Out of the two minutes of sunshine we've had over the weekend there have been no reflection issues at all, the binnacle has remained standard and only the silver bits and central vent have been done.
-
No looks like they don't have them now, But Jane has just found you these from a site she has used before, sorry about the price increase to £8 you will have to sign in though. https://www.wish.com/search/gt86 ac knob covers#cid=59db8249d88b0547257e0510

Jane bought them from Ali express £7.50 possibly with free pnp 😂 bargain!

You remove the trim around the radio and there are just two screws (remove them) securing the vent, you then just gently pull the vent off, then gently remove the rear vent box sections with a small screw driver on the tabs.

It is mate, just a pity I missed the 2 minutes of sun we had this morning they really popped when the sun hit them.

GT86 Turbo Kit & BRZ Turbo Kit from Tuning Developments
Mark-in-Stoke replied to Mike@TD.co.uk's topic in Tuning Developments
Mike, how much is it to retro fit and also does it work ok with the 2.5 " exhaust. -
Pretty sure I'd have done the same changes, nicely understated.
-
If the channels I liked were on FM I wouldn't have needed DAB, and I have noticed some channels are better than others, luckily the ones I like are really good.
-
Bloody typical the Peake district is pants, saying that when you're driving around there radio is the last thing on your mind.
-
yeah i agree about it being fully integrated but the little remote is fine and fits snugly just below the air con controls. With regards to the aerials the window sticky ones are cheap and cheerful, the more expensive shark fin are much better and the bee stings are the best, have a look http://www.dabonwheels.co.uk/DAB_car_aerials.html#IGM and reception with better aerials
-
Today I had the "just connect" dab adapter fitted and I'm well chuffed with it, contemplating getting a better aerial now as the one supplied is OK but a better one can make a massive improvement again.

Fingers crossed for the beatrush underpanel.
-
Well I finally got around to tinkering with the old bumper, trd front end and fiberglass. At the moment it's off having a grill made for it.
-
Another for the underpanel

Chillismokes 86 Detailed & Sealed (Gtechnic)
Mark-in-Stoke replied to rob275's topic in Cleaning & Detailing
Check out some of the you tube videos "there are loads" and have a go on something crappy you got from a scrap yard. The most important thing to remember is don't rush. -
Stu, reload is a very good coating "I use it myself", in between coatings I use Carpro ech02 with a touch of reload and diluted with distilled water as a quick detailer, every now and again I also give it a coat of Essence+ (not Essence) this is a repair for ceramic coatings it also has semi permanent fillers and is incredibly glossy and easy to apply and remove. So far i'm really happy with all the carpro products I have

Yep, totally agree

Loving the first two episodes, the first was a Ford Escort RS cosworth and the second a 1983 Toyota supra, brilliant start to a new series and Ant is worthy replacement for Ed
-
Paul I found it in"salts" HD quality. Nimz, don't worry nothing has changed with Mike, but luckily Ant makes up for it.
-
It's not on normal TV till January iifc, i'm streaming it atm.

The third wing did look weird but the original designer wanted them to do it, it also gained a third in downforce. The next episode is a mustang then a Saab after that.
-
Hi bud, I do have enough but think it might be a bit to light. You're welcome to have a look.

I did Janes rear lights in red and they came out brilliant, but had to remove it due to the indicators. gutted!!
