Like you I love the roads up there, it's basically right in between Buxton, Leek and Ashbourne, I'm sure more will come.- 115 replies

Loadsa tread and off within the next two weeks. Will get more info when it stops raining.

Janes car has the federal 595rs-R's on it and I think I'm in love (in the dry anyway) I've not tried them in the wet yet and probably won't, but Epic in the dry.
-
I bet they are awesome mate, unfortunately they will be coming off so that the conti's can go on.
-
Philip, it's a long time since I tested them, I can remember the 4" wasn't any better than standard one it just looked better and the 2" was terrible in my area. There's a picture of them on the first page

Had my turbo since Nov 15 and love it. No problem with anything you've mentioned and my throttle response was the same as before the turbo (a little sensitive), and this can be tuned out, so I'm told.

Cheers for the info and I meant the clear gear knob. Suppose I need to sit down to check out the price of the kenwood.π
-
What's the keyword model? Oh and love that gear knob.
-
I saw this earlier but didn't have time to comment π And yes I likey, I would have everything red if I could but that isn't a surprise is it. Gotta love the "hoe house look" π

an air leak coming from the filter? Has the sound only appeared since fitting your new filter?
-
Hi Mate, Did you ever manage to have a ride in an 86 with the new Β version ohlins fitted, and can you remember what the spring rates they were?
-
So far, so good, quite enjoying it to be honest.
-
I've gone for a light anthracite, loved the colour sample but will wait until I see it on the wheel before knowing if I've made the right decision or not, so fingers crossed.
-
I'm looking forward to seeing them close up. Mine are being done at the moment too, must be the season for it π
-
With regards to the scratches on the glass it looks like the guide may have become detached, this has happened to a few of us and have had the guide fixed and glass replaced under warranty.
-
Real nice red, Jeff

@TTR just wondering are both yours and Minnions car's set up the same, like suspension, camber etc?
-
Pity you didn't have the new tyres on the front, would have made a good comparison if you were getting loads of under steer.
-
Why, what were you two doing behind the sofa? π May have just seen you, were you behind a woman with long dark hair?
-
I have the GY eagle asymmetric 2's and can't fault them as a road tyre, I also have a couple of the asy3's in the garage waiting to be fitted, so can't comment on those yet, but if reviews are anything to go by they are a bit quieter and are a tad better in the wet.

Richard@RRG Macclesfield has a fix for the chirp.

They look like new.

Hello neighbour, excellent choice in colour!
