  1. Same, when I first drove one. It needs revving high to move forwards and to do that you need confidence and the right roads - neither appear on a test drive around town. If you're buying it for the looks and the unique approach to car design (lightness, foccus etc) then you won't be disappointed. The drive will grow on you the more you experience it.
  2. Hi, no sorry it's not. There's a video above that gives a good indication.
  3. Bump - exhaust still available. Open to offers.
  4. Bump - wheels still available. Open to offers.
  5. Collection from Huddersfield preferred, but can meet half-way if required. ST XTA coilovers. Good condition, only on the car for approx 10k miles. Full review can be found here: https://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100030 £600 HKS intercooler. This is a part of the HKS supercharger system, but my supercharger broke. No idea what it's worth, so open to offers. Good condition, only on the car for approx 10k miles.

    Lower seats

Had same problem with some of the TVRs. Griffith and Cerbera were the only models I could get some level of comfort in with a couple of others almost impossible to get into, let alone get a comfy seating position. Probably need to try something like a Mustang as that will no doubt cater for the taller person. When I viewed the Cayman, the salesman did helpfully(?) point out that the 911 has far more space inside...

    Lower seats

I'm a similar shape. It's not perfect in the GT86 but better than some - I tried a Cayman (2010) and the seat wont go back far enough. Boxster my head hit the roof. z4 was surprisingly spacious. MX-5 (mk4) I couldn't even get my left leg in to sit down! Have an e46 BMW and when I get the seat/wheel correct then the armrest is in the way of comfortable gear-shifting. The joys of being not-average. Reminds me of first-cars - wanted a 106/saxo but my feet were too big and caught the pedals!

  11. Hi I'm considering buying this: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/toyota/gt-86/supercharged-toyota-gt86-----------------2013/6761749#&gid=1&pid=1 I believe it was originally owned by someone on here. I'm wanting it as a daily driver - I love the standard gt86 in every way apart from the power. So this seems ideal, however I've never owned anything modified so I'm a little intimidated. I live in Yorkshire, surrounded by really poor quality roads, so the coil-overs worry me a little, but they are adjustable so I'm assuming I can put them higher and on relatively soft settings which will result in similar to standard?! I don't want it to be ridiculously loud. The owner says that if I fit the OEM cat (comes with the car) then it will be quieter. Does that replace the " HKS Resonated Front Pipe " - excuse my ignorance? Looking at youtube and forum posts, the M7 exhaust sounds quite reasonable at idle and low-revs, which is what I am looking for. Also, I've read someone say that the v2 supercharger has fewer bolts than the v1/v3 and is unreliable as a result? Can anyone advise on this? Are there people with this same set-up on here that have run it for tens-of-thousands of miles? And finally - I understand that after fitting a supercharger, the ECU is re-mapped. How easy is it to remove the supercharger and then get the ECU back to standard? I'm just thinking if it turned out to be the wrong car for me - could I easily revert it to standard, sell the car for £14k and the supercharger kit for 3k? The market for these seems low, and I don't have a 2nd car so I couldn't wait 6 months for a sale if it's not suitable for me. Any opinions, preferably of owners of supercharged cars, much appreciated. I really want something more fun than an M135i - and I don't fit in a cayman Thanks!
  12. Looking for this little part. Can't find a part number anywhere in order to get it from Toyota - all the diagrams show it as part of the intake hose itself, when it's clearly a seperate part!
  13. Hi Minion, yes still have these available.
  14. I have coilovers for sale - see thread in for sale section.

    Meguiar's Foam ruined my car

Nothing to lose by washing it as normal - chances are that's all it needs.

    Meguiar's Foam ruined my car

So you applied it using a method that is not as recommended, and then even though it didn't foam due to incorrect application you then let it partly evaporate on your car, and then you came online and entitled your post "Meguiars foam ruined my car"? It won't be ruined, it'll clean/polish off, but this post is unfair to the company.
  17. That's tied to the registration number I believe - did you not know it was a cat C?
  18. As far as I know - yes. The cat-back exhaust was initially fitted to the car when it still had the secondary cat in place. With regards HKS manifold connecting to secondary cat - I would certainly expect it would fit as many people swap manifolds but leave 2nd cat in place. Cannot 100% guarantee this however. Selling only because car has been reverted back to standard for selling, after my supercharger broke.

    Good news

Hoping it's turbocharged so much! Two reasons - a simple remap always gives good gains, and upgrading a turbo set-up is always much easier and cheaper than adding the entire kit in from scratch. Come on Toybaru - do the right thing!!
  20. Open to reasonable offers on these parts - PM me.

    Big brake kit time?

I'm sure you both think you're winning the argument and that the other person is a moron. In reality, you look equally foolish. Go outside for a drive, it's sunny.
