  1. My rear differential assembly with an m-factory 4.67 final drive and Super-Pro outrigger bushes. The diff is from my 2016 car and has about 35k miles on it. It was installed by Fensport and has been on for only 10k miles. https://www.fensport.co.uk/…/m-factory-4-67-final-drive-gt8… Flawless operation, the car pulls much harder than stock in all gears. You will be at 500rpm more in each gear than the oem diff at the same speed. The diff has Superpro bushes up-front (also called the outrigger or pinion diff bushes). This makes the car and shifting feel super connected, you feel and hear everything the diff and transmission do. The trade-off is that you will have to shift more often since the gears become shorter and it will increase your NVH (mostly because of the bushes, and the whine of the diff above 72mph because of semi-straightl gears) but if you read so far, you already have a louder exhaust and are into the race car feel anyway . £685 - this is a good price considering that the labor cost plus the cost of the final drive would be around the 1300 mark, and now you also get to you keep your current diff to sell or to put it back to stock later. Collection only (High Barnet - North London) or you arrange for shipping. Weight = 50Kg.
  2. I think they will fit, especially with et38. If you want to be sure you can write to OZ and ask them. I sent them this letter, and they got back to me in 48 hours: To: info@ozracing.com Dear Sir/Madam I would like to know if your wheel (put your own wheel spec here) can clear these Big Break Kit calipers on a Toyota GT86. I am giving bellow links to the templates for these brake systems: 1. Stop Tech 328x28: https://www.apcautotech.com/APCAutoTech/media/APCAutoTech/Files/WheelFitment/98-827-2430-01_FP.pdf 2. Essex AP Sprint Kit: https://www.essexparts.com/storage/wysiwyg/FT86_CP8350-300_front_wheel_template.pdf Thank you very much, .....
  3. I had the Essex AP kit. It's not worth it. Unless you are a race/track only car, focused on shaving the last 10th of a second from your timing, forget about it. Besides no dust boots and being expensive to import: - It squeals like crazy when coming to a stop on normal road, regardless of what pads you use, period. - It has less mass than other kits, therefore it will get hotter. You need high temp race pads to use with it. If you are using hybrid track/road pads (like DS2500) it will lead to "warping", i.e. pad deposits unevenly stuck to the disk, and require resurfacing. Also pads last less than you'd expect. I don't have experience with Reyland, but I had very good experience with the StopTech BBK , which has been very reliable. Done about 18 Track days and 14 airfield training days on them. Great quality, plug and play, never had a problem, much better experience than the Essex kit. Price-wise it comes about the same as Reyland.
  4. ** SOLD ** Just bought this HKS Hi-Power Spec-L (carbon tips) from Fensport for about £1,000 during the Black Friday sale (current price £1,110). https://www.fensport.co.uk/products/hks-performance-exhaust-system-high-power-spec-l-carbon-gt86-brz Asking price is £770 . In perfect condition, it has only been on the car for 3 days from new, and you are saving £340, a reduction of more than 30% from the original price. Collection from High Barnet, North of London, , 5 min from the A1/M25 crossing. Disassembled like you see in the first photo it will fit in the boot with space to spare. Total weight about 22lbs (10kg ). Also, happy to drive it somewhere half way if you are committed.
  5. Reduced to £770 (30% less than the current new sale price).
  6. Hey Ade, would you mind sharing the specs for the resonators ? Wondering if I could attach them to an HKS Hi-Power Spec-L that has the same issue you had, boomy at WOT around 3k, especially when combined with a Tomei decat EL manifold that seems to seriously increase those frequencies. The HKS is differentand the specs would help me figure out if they would fit. Cheers, Adi
  7. I am familiar with parts of SE London. We lived in East Dulwich for about 3 years, until 2012., still have friends there.

I'm also interested in a similar kind of front pipe. Do you know by any chance what resonator they used ?

    Exhaust Upgrade

What's wrong with full decat besides the MOT issue? Does it smell really bad ? Too loud ? MPH ?

    Exhaust Upgrade

Cheers guys, I really appreciate it. I am driving it a bit more and starting to get more used to it. It's not as bad as I initially felt, but still quite boomy on load 2.5k-3.5k. Will definitely look into a resonated front pipe or get a local exhaust company to replace the mini-muffler of the stock front pipe with a proper resonator. Would have been nice if the HKS one had a CAT, oh well :).

    Exhaust Upgrade

@Twigman Yes, I've got Tomei EL which probably bring things up a bit. I wonder if I added another resonator on either the front pipe or the down pipe would help.

    Exhaust Upgrade

@Twigman I just got my HKS spec-L . It drones around 2700-3300 rpm on medium to high load which is 75% of the normal driving range. My only other exhaust mode is Tomei EL header. I only had it for 2 days but considering going back to stock, unless I can fix it somehow. You really didn't have any drone?
  13. Looking for a complete black boot lid, either the later version with no spoiler , or one with spoiler complete. No incomplete / holes ones. Thanks
  14. What I'm worried about is if there could be any downsides to using eccentric bushes instead of normal ones, just like the potential for issues with the eccentric top mounts.
  15. @Church how much camber did you get just with the Pedders top mounts? Also, I understand you are using or used Powerflex Front Arm eccentric bushes that supposedly give you more camber. Were they any good ? Cheers

    Roll cage.
  17. Solved. It's a roll pin: https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3266211#post3266211
  18. I could easily get -2.5 in front using 2 camber bolt sets (16 and 14) on stock suspension and height. Makes a big difference on track.
  19. Does anyone know the part numbers or where to source the OEM differential front rubber bushes (also known as 'pinion mount' or "outrigger" bushes, not the rear ones)? I replaced mine with Superpro poly bushes and also having an MFactory4.65 final drive that whines, over time the NVH became unbearable on the road, especially at highway speeds. Now I am looking to put back the OEM rubber bushes but I can't seem to find a part number. One Toyota dealer said I would have to buy the whole diff casing, they don't sell them separately. Any ideas ? Or do you know anyone else that makes rubber soft (not poly) versions of these ? Otherwise I may have to buy a whole new diff. Cheers
  20. Thanks @vanko25 N01: This part is not supplied as an individual part because it is hard to assemble/disassemble due to structure. Any ideas?
  21. Does this look about right ? (This is the top driver side)
  22. I might have similar problem How would you know if they fit the seal kit ?

    Recommendations on brake pads?

Stoptech has replacement disks and with their 309 Sport Pads they were quite decent for both road and track when I started tracking the car. There is a set with both front and rear disks, pads, and SS brake lines for something like 660 GBP https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/brakes/brake-discs/stoptech-toyota-gt86-subaru-brz-13-15-subaru-impreza-wrx-08-14-front-and-rear-drilled-sport-kit.html They held well for about 18 track days, last 12 being with instructor full day pushing it to the limit constantly, needing new front pads every 2 track days (rears last forever).. Went to BBK in front after that. Still keeping same config in the rear - doing totally fine - just new pads once a year.
