Utterly disappointed in the complete lack of snow so far, starting to wish I hadn't bothered buying them now! Still, I'm heading up proper north in 3 weeks, they might still earn their worth!

I am selling my OEM wheels & tyres as I have bought a winter set and don't intend putting these back on in the spring. There are 5 wheels & tyres available; 2 with 6+mm 2 with 5mm (1 of these has a scuff around the outside edge) 1 with 7+mm (only covered 400 miles and is as new) There are no kerb marks or scratches on 4 of the wheels and the original Michelin tyres have no puncture repairs or damage. This is the "spare" which is as new: I am in Hamilton near Glasgow but I can arrange these to be transported to Reading, Berkshire, or at a meeting place anywhere along that route if it helps. I would prefer to sell as a set for £750ono but I will consider selling separately. Thanks for looking!

I've got the HKS panel filter and noticed a difference straight away after fitting it. I've got an auto. I tested before and after installation at a particular section of road where I knew the auto kicked down a gear in standard form at 70mph. With just the HKS filter installed it didn't kick down. Repeated the test twice to ensure it wasn't just placebo.

Traction control?? Keith the tc comes on when accelerating from 85mph in 4th on damp tarmac!! The winter tyres are contributing to the lack of traction I reckon. It's just too damn warm for them at the moment! Yes Dave I agree, I think that's a section of privately owned dual carriageway - just off the M6 - at Walsall

Not back down south until 5th Jan mate, I'd be up for a midweek evening meet sometime though, but the BRZ wont be down again until March so it will need to be an 86/freelander or vw caddy minimeet

So - I'm just back from a run in the countryside with the dealer principal and the service manager of Eaglesham Garage! You should have seen the cheezy grins on their faces!! Suitably impressed! Had a bit of an airborne moment due to having more power than usual on a section of road I know well, this car has got some serious ooomph! The service manager's GB270 doesn't go airborne, come to think of it, neither have any of my previous cars, at the same section, the run up to it is normally to short! And the noise going through a tunnel??? You'd think it was a supercar with the sound off it! Have an exhaust tweak to sort out then I'll get some sound clips up. Definitely up for the FI Meet Keith!!

Firstly - Massive thanks to everyone at Fensport! Also thanks to Hashiriya, Will300 and Markinstoke for the micromeets on my way home last night! I haven't been able to play properly yet as I'm on the winter tyres, but on the journey home last night I had a few blasts and it's quick, seriously quick. And I know there's much more potential so watch this space! Also, i didn't take my time driving home for xmas (sing-a-long everyone!) and it returned 29.9mpg! Was up at 39mpg before i met Will at the UK Meet hotspot but we soon got that down a fair bit and by the time I left Mark I was just desperate to get home so not even the snow on the M6 at the Lake District slowed me down (that'll be the winters!). Will post more as I get used to it. Loving the spoiler, very stealth! If anyone in Scotland/the Norf wants to have a poke about it just let me know and we'll arrange something Cheers!

I remember that conversation too! I don't think you'll struggle for next year's target either Adrian! Mr Xxxxx?? If I was a gambling man I'd have a fair punt at who I think it might be!!! Choice of 2!! I cannot wait to get to Fensport tomorrow, if I didnt have work on tomorrow I'd be sitting at the gate by 7.30am!

My last few cars have been a WRX, Legacy Spec B and 2 x Impreza Turbo 2000's, so you know where I'm coming from mate, totally agree - 300+hp is great fun - but this'll do me, for now ....

Is it just me or does this have "twisted chassis" written all over it??? And will it handle the same with that lump at the front? Still, I wouldn't mind a blast in a straight line in it though! Bet its got a fair grumble off it too!

Everyone who's tried them is raving about them, they're (marginally) cheaper than the big name brands and they come from a country with plenty experience of winter conditions. Probably a few good reasons to choose them in amongst there! I'd never heard of them either and the Jury is still out on them until we get some sort of winter!

So what's the general consensus then now that the winter tyres are on peeps? Reason I ask is I drove 400 miles on mine last night, at over 10 degrees, 200 miles was in the wet, and I wasn't confident on them at all. I stuck to 75 with the cruise control on for most of the journey. I think next year I'll wait until there's snow on the ground before I put them on ....

Think its the wrong time of year to be selling these so I am withdrawing the set of 4 that came off the car from sale for now, however the "as new" single wheel with over 7mm tread is up for grabs on ebay if anyone fances their chances! Cheers!
