Higher compression ratio will make boosting problematic.

Tuning development NA kit, should I also get super res catback?

It sounds nice with the super-resonator, no drone on the motorway but still makes its presence known. -
Tuning development NA kit, should I also get super res catback?

I had to swap out the resonator for the super-resonator. My BRZ is my daily driver and it was just too loud to be tolerable on my 40 mile commute. It was also sleepy village uncouth at night. -
Washed the car today and found my passenger side wiper blade in a very poor state. Down to Halfrauds and got a set of 20/22" wipers for £23. Bosch, done (sorry)!

It was around £4500 fitted at the time, all superbly installed by Abbey Motorsport. As I explained in my PM to you, I really didn't want a turbo marring the excellent knife-edge handling of the car. The supercharger is very predictable in that regard and just feels like a bigger engine.

I'll second the CTEK recommendation, it's very good for restoring battery performance. Fitting the connector to the battery makes charging very easy.

Nice purchase and welcome! Depending on age, you may find it has electronic service history. Worth asking Toyota. I found the Mk.I MX-5 a blast to drive. Not fast but go-kart like in cornering.

Yuasa YBX3014 60Ah is what I bought to replace the feeble Panasonic in my 2017 BRZ.

35mpg when it was NA. 32mpg now with the Harrop s/c. My commute is mostly motorway driving.

No, I'm afraid not.

The car search isn't fixed. When you've entered all the details you get presented with another car search page in a different format.

I take my car to Abbey each year for its MOT. They know how to get it through the test. It was there just last week and passed without any additional notes. Not the NA package, they installed my Rogue manifold and Harrop supercharger a year ago.

Abbey Motorsport specifically use 5W 30 for boosted cars like mine, and say that it can also be used in non-boosted cars giving a little more margin of protection. 0W 20 is specified for economy as it is less viscous. 5W 30 cannot damage the engine, at least not in this country (perhaps in Northern Canada it might be ill-advised)!

No, the ECU maps can only be replaced by reprogramming. Worst case, take it back to the tuners and ask them to reprogramme it with your map, which they will have kept. I would check for other things first, though, like a blocked air filter.

It's quite likely the battery was disconnected and this resets the ECU's learning. Throttle response is always an issue for me after a reset. You can speed things up by turning the ignition on (but not starting the engine) and moving the throttle pedal fully down and fully up about 10 times. This helps it to relearn the pedal travel. Then just drive it. Throttle response comes back pretty quickly after that.,

Judging by my tracking chart, Abbey achieved perfect alignment without needing adjustable top mounts.

The Exedy Stage 1 clutch is remarkably fuss-free. The biting point for me is a touch lower in the pedal travel than before (my stock clutch was finished) and the quality of bite is smooth but more defined, meaning it's been useful practising matching speeds as I do when changing down. Most importantly, the action is smooth and the pedal is no heavier to operate than stock. It's as good a performance upgrade as I could hope for, and now I can lay down all the torque at my disposal.

Camber bolts, adjustable lower arms, drop links, poly bushes all installed and setup by Abbey.

Hey Neil, nice to meet you today at Abbey. How are you finding your Bilsteins? I didn't ask you as I forgot about this post. I'm finding them excellent for keeping the wheels on the road and being able to power through corners.
-
Down to Abbey Motorsport tomorrow for the Exedy Stage 1 clutch and MoT. Hope Scott's got the coffee machine warming up...

I took this one a couple of days ago after washing it. Low light shot.

What tyre size would you put on an 8.5J rim?

Nice. XXR 527s? Same as mine. -
