Bump, will accept £140 with collection.

You can get them in black. https://www.rotashop.co.uk/default.php?search=blitz&x=0&y=0

This is the fitment you get with 17 x 8 ET35 offset. 225 tyres.
-
If you're going with 17 x 8 wheels, which I agree is a good size (I use Rota Blitz in this size), then a better offset is ET35 which will give you good fitment in the wheel arch rather than being set too far in. Use 225/45 R17 tyres.

I borrowed the TD Yaris and drove there. I had a few hours to burn!
-
The Trafford Centre will occupy a few hours if you eat there as well.

I use map 2 (auto-blip) and it does do that occasionally. I always thought it was traction control getting a little sensitive about the sudden application of the clutch together with throttle that does it. EDIT: auto-blip shouldn't apply when changing up.

Hah - show off!

I'm driving to Belgium in a week's time and wondered if our headlights have a nice mechanical switch as in some BMWs in order to redirect the headlights for driving on the right? Or do I need the usual self-adhesive headlight deflectors?
-
Ah, fair enough, I hadn't realised that.

A Seibon carbon fibre vented bonnet (hood) gave me a useful weight saving on my previous car as well as much needed cooling for the supercharger.

Welcome! Your white BRZ looks just like mine - same model year. I love your attention to detail, too. Nice work so far. My sister lives west of Houston (Richmond) and I know those back roads a little, especially the drive to Brazos Bend State Park to see the alligators. Unfortunately, it's always been in rentals. Oh well!

I agree with that. I did a good job with acoustic insulating the four speakers and woofer in my previous CR-Z, but it's a lot of work removing the door cards and other panels. Nowadays, I just listen to R4 and save the music for my 'big rig' at home.
-
This response from PattersonLaw sums up the many 'opinions' out there: - Are you allowed to drive in the UK whilst listening to music via a pair of headphones? - Yes as long as there can be no suggestion that you are not in proper control of the vehicle or driving without due care and attention. The crucial thing is whether you are excluding any chance of hearing external sounds. If you are, then you are driving without due care and attention.
-
I'm pretty sure it's illegal to drive with phones that exclude all external noise. Unsafe, too.

Mine hardly uses any oil at all. Just make sure you use the proper stuff (0W20) and not cheap oil and you should be fine.

First aid kit - thanks! Sent from my LG-Q6 using Tapatalk

Hi Benjie and welcome. Fab colour!
-
If you guys have a local meet keep me in mind. I'm not very far away.
-
Ok, thanks Lauren. I've got the warning triangle, hi-vis jackets, alcohol testers, GB plate etc. all from the last trip (but in a different car). Wonder how my French will cope with "this car is all-LED and doesn't need any spare bulbs"!

Changes to Projects & Builds - Introduction of Blogs
MartinT replied to rob275's topic in News & Updates
As well as the blogs not getting much in the way of views, they don't appear in Tapatalk at all -
I bought mine as the demonstrator for the Plymouth Subaru dealership, so clearly they had no intention of replacing it.

Aston DB9 for me!
