Thanks. They're probably not a good choice for track use, then, whereas they're good for road use where deep heat cycles are nowhere near as punishing.
-
What didn't you like about them? I don't have a BBK but I did replace the front discs with something better. Braking seems better than stock (I also have Cosworth Streetmasters on the rears).

I have found PFC Z rated really good for road use. Sent from my LG-G7 using Tapatalk

It doesn't matter - if you want 230whp (which translates to around 270bhp) then you can stay with the stock manifold and exhaust. However, pushing 300bhp (which I am just over) does need those things if you want an efficient system with a modicum of good fuel economy thrown in.
-
Some people have said that if you have boost, the stock manifold and exhaust don't matter. This is wrong. Not only does a good manifold flow a lot better, but I have had differences between them with dyno graphs to prove it. For instance, my Rogue manifold gives better performance than the TD one I used to have. I do have the TD exhaust, though, which flows well. Sent from my LG-G7 using Tapatalk

All-in, including installation by Abbey and dyno tuning, just over £5k. About 30k miles. I've had it for 16 months. No issues with it at all, it's a superb bit of kit.

I have marked one of these senders as a spammer. Other Mods have done the same with others.

I can thoroughly recommend the Harrop kit. It feels like a bigger engine and is not like a turbo, which to me is a benefit.

It's been interesting commuting to work on the motorway these last two weeks, in damp to fully wet and cold conditions. Dropping to 5th to overtake, I've several times heard it over-rev as traction breaks, just backing off the pedal a little to regain grip. It's actually done it in 6th a couple of times, too. The BRZ is incredibly stable and hasn't wagged its tail at all. The 235/40 PS4s are very predictable, too. Got to be careful with the supercharger sometimes!

I'm thinking of doing the same thing as that bracket is a pain.

To be fair, the immobiliser is not original equipment, it's UK installed.

@SimonG68 has some nice mudflaps fitted. Worth asking him.

If the moderation duties could be shared, I would volunteer. However, I administer a hi-fi forum and it can be quite demanding of my time. What I'm saying is, I would be glad to help but only if another 2-3 also volunteer so that the pressure is not too intense on one alone.

They feel really good with great stopping power and not much greater force required. No squealing at all - I did use proper brake lube on the ends and backs. PFC Z rated fronts, Cosworth Streetmaster rears.

Welcome from me, Crystal White BRZ here. I agree, the MY2017 has some nice features with the improved dials with water, oil and battery gauges my favourite. Sent from my LG-G7 using Tapatalk -
I'm using Easy Tether Pro over USB. It's better than burning power creating a wi-fi hotspot.

When it puts a wheel over the edge.... !

Don't use screen mirroring - it's a mistake. Feed your phone's internet via USB or wi-fi hotspot and use apps directly in the Android head unit. No lag, excellent performance and the display is properly as you would expect a 7" landscape format to be, rather than a rendered phone screen. I have Waze and web radio running simultaneously and there are no problems even through poor signal areas.
-
No problem with my Chinese Eonon unit. It's been good and still runs Waze and digital radio well.

I put in Sainsburys super unleaded last week and found the car less smooth, especially in pickup from idle. Back to the usual Shell V-Power and it's smoother again. My car with supercharger is mapped for Shell. Fuels do make a difference.
