sell the 0z's for lambo doors is that what you're saying?
-
Today instead of going to the tuning developments thingy I was waiting around for a chap to drop off a AVO 3" front pipe that i paid £100 for saving me a good £300 as i wont have to shell out for the tomei : P. During this time I waxed my car a couple of times and glazed it. Also waxed the interior orange pieces and now they are particularly shiny and distracting : )

Stock is 7.5j 48 offset if I'm I correct, my ce28s are 8j 44 offset so will probably be 10mm out, im tempted to get 10mm spacers just to give the car better looks and have them flush but I suppose I'll have to put them on and measure to double check how much space there is as I'm not sure how close it will be. Also my second hand set of rays with full new tyres was 1050 which is about the same as a jr set when accounting for rubber. but then if you bought second hand cast wheels they would probably be a lot cheaper as well. I think I'd only buy second hand either way but I'm far too thrifty.

A question for those of you who have installed UEL manifold + tune
jevvy replied to TheCaptain's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
It won't affect warranty unless that's is the part st fault but it wouldn't cause any issues if properly installed and it's not a moving part so it's no biggie and it shouldn't effect the reliability of your engine at all. I also have a k&n air filter which is supposed to be the best that I used for 1 day and then drove to collect my new intake from a member of the forum and then went home and put the new intake in. It was like 45£ new and I still have the box ect. Would like 37 posted if you're interested it's essentially new. I've got a hks el decat manifold ready to go in along with a second hand overpipe and front pipe I picked up, will need a map too then but it should improve the car greatly! Definitely replace the air filter it's almost as good as fitting a new intake -
I was thinking of getting the Whiteline kdt922 bushing kit as apparently it's a worthwhile mod for the Sake of 40-£50 I was wondering if anyone else has done it or is interested and perhaps we could do a group buy for the bushings or something as I'm sure a lot of people should be interested! Thanks a lot

thats just a dealer locater and theres no UK dealer, would have to order from US where since its just a few bits of rubber would probably be the same price to ship 5 instead of 1 and that would save like 4x 30-40 dollar shipping or something

https://www.nengun.com/rays/17hex-lock-and-nut-set will the supplied socket be trustworthy enough?
-
thanks alot for that lauren, just ordered from nengun 3 day shipping was the 2nd cheapest option, 26£ for shipping tho : P cost 88£ total but atleast I can rest easy knowing that my wheels wont fall off! When putting them on should i put tape in my torque wrench to avoid scratching or is there any other method. Or are scratches just inevitable. Also I bought the first second hand exhaust I could find (tomei type 80) and its particularly loud to be honest : P so the noise might not be an issue haha

Any idea what lug nuts I should get for my new rays, I dont think the stock ones will fit so will need aftermarket ones, preferably black
-
Because they are so soft will they last all that long? Also whats the best lug nuts to get for my new wheels alot of people dont reccomend using the stock ones again. Also i dont know if i need ones with a special pitch. Rays for rays? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RAYS-Style-Black-17-Hex-Lug-Nuts-and-Lock-Set-M12-1-25-Alloy-wheel-Nuts-R32-R33/221546048834?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D40656%26meid%3D6f56eaa44aff457dab881babc9208c6c%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D6%26mehot%3Dlo%26sd%3D221546397641 these seem like they could be okay no? They also do alloy nuts which show double the price in Japanese yen on the sticker but apparently aluminium nuts arent to be trusted

Lauren I ended up cancelling the deal with those other rays haha as i did the calculations I would have had to run a pretty badly stretched tire for them to just be legal or have flared the arches and it would have just been a bit on the edge and a bit of a pain. But i found a man who had imported a subaru from japan with 2000 miles on it, when he got it it came with CE28's bronze 17x8 and he had just put brand new Yokohama AD08's on them which wouldn't be my tire of choice necessarily as they're more of a track tire I think. After that he realized his brake kit didn't fit with them so had to change wheels and has sold them to me for £1000 with the tires and there are in perfect original condition with centre caps. So i think I didn't do too badly and the bronze should look amazing with my black car! Do you think I should change the tires straight away or do you think they will be okay for summer, definitely don't think they would be good in the cold. Thanks alot for being my agony aunt for wheelz <3

I'm with Adrian flux at the moment and my insurance is 1400£ yes I look d EVERYWHERE and yes they were the cheapest. I could get 900£ unmodded but what's the point in that!
-
I've cancelled insurance when I've sold cars 3-4 times it's simply an admin fee, they obviously only have to pay tax on the money they have kept from you and it would be counted monthly so the tax would be tiny. Various places the cancellation fee was always 40-60£ (direct line, quotemehappy and admiral I think I've cancelled with)

Mishimoto gear knob used for 10 mins, cost me 55 looking for 40£ It's fully boxed with everything ect rear tail lights and lower light asking £300? Perfect unmarked condition. I was thinking of disassembling and tinting everything dark but have decided to just buy lights instead not sure what they're worth but I'm sure Toyota charge a pretty penny
