Having the EL already I would of liked a listen to the UEL but don't think I'd go back to one now, that itch has been scratched (I think). -

Well tonight went out for a drive and straight away noticed a knocking/banging metallic sound, had a look around and couldn't see anything, drove it over a slightly bumpy road and the noise was worse, any ideas what to try a look at and check just in case i've forgot something. The last time it was driven was this morning and it was silent.

I really like the carbon bonnets, just need to convince the wife they're only £199
-
All fixed now, I checked the top mounts first and everything seemed OK, the top nut was firm but when a socket went on it it moved quite freely, tightened this nut up and went for a drive, no more noise, if the top mounts didn't keep been mentioned I think I would of not rechecked it again. Thanks all

Cheers Lauren, will do.
-
Rob, this is a strange one! One minute it was OK next minute I had a Jamaican steel band in my car
-
Cheers Keith, hmm top mounts good shout.
-
Rich it's more of a knock when going over lumps n bumps, heavy metallic knock, sounds like something on the suspension really, but worth a check anyway.
-
Cheers matey, one to check again tomorrow when it's light keep em coming please
