  1. I have emailed them maybe we would get a discount for multiple orders and I'll double check but it seems like you'd save 15-30£ per additional set of lights reship cost is like 4£
  2. I have the oz racing aero alloys that I will be replacing shortly with 5m tread all round not sure what they'd be worth but I'd rather keep them than sell them under value
  3. Not paid a single import duty so far and I don't intend too! Brexit has already happened in my mind!

    Jev's gt86 aero

Over the past week ive fitted my new intake, played dress up with the engine bay, deciding what hoses to get still and waiting for my pulley covers to arrive. Valenti smoked side markers fitted, Rear visor fitted (side visors to come!) Random Japanese armrest fitted after much added felt tape to make it snug as a bug in a rug. Perrin drift button fitted along with a Cusco accelerator pedal. Currently torn between debadging or putting black ones on. Or just sticking a porche badge on it for a while for laughs. Plastidipped my firends baby blue wheels to black on his Bora, they came out ridiculously good. way better than expected. Was pitch black when we fitted them and he drove away so no after pics unfortunately : (

    Selling a car on eBay

In my opinion eBay is aweful, I've sold like 4 cars in the past year 😂 everyone who found me was on autotrader and I had auto/pistonheads/eBay ads for all. I'd just stick with the 10.99 pistonheads advert and the most expensive autotrader option and you'll deffo get it sold if you just price it the best deal.
  9. I'm about to order these and have them shipped to me by my friend in Australia, coming from a Japanese supplier in australia. Aero fins about £220 posted painted ina ny colour about 30£ cheaper unpainted TRD door stabiliser £125 Trd door handle protectors £28 like the carbon fibre look that fills behind the door handle with trd logo tomei exhaust extreme overpipe £225 This includes postage and import fees and are really good prices, this is what I'm ordering so I thought I'd open it up to anyone wanting the same item postage should be about a week and I can reship to your address for free. I'm only willing to do extras of the same item as mine as to not complicate things, I've had a lot of other stuff shipped to me and thought about doing this before as it seems like pretty decent savings. Let me know and I'll make these posts in the future when I'm importing bits. I'll be sorting my order out tomorrow evening most likely so will need the money before then. I don't know how admins feel about this as im just a random forum lurker but I've bought lots of things from you fellow peeps and sold a couple things as well. Shipping is fairly expensive an I'm pricing these about what extra it costs me to add them to my order and am paying the sort of base shipping cost myself so you will be getting them cheaper than me. Obviously I cannot accept returns unless you are willing to pay the shipping back to Australia. But I have ordered lots of bits and it's all come in a timely fashion and been the name brand stuff. Cheers!

Put my tomei and blanking plate on today and my blitz intake, holy rumble. Still need to get a manifold and piping for some sexy airflow

    Parking Sensors

id go for factory sensors as retrofitting can be a nightmare and they're never ever perfect ive found. Look at the pictures and you can see if they have rev sensors or not. Most do but dealers don't list it. Most places charge like 150-200 for a camera and 2-450 for after market parking sensors from my experianence. OEM are usually more.

  15. Think this is like 99£ new or something? Only want 80 it's brand new and unused grimspeed pulley covers wont let me upload a picture saying file is too big? Has something changed on the website? It's the black grimspeed pulley cover
  16. id sell it alongside my other tomei peices and im sure it would command a higher resell price due to the higher rrp of the tomei overpipe. either way its pittance and I get to maintain the same branding throughout my setup and im confident it will hold the value. Also You mentioned nothing about the TRD stabs lelelelelelelele, but i don't want to get you started again
  17. ebays still 130 and bid so could go for more. so for the sake of an extra 50£ or whatever i get one quite a bit under RRP in uk and get to keep it the same brand as the rest of my kit and I should hopefully see that 50£ back when i resell it. Seems like there no real right or wrong decision and the cost is minimal
  18. It's like 50£ cheaper than tomei here, if I factor in resale value vs a noname one it's probably about the same loss in value and my other bits are tomei. So the opportunity cost is really 0

    Anyone regret going turbo?

I don't know if this is as relevant but my other car was an Audi tts just sold , 270bhp turbo 2l, now with my gt86 only with a new intake and exhaust ATM, soon to put a new overpipe and manifold in it and have a remap to see how it does naturally aspirated but that should take it to 225bhpish? Admittedly the 4wd Audi was extremely fast to accelerate ect and it is a sort of similar car. I prefer driving my gt86 as it sits now over my audi. I only ever miss the power when overtaking but thats probably because I got used to just blowing past anyone. The 85 is incredible drivable and I can drive it to the limits of its ability basically I can use full throttle for more than 2 seconds without doing 85 and having to brake because I've caught up with the car infront, whereas If it was to have 270+ bhp is probably prefer the Audi tts at that point just because the brakes are about 30 times better which would be an expensive upgrade on the 86 to match. The gt86 corners way better ect so you maintain enough speed in corners to not need the turbo to get back up to speed imo. Speaking from country lane driving experience where I live. whereas in the Audi because the brakes are so good and it accellerates so incredibly fast it's nicer to corner much, much slower. Plus once your upto speed how often are you going to be accelerating from 60-100? And if you maintain a lot of speed in corners it makes the turbo not incredibly important at that point. When overtaking in my Audi I found myself over speeding also which isn't a problem in the 86. Also for the price of a turbo kit you can geta 70k mile well kept 350z which would also be a more cost effective investment and you get two swanky japs on your drive. Saying all this I still want to bloody supercharge my gt86 😂😂 hopefully you found my rambling of some relevance even though I didn't really answer any of your questions btw how inform do you have to service your turbo'd and is it more expensive

Just removed the rear brake light as it's disgusting to look at. Have the intec light ready to go in but waiting to decide whether to get a darker tint in the rear window first. Won't let me upload pics

780£ :(((((( but I got like 28 pieces painted and the body shop is a family friend and he said if I ever chip it he will keep the paint handy to fix it. So it was worth paying whatever he wanted I was going to either wrap it all in orange suede or pleather myself but when it's 28 peices, best off leaving it to them I thought gunna wash and wax it all when my wax comes though and it should look a bit posh

KenwooD DNX716WDABS, I was either going to use this or one of the Australian wide models, but they don't have nav or dab so I had to go for this. It's actually better than my pinoneer f88 avic that I had in my old car! However I'll warn you the model is extremely rare and expensive I managed to call a German company and get an ex display at quite a large discount tho. I suppose they don't sell many because no one knows the model exists? Ps gearknob was 12£ from china on eBay and it feels really nice and is really heavy. Shame I'm a plumb with an auto so I only get to pull it too and fro tho, if you meant the black one it was 55£ but I'm selling it for 40£ and I used it once 😂😭
