  1. After some hubcentric spacers, don't mind two pairs being different if that's all I can get. After 4x 10-30mm spacers max 2x 20mm for the front and max 2x30mm for the rear but will go for 4x20, or 2x10-20 and 2x 20-30 for fronts and rears id two mismatching sets! Thanks a lot!
  2. I have a set of rays and there is literally a 3mm recess for where the studs would sit if I used bolt on spacers. I know on the rear i could get away with 25-30mm spacers but probably only 20mm on the front. Would 20mm be enough for the wheel stud to not protrude out the spacer. I assume not? Does anyone have first hand experience at what width a bolt on spacer with exceed the studs. If not ill probably have to go for the eibach ones that come with replacement studs. Would the studs be fine to use with factory wheels after? Thanks alot and please only tell me if you know for sure ive done enough speculation already haha!

    Prospective owner, some questions!

From what ive read the improvements are incredibly minor is seems there is a slightly better ratio final drive and just a bit more of a balanced car with a few minor tweaks to make it a bit better but much the same car, steering wheel buttons, make ur own suede dash for £100 : ) ,xenons, different front end, slightly nicer wheels. It almost justifies buying one of the slightly used MY17's however its something like 5K more investment and probably 3k worse depreciation and this money would be much better spent on the slightly older car and bah, id rather the aero anyway : )

    Ginger 2013 GT86 Auto 28k

I would have probably bought it a few months ago haha I think if you listed it on autotrader and pistonheads you shouldn't have too much trouble getting 13.5-14k for it and it's 10£ for pistonheads and 50£ for auto trader adverts make sure you get the most expensive auto trader advert or it's worthless
  8. Im really considering Upgrading to a forced intake setup. I will be going to Australia soon so I have to option to buy a kit there and ship it to mumsy or order one from japan to me while im there and do the same. Or im looking for a second hand one, or again I might go for the one Tuning developments offer. I'd like it to be as kind on the wallet as possible tho and after mark sold his turbo that im a bit sore I didnt buy its made me want it even more! If anyone knows what overseas models are well reviewed or where I should go to get the information id appreciate it. I'm sure id be able to find a second hand one whilst in australia as theyre car mad over there but that would really be my last resort. Just looking to weigh up my options and hopefully find a solution at a pocket friendly price!
  9. I did look at that but most people ask for what the cars worth plus 3-5k and it doesn't really save you anything. Also I got my car for about 2k less than its value and obviously their cars turbo is used. If I could get a used one for say 2-2500 and then it's probably 700 to fit it if I ever came to sell my car I could remove the turbo or sell it turbod and recoup almost all of that money back. Whereas that car for example would suffer in resale because the turbo wouldn't be worth removing and you paid a lot extra for it so it could be hard to sell. Plus my cars an aero and I wouldn't want a non aero hehe
  10. Im after one of the stubby aerials to replace my shark fin as I really dont like the look of it : P if anyone has made the swap from the old style to shark fin I'd love to buy the old one!

    GT-Eighty-Chris' Build

my motto is always second hand someone was selling a pair of bronze japanese racing wheels for like £400 with rubber which probably means your paying half for tyres half for the rims which is an insane deal and i think theyre still for sale. Failing that id make a wanted post and see what people have got!
  12. I just wish you told me what you bloody got for it so i can put it behind me!

    WANTED - OEM AERIAL

You're an absolute gem, I'll pm you my details, I've decided to put the beat sonic blaid on instead to be extra lairy Ordering those and some rokbokz black mud flaps from ft86 speed factory out about 100 dollars plus whatever necessary tax for the mud guards so probably 100£ and it's works outcheaper than rally armour and from what I've read equal quality with a better fit and should look the business and protect my skirts! Today I missed out on the house I wanted at auction after missing out on the same house being soldaa couple of months prior at the same auction house so I'm drowning my sorrows buying some parts as it will probably be a few months before I find another I like so I can dip into my savings 😂😂 sorry for the life story but again really appreciate it!

Just remembered from that picture i put the scion badges on instead because I thought they were pretty and now everytime I park up I get like 5 people walk past staring at the badge as if there was a really interesting shit on the floor in front of my car

    Parking Sensors

my sensors are okay I find but i rarely use them as i can generally just see where im going so they d only be useful if i wanted to really squeeze in close or if a pole jumped out of nowhere. On my TTS i had front sensors and a camera fitted but never used either not to mention the camera and sensors while reversing usually cut out the radio and you miss vital plot points! This is something I do not miss. Also a camera doesn't give a full or incredibly reliable picture so it should be used sparingly and dont trust it too much! Many people and companies advise to have both if having a camera as at some angles the camera might betray you!

    Second service

My car is coming up to 2 years old and i think the Toyota service is a pocket molesting £399 just because they do a few bodged fluid changes or something. Is there a GT86 specialist place I can go to for a service as I know it doesn't have to be done at toyota or a toyota dealer that does a proper job that anyone knows of. I am just south of leciester. I'm asking as I'm pretty sure I'd be a lot better off changing the fluids myself or having it done at fensport when i get my piping put in and a map but i still dont trust toyota to leave the fluids as is if I expressly tell them too or do a decent overall job from the stories ive heard from people and my car came overfilled with oil when i Purchased it. Thanks alot!

    Second service

I bought it from a little dealer in Torbay Torquay it wasn't even really cleaned and they had no idea what extras it had ect and it has been their demo car I asked if it had been run on premium fuel and he said it's best to just give it a tank every now and then of the premium stuff 😂😂
  23. http://www.thespeedline.com/ ordering some stuf from here. its about 15£ postage an item and 40£ postage for the diffuser. will be cheaper if i get another or a couple others to order something too. will be ringing them in a few hours so let me know if you are interested!
