No I don't think so. The coupling positions seem to be different between the systems. Sent from my LG-Q6 using Tapatalk

That's one hell of an accomplishment. Well done! Sent from my LG-Q6 using Tapatalk

Welcome, Dotty, nice BRZ. I did contemplate that colour before plumping for white.

OFT stage 1 review on stock car. 0-62 times measured

Good choice, I have a TD UEL (somewhat similar to the Ace) and the sound with a good exhaust is infectious. More importantly, the midrange torque with the appropriate tune is great. -

The OFT manifold (header) looks a fine piece of work. Are you intending to upgrade to that? -
Superb photos, really great art in their own right. Lovely car, but I must admit I prefer your old Works wheels compared with the Regamasters.

Great work! Do tell us what it's like to drive and don't forget the club meet.

The best performance mod you can make to the GT86/BRZ is a better exhaust manifold and remap. Nothing else comes close. There is a big debate on best wheel sizes and tyres, see the threads on those.

Definitely - it's time I meet some more members.

You can get most Rotas in 17 x 8 ET35 (mine are) which fit perfectly.

Bump, dropped to £125 collection, final price.

Thanks - glad it's not just me. Did a fast run down the motorway this morning and it was definitely louder pulling away from the slip road roundabout afterwards.

I came from a Honda. Both it and the Subaru are well put together cars. After four BMWs of questionable reliability, I'm not looking back. Sent from my LG-Q6 using Tapatalk

They usually loosen the bolts holding the mid-pipe bracket in place to install a new exhaust. Worth checking, mine were loose and it sounded like a can rattling under there. Sent from my LG-Q6 using Tapatalk

A good tune works wonders with a decent manifold, doesn't it? Touring Belgium at the moment, I know what you mean about loudness. Mine sounds great on country roads, is very quiet at speed on motorways but I feel a little guilty around town at times. Also, it might be just mine but I'm sure it gets louder after a long hot run. My MY2017 has been flawless so far. I'm not going to push it too far on the tuning as it's my daily driver. Sent from my LG-Q6 using Tapatalk

At first you may feel that it's too notchy, but you get used to the slick precision of it. I still don't like my 5th to 4th downshift much, I have to help it with some diagonal pressure.

Looking on some advise on what stereo to fit in my brz
MartinT replied to Noel's topic in GT86/BRZ General Chat
The Seicane is supposed to be good, but you need to research the blanking plate for installation in the BRZ. I've seen at least one video of successful installation in an 86/BRZ. [ -

Don't go for the Starlink one in current BRZs. It's shit. -
I personally found the smaller resonator to be loud - not raspy, just loud across the frequency range and a little droney in the car at speed. The larger resonator is just fine with me - can still be loud when giving it serious welly in a narrow street, but otherwise well behaved and there is no drone on the motorway. The bass note at idle makes it sound like a serious car. The torque is very noticeably better than stock, it gives the car so much more flexibility. Acceleration and willingness to rev at the top end is also much better. Overtaking in 6th in the stock car is almost impossible, now it's quite possible and eliminates the need to drop to 5th on some occasions.

Welcome! I can highly recommend the TD NA kit and resonated exhaust. Consider the bigger (quieter) resonator if you don't want it too loud. Performance is very nice.

I think it's traction control. Happens in Map 1, too. Sent from my LG-Q6 using Tapatalk
