It is i purchased it to use but ive found out my avo frontpipe is non standard so needed a custom overpipe costing 200£. I also purchased an o2 bung and polished it heavily ;). Sue me for asking what its worth when i came to sell it id rather keep it as spares than not get what its worth and give someone else the chance to enjoy it. Is this against forum rules or morally wrong? I don't feel it is as i would just leave it in the shed if i couldn't get what its worth. Surely its not a requirement to state how much you paid for an item when you purchased it nor is it anyone's business to point it out? Just trying to clarify if you are calling me a scumbag or not <3- 18 replies

also you should be able to find a good condition bumper on ebay for around 50-200£ try to get best condition for the money a respray is going to cost around 300£ id guess. Id roll with a mucked bumper until a decent condition white one comes up on ebay. -

i was selling my rear lights for 50 each but was hoping to sell the rears together as to not be stuck with one indefinitely 65 posted for the right lights sounds incredibly reasonable? -

The picture of the wheel in the brand new box shows the colour indoors with light coming through the window the other pictures are with the sun beaming on them I have the wheel nuts that came with them yes i wasnt sure if they were stock nuts or for those wheels but i guess i can include them yes! here are some pics on the car- 18 replies

Trip to foxton locks with the missus, she had to sit and watch me wash it beforehand oh and the no fun bung in the exhaust to protect her precious little ears from the full decat tomei t80 beast 😂
-
I took mine off while I had the bumper off anyway and the retainer clips were dug so far into the pins that they came off with them so it's sort of an inevitability they don't really do anything anyway

Amazon it's like 5£ a badge

I'd advise against putting anything too hot on paint if younpored boiling water for too long it would probably make the paint bubble as would applying to much heat from a heatgun/hairdryer

Goo gone and a heatgun/hairdryer

New wheels (perhaps a bigger size to fill the wheel arch gap better?) You'll want your wheels to be about the same size regardless so it will just be a case of more rim less imost likely. Ive some sets i need to clean and list that you might be interested in haha Lowering springs (again to fill the wheel arch gap better) Ive got some tein coilovers street flex i need to sell if youre interested id only want like 350 : P ignoring that max you want to lower it is 25mm just on springs and you shouldnt have too much problem with speedbumps or anything still at 25mm Exhaust System (currently looking at the Cobra Non-Resonated exhaust, but unsure whether to get just the cat back exhaust or the full system - has anyone had experience of both? I want it to be loud - but one thing I don't really like is the pops and bangs which some exhaust systems can have... I just want it to sound sweet, powerful and throaty). I have a tomei type 80 and it sounded amazing when i had everything else stock and was literally just not too loud. Probably the most powerful and throaty exhaust but since ive removed both the cats and but larger piping in its far too loud : P best idea is to watch some youtube vids on exhausts i suppose or come to a meet and listen to some other peoples! Valenti lights (just ordered the smoked black / gold edition tail lights from fensport, didn't go with the fourth brake light because unsure on rear diffuser yet. I'm also unsure on whether to replace the headlights with matching Valenti's?) Ive got valentis all round apart from the headlights and im about to do the front fogs and indicators in smoked then i just need to pull the trigger on the headlights : ) The bottom brake light is a must and I dont think you will remove it so id recommend it as it looks alot better. Id say leave the headlights til last as for the money theres better things to do imo but its on my list! Antenna (considering a shark fin, but there's lots of possibilities out there, I hear most people go with the BeatSonic but which one, and which website to get it from? Not too sure about this, some people like them and some others don't, depends on the style which suits the car best I guess - also possibly considering a roof spoiler but again unsure on this) Ive got the beatsonic blaid and i really like it other than that you can just get a shorty or a shark fin. 86 speed factory and american websites are probably your best bet Hood (maybe, it'll take some time to get a new one due to the pricing of them! I like the ones with vents etc such as what Seibon offer, but maybe not a carbon fiber one? It would be great to get one either to match the 61K body colour, or an unpainted one to then have it sprayed perhaps - but again where would I get parts sprayed, does anyone have a recommendation just in case I end up buying unpainted parts from the above list?) Getting a bonnet sprayed is going to cost 100's and its always lots cheaper to buy them ready painted if possible due to the price of hoods id only look to snag one second hand as theyre normally 1/3 of the price! but i buy everything second hand because im stingy : P
-
I asked first 😂😂 would you do 30 plus postage any idea how much painting would cost?
-
Near Leicester here which im sure counts! Ztox I just replaced my piping and had a remap. Have a 2.5 to 3" avo overpipe to a 3" avo frontpipe followed by the type 80 and the HKS EL manifold. Holy shizz is it loud. The girlfriend Is scared sitting in my car now : P How do you deal with it mate. Parts of me loves how loud it is and tunnels are ridiculous. But it feels a bit much hahahah

ive had alot of bodywork done at illiffes in market harborough. I dont think theyre neccesarily the cheapest but they dont cut corners at all and the chaps a family fried and would rectify any work that didnt come out as expected i had most of my interior sprayed orange about 28 items and also had my wing touched up where the previous owner had scraped and not repainted it properpy. Also lots of old cars ive had. So i can recommend them highly however id look for a bodyshop thats done alot of gt86's as they would be slow to remove parts ect as theyve only ever worked on my gt86 but they allowed me to remove my own bumper/wing in the car park to preserve labour costs : P

You can go to a Gt86 specialist like tuning developments ect if you live close! Any garage that used genuine parts won't invlidate warranty
-
I guess I'll swap them over at some point maybe then, thanks for the info!

so i have to swap the valves over from my old wheels? the light for me still comes on and off as I drive. so what does the button actualy do? haha
