relay died after a few days so i've gotta do this all over again soon with its replacement.

A pretty easy job, i was just frustrated with all the guides being LHD! So, first, you need: 1x Phillips head Screwdriver 1x medium Flathead Screwdriver 1x tiny flathead screwdriver A light First remove the side pannel, drivers side, by inserting a flathead, push up to pop the clip. Carefully pull the panel off by hand note where all the clips are. Undo the lower Phillips screw. Now carefully pull off the panel with your dimmer switch in, lots of retaining clips, see pictures, use two hands. Now, using the light you should be able to see the relay on the right hand side of the column, it's Grey and has FLASHER on it! (Little box top Left of 3rd pic) You can try to get the relay out of the white retaining clip, using the tiny flat head, the barb is rear facing, OR just pull the whole thing down, relay and clip. Once the relay is free, unclip the loom, white tab up top on the relay. Clip in your new relay. Clip relay back into holder/holder back into car. Re install plastics carefully! Don't forget the screw! Reference LHD video: 4:30 onwards, you don't need all the lower panel down!

I went used. You can sort out your own finance cheaply enough nowadays. Nothing too scary to look out for! I'd say travel for the right car, they can get cheaper the further north you go, with some great deals to be had with a little patience. Don't be afraid of good quality aftermarket bits on car either.

Just wanted to see where the clips where so as not to break the plastics, hence the pics! Got a habit of snapping stuff 😂 But yeah, an easy job!

The GT86's are a little cheaper in the UK as there is more units sold and thus more choice. Personally I'd go for another colour, not a ginge fan. Spec wise its personal preference, but manual box was a must for me, even if the clutch feels a bit pants.

essentially you're treating it as 2x2cyl engines with a common crank, so the turbos must be sized for the optimum exhaust output of each bank. I'd guess 2x smaller units have a better turbine angle that spool at a lower RPM and combined still deliver the same as a big single. The main drawback aside from thermal efficiency and lack of charge cooling, is cost. 2 smaller units all plumbed is gonna be more than one bigger one. I'd rather get a variable vane big blower myself, and run anti-lag if spool is a concern.

Yep, essentially wastegates stop you feeding too much boost, but when you have direct electronic control of the drive transmitted, I guess you can just stall the shaft? And yes, these are far more likely to be eventually available to us than direct-drive KERS.

The ideal is the electric turbocharger, F1 style, but we are a way off those being available off the shelf. Theory goes: Split a turbo in half, add electric motor instead of center bearings. These are larger and thus have packaging issues. Turbo is then spun electronically to provide power at WOT where it would usually lag, IE low rpm WOT situations. Over a certain RPM, exhaust gasses are sufficient to spin exhaust turbines at required RPM, motor switches to generator, being spun by the exhaust gasses whilst also transferring drive to cold side, providing boost, while refilling electronic anti-lag. Also the scavenging seems to remove the need for a wastegate, as they all seem to run without one? The challenge is packaging this system, increased strain on the engine from "1bar" manifold pressure almost instantly whenever the throttle pedal is touched, and the heat from the hot side on the electronic core. Essentially one up from an electric supercharger as this does energy scavenging too, creating electricity AND boost from waste gasses.

Fitting KW v3 coilovers which don't come with specific top mounts. I use it on the road daily so ideally want a rubber top mount but a little firmer? The Whiteline sounds good but as you say, not suitable.

How? According to the poster it has rods, and they look like 40mm units, so I bet it spools seriously quick with the right trim blades! Possibly more efficient than the Aussie twincharged one to boot.

Minimal costs, as alot of it flows quite nicely and you can lift and coast rather than hard brake.

Either it's me or MK roads, every car I've had has warped a set of discs at least once, these are pretty badly lipped too so I was expecting to have to replace them this summer anyway, was a little cheeky chucking another set of pads in. I think the constant 70mph-0-70-0 of roundabouts really doesn't help, as any more than 3 high speed stops kills most standard pads.
