Nigel, I can't believe you've taken apart and re assembled the gearbox, I could take one apart but putting it back together just would not happen . Your range of talents are pretty amazing !.

    Marks Mods

Here we go again "modding season has started". Milltek resonated cat back installed yesterday I knew there would be an issue with having the TRD skirt and the milltek only having I tailpipe each side, but no problem this will be resolved very soon. The reason I went with the milltek resonated system is because i wanted it to be as quiet as possible (to start with). One of the benefits over my old system is the ground clearance, it's now quite a bit higher than before. On the pic below it looks like there's no exhaust this will change very soon. Very happy with the sound of the car very deep and throaty. Next came the Takeda intake system Quite easy to install, The old one above with sound tube. The intake system fitted below First impressions, It sounds just like the original until you boot it and hit 4K, then it gets louder (sucking noise), with regards to power there is a definite improvement. The Cobra O/P and sports cat will be going on next

Stan, I went for the UEL for the opposite reasons, as wasn't so much bothered with top end. I can't see an outright winner with the EL or UEL as they both do different things. Looks like we've entered modding season again :-D

Stan, fingers crossed mine will be a little quieter, Tomie UEL header ordered, Milltek res cat back fitted yesterday, Cobra o/pipe and sports cat fitting next week, and Takeda air box going in today, then down to Adrian mid Feb for a tune. Just like Christmas I was going to go turbo and all the bits that go with it, I saved all but £1500 and then my wife reminded me that her train and car parking ticket needed renewing, £3900 straight out of my fund . Speaking to people with similar set-ups they are well impressed,

Gtechniq g5 Glass sealant on rear window

As Rob says layers, I'd personally use two, to make sure of coverage. myself,I don't use anything on the front screen I might give it a try though.

Gtechniq g5 Glass sealant on rear window

Yeah the G5 doesn't last as long as the G1, that's why you use the G1 on the screen where the wipers are. Still the best product on the market though.

Gtechniq g5 Glass sealant on rear window

A couple of years in reality, especially as there is no wiper action. Mike do you follow the instructions to the letter

    Headlight adjustment for lowered cars

Good news ! My car will be down with Adrian next month, so I asked him to investigate altering the angle of the lights. Today, Adrian has got back and confirmed they can be altered without this adjustment bar, but the bar does make it a little easier. The good news is Fensports are getting a few made up and will be around half the price..
