Final wee bump for this, just for those who have pledged but haven't seen that the challenge has finished, I lost 8.2kg and Jan 7.3kg. Together we've raised over £800 so far so thanks again to everyone who's donated, it's a very worthwhile cause http://www.justgiving.com/fatrab

Hi folks, I've got a big request to ask from you. I'm looking for sponsorship to raise a bit of cash for the Macmillan Cancer charity. http://www.macmillan.org.uk/Home.aspx My Dad recently passed away and the support provided to my family by the charity was fantastic so I'd like to do my bit by way of a sponsored WEIGHT LOSS!! (no more fatrab ) If anyone would like to support me with this I would like to be sponsored on a price-per-kilo basis, and I will be having my final weigh in on the 30th May 2014, so about 10 weeks from now. I aim to loose approx 1kg (2lbs) per week and my start weight, on the 17th of this month, was 103.4kg. I will be posting my weekly achievement both here and on facebook and you are welcome to add me and follow my progress. Mrs fatrab is also taking part so we'll be encouraging and competing with each other! Thanks, Rab

I had a problem with the same popper, it was coming undone far too easily (didn't notice a rattle but I'd only had the car a day when I notified the fault to the dealer). Alegedly, they didn't do anything to repair it, but miraculously it doesn't pop off now!! I suspect a grease monkey and some crimping pliers may have had some part in the ghost repair, but they did say that the only way to fix it would be to replace the seat cover as its stched in! Poor design imo

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has donated so far and give this a wee bump for those who also pledged to donate. Thanks, Jan & Rab https://www.justgiving.com/fatrab

All of the above!

Congratulations to them both!! I did the same with Jan's Dad, it ended in tears.......
-
I'm afraid I won't be there either. My car is dead and as Jan's is up for sale we're not using it (can't be arsed having to clean it every 5 mins lol). And I'm not coming down in the old astra! Afraid I feel that us trying to change 8/6 day to our format has been cursed! Along with the empty promises from Toyota's social media dept ........ Oh well, it can only go onwards and upwards from here, I hope!

Thank you all very much!

Well the final weigh in has taken place! Firstly I would just like to say thanks to everyone for their support and kind words since my Dad passed away, and for encouraging us with our efforts to raise some dosh for Macmillan. I'll cut to the chase: The target was 10kg in 10 weeks: I achieved: 8.2kg (1st 4lbs) Jan achieved: 7.3kg (1st 2lbs) Our holiday last week did a bit of damage to the final result, but we are both going to continue the weight loss efforts as we've done so well over the past few months. Thank you to everyone who has either pledged to donate or has donated on my Just Giving page. If anyone else would like to help this amazing charity please follow the link below. No. No. No. No. No. We (you) don't drive 6/8's we (you) drive 8/6's so it MUST be June!!! How many time do we need to go over this? (lol) Guys unfortunately I'm out of action again with vvti failure number 4 so I won't be going anywhere for the foreseeable future. Might be fixed by 6/8 mind...... Not holding my breath though

2nd Cat Delete pipe non resonated SORTED
Rab replied to toyokid's topic in For Sale GT86 / BRZ Parts
Stephen, I've got a Blitz decat pipe coming off in a few weeks time (24th May). http://www.gt86.org.uk/forums/topic/1527-circuit-sports-non-res-blitz-de-cat-pipe/ http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_109/Category_4/4650 I've agreed a sale for the exhaust centre section and back box, but the decat pipe is available if you're interested. Cheers, Rab -
Hi, no, it does away with the cat altogether; http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_109/Category_4/4650 Cheers, Rab

Due to a custom system going on, my current exhaust will be available for sale from Sat 24th May. It started life as a Resonated cat-back system on my standard car, but as time went on it became non-resonated then I de-catted when the turbo was fitted. As this exhaust has been a bit of a project between Fensport, Simon's Custom Exhausts and myself, and the exhaust has been cut, chopped and changed, I'm asking the modest sum of £250 for the cat-back exhaust (it was £670 new) and £120 for the Blitz secondary de-cat pipe - http://www.fensport.co.uk/Parts/Model_109/Category_4/4650 I'm open to sensible offers if you take them both, I don't have storage space so it'd be handy to get them away as soon as they come off the car tbh. Be warned, it is quite loud! Will try and get some decent sound clips of how it sounds at the moment and add them to this post

Cracking night folks, good to meet new and old friends and at the same time a wee bit sad and disappointed that Fiona, Splerb, has been left with no choice but to move on.... We got gatecrashed by the Bentley Owners Club!!! And the star car of the evening - My Black GT 508-6 !! That was one seriously nice Bentley though!!! See you all again soon, and thank you again Mrs & Mr Splerb for your kind donation to Macmillan!
