Good to see everyone. Love the S/C...P3 Gauge does look and work well...I'll post some pics after Rob's weekend work schedule :32 (17):
-
Well, I'm still planning on heading down too and the gauge is still of interest, i'll wait for the pressure sensor...not doing any more track days this year
-
Great news! Once we have them in a couple of cars, I'm sure more people will jump .I expected an extra cost for the sender, so no problem (within reason of course).
-
No problem. Thanks!

Count me in too including Oil Pressure sensor - any chance of getting fitted after Keethos' exhaust on the 26th?(It'll be the 2nd time I've visited so would be rude not to buy something :32 (14):)1. Rob2752. Quixote

I'll try to pop down for a meet up...wouldn't mind picking up one of those vent gauges at the same time if poss...although I'd like to get Oil Pressure included, so I'll ping Mark in the other thread and see if they can manage it after your exhaust :32 (25):Planning for a few track days next year... -

You're right on shop...Garage is for storing cars...Bonnet = hat, Hood = bonnet...Boot = kind of shoe, Trunk = boot...Windshield = Windscreenblower = s/clube = oil and it can be changed in a jiffy ;)e-brake = handbrakerotor = brake discand apparently a 5.7 litre (350ci) engine is still a small-block! -

Cable can be bought anywhere, you just need to let Adrian know the id when he sends you the map as far as I know...Without the map, the cable is useless though as you can't run any diagnostics / datalogs without a map ... -
A big wing needs big power imo ;)Save for the turbo first! Those Enkei's will look good on a red car

Can't be any worse than Scoobies, can it? :32 (1): Sorry, couldn't resist...It'll take a lot to get me back to a BMW, after-sales care was awful...my local Toyota dealer is excellent on service (so far...touch-wood etc etc).

Funny that, I thought the same thing when I sw it - think the middle bit of the front lip would really finish it offLooks great though

Pics aren't working for me :(We'll just have to meet up so you can show me in person

At the top end you're running an AFR of 11.5ish which is rich, not lean...How long since the ECU was updated, as if it's a recent update, the ECU may well be set conservatively by default and have to learn a more aggressive timingThis was certainly the case in the past with my EJ20How many runs did they do?On my peak power run @ Abbey, at the top end mine as between 12.5 & 12.75, which is leaner than you through your whole rev range, but it may be a factor of intake temp too - the abbey day was cold, so more air coming in. I dont' know if this ECU runs closed or open loop fuelling at WOT...

Looks like a great turnout...seeing as I'd been out Thursday night, figured I'd be good so we went messing about in a boat on the riverHave to say I'm not normally keen on white wheels, but, on the white car, with what look to be non-oem red calipers, they look good! -
If I go FI, I'd want 3 displayed! EGT, Boost & Oil Pressure...not sure which cylinder in the FA20 might be subject to running leanest with stock fuelling, but definitely worth investing in EGT with the sensor in the right collector if you're running boosted.

Anyone know what the "Pre-installed in OEM vent" option on the P3 website means?Does it make it a much simpler install?
-
What amp is that? Oops - just noticed it's in the top post...this forum isn't playing nice with chrome on my mac :(Nice install btw...mine is a lot more stealth-like until I turn it up :32 (18):

What do you mean by heavy duty ICE? I know our batteries are bad, but I'm hoping my amp doesn't cause that much of an issue!!Love the gauge, could you link where you go it from and also a FAQ on the install? I'm lazy doing this stuff but if it's easy, i'd love to have an Oil Temp gauge there!Even better would be a multi-gauge that can switch between multiple sensor inputs...oil temp, battery, boost
