Hi all, Not used forums properly for years, but figured I wanted to get stuck in again. I bought my WR Blue BRZ back in October, and documented collecting it and driving round the Highlands here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=47&t=1631757&nmt=The+Scottish+Subaru+BRZ+adventure&mid=162448 Will try to get to some meets this year, seen a few around Milton Keynes now, so a local meet could be fun, it got suggested on the Facebook page but I've deactivated my account. Thanks!

Nope! Road use only! It's done nearly 20k and these look like the original discs so I'm not fussed for £160 posted!
-
Just ordered the StopTech front discs to go with my Performance friction pads, as the standard discs are showing very early signs of warp. Oops.

Put me down as a maybe

Hi all, If I read my maintenance schedule correctly, I'm due a cam belt in March. I'm in MK. Anyone used any of the following Suabru dealers; Wellingborough Daventry Ayelsbury Will be needing a Belt and service, will check if i need box/diff oil yet, it will be on less than 20k at 4 years old. Or anyone know if I can use a good local Indy? - Ideally want to keep the warranty.
-
Thanks, will re-read. It will be out of warranty by the time 60 or 80k comes round so it will be either DIY or Indie Specialist, my housemate is ex Prodrive so no worries there, and I can do services without any drama, loathe paying £40+ an hour for a job that really isn't hard. Will probably do the fuel filter myself this year as at 4 years old I'm not sure I still want it on the car. @TTR What was the damage at Abbey? PM if you like
-
Ha. Awesome. That'll teach me for just reading the service book and not doing my homework!!!! Anyone got an accurate list of service schedules?
-
Probably, helping my housmate prep his MK1 Golf for Ultimate Dubs mid March, so earlier in Feb suits me, but we run a weather risk. I don't mind holding on till the weather breaks and we can do midweek evenings?

Yep, rear lights have to go, the car needs an exhaust and ideally a set of 18s with some sticky rubber on. I'd like it lower but live near some horrible speed bumps, and quite like just sailing over them now. Boost eventually, or an engine swap, depends on funds. Nope still OEM, just a change of wheels visually, and the Performance Friction/Yellowstuff combo on the car. Totally up for local meets!
